I asked an employee of the tile store if she knew of a great tile person and she immediately recommended Ivan. In fact, she told me that he was about to start a project on her house, so she really meant it. I called Ivan and he responded quickly. I immediately sensed that he knew what he was talking about and took great pride in his work which was important to me. Ivan and Sergei, who is also absolutely experienced and incredible, could not have done a better job! The tile was layed out perfectly, the grout lines are perfect and they cut the tiles so the pattern looks amazing throughout. Check out the photo I attached of the corner wall in my kitchen. The large fireplace really needed people with extensive expertise because it turned out that unbeknownst to me, those tiles also were not exactly even. Before this project, I hadn't realized that a lot of tiles aren't the same exact size even if you think they are, so you need someone who really knows how to handle that. Ivan and Sergei spent a lot of time with a laser light pointer to make sure everything lined up perfectly and the end result is fantastic! The fireplace with the little tiles was also challenging because the little tiles kept coming off the mesh backing they came on. Ivan figured out how to make them stick on their backing prior to applying them and the end result is perfect. They also did our bathroom for us including a glass shower nook and that too, came out perfect. In addition to all that, everyone at I & E is extremely professional, timely, great at communicating and friendly. They take great pride in their work and it shows. I'm very grateful for the amazing job they did. You won't be sorry if you hire them!

I called Ivan, and he said he only has a 1 year warranty. We removed the shower pan tile and found he did not do proper water proofing and it leaked through the corner of the shower. Now I cannot ahold of him. How can you trust this company when there is no store to find them at and they don't return your calls. I'm now stuck with a demolished, leaking shower. Stay away from this company!

It wasn't until after they left and I was taking it all in that I found the dime sized chip behind the faucet. That made me look at everything more closely and I found little spots scattered here and there that were dull and not sealed like the rest of the countertop. It's not easy to see with the variation of color and all the swirls but it may affect the countertop in the future. I signed that form stating everything was fine so I will have to live with it. I didn't know I had to ask to have holes drilled to anchor my dishwasher. You would think it was obvious since the screws were sticking out from my new dishwasher waiting to be anchored to my counter when they installed it. Every time I open the door to the dishwasher and pull out a rack the dishwasher tips forward then I have to lift it back in place, very annoying. It just reminds me why I'm not going back there to do my bathroom. I'll have my bathroom guys fix the kitchen issues. Don't forget to ask for your leftover piece of stone. I had about $1000 of granite leftover (3 slabs) They don't automatically give it to you if you don't ask. They sell it at full price. I had enough to make a side table the perfect height for kneading bread and sold the other 2 slabs. I'm glad the kitchen remodel is over. I'm looking forward to working with the staff at Works Granite and Stone. They have 5 stars and ratings say they are thorough and professional, so maybe this time will go more smoothly.

I had a problem with the installation and called to get replacement and possibly look at some more. She indicated to me that her first appointment to come into the showroom was a month out. When attempted to indicate that I already had product that I just needed to order more, she said "we're not a good fit for you" and hung up on me. I run 3 businesses... dealing with difficult clients and customer service. Behavior like this is never acceptable. Motor Mouth Lacy, in a condescending, rude, and aggressive tone hung up on me before I could explain that I was a customer looking for prior product. I actually called back to get Lacy's name, I said to her that I didn't appreciate her condescending tone, lack of professionalism and she hung up on me again. At no time did I raise my voice in either conversation, use profanity's or calls names. Frankly, she hung up on me less than 30 seconds after I got on to the phone. I imagine Lacy is either part owner or family member. I can't actually imagine anyone with her lack of skills and behavior is actually employed. Or maybe the employers don't know about her behavior.. that frequently happens.

The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.

However it made no difference: - Installers cut corners trying to remove old fridge through a tight corner without disassembly - Dinged up the house, ripped a hole into a railing, 8 or so medium to large gouges in drywall, and almost shattered a wall sconce - It took over a month to get repairs done, being told 3 separate times I'd be contacted and yet still having to follow up myself numerous times to make anything happen - Contracted repair company did a decent patch job, but the repair is obvious with paint not fully covering patches or blending into the rest of the wall When you buy an appliance, the implicit contract is that your home won't be damaged, and if it is, they will make it right ($), restore it to its prior condition, and own driving that process. It's still not repaired to it's prior condition, I've had to drive the entire process myself, and I've received no compensation for the headaches.

So after My Agile Cousin Yancy's blew us off, we sought out a couple of repair businesses via the Internet. Another business offered an equally attractive price for the work but wanted to charge $115 per hour for pick-up and delivery. Heck, my mechanic doesn't charge that much to work on my car, and they're just driving. The Memory Mender was much more accommodating and reasonable. He came out to our house to assess the damage, then gave us an estimate. He also worked hard to find quality parts economically, installed them professionally, and refinished the top so that it looks new again. He and a helper picked up the table, he did the work, and the pair returned it to our home in about 10 days. We are LOVING it! We very much appreciate the workmanship, attention to detail, concern for their customers' budget, and their overall integrity. HIGHLY recommended.

Despite emails, calls, and voicemails, there was no response for a week. After driving back again just to get an answer, I was told new requirements applied that were never mentioned while the sales rep walked me around looking at remnants. The remnant remains on their floor, unsold, but my time was already spent. If you need responsiveness or clarity to keep a project moving, proceed cautiously. I took my business elsewhere.

I have asked 4 times and each time I received the response, "oh, I will get it to you tomorrow." It would have been preferable to hear from the start that the project was "too small" or "product choice too cheap" or anything other than the promise that they will get me a bid "tomorrow." Even if they offered the very best price, I wouldn't have them install because I imagine that the installation date would always be "tomorrow."
