WOW, I can't remember when I spoke to a customer service rep as rude and unprofessional as Lacy. A few months ago, I purchased a few thousand dollars in Tile from this company. I had a problem with the installation and called to get replacement and possibly look at some more. She indicated to me that her first appointment to come into the showroom was a month out. When attempted to indicate that I already had product that I just needed to order more, she said "we're not a good fit for you" and hung up on me. I run 3 businesses... dealing with difficult clients and customer service. Behavior like this is never acceptable. Motor Mouth Lacy, in a condescending, rude, and aggressive tone hung up on me before I could explain that I was a customer looking for prior product. I actually called back to get Lacy's name, I said to her that I didn't appreciate her condescending tone, lack of professionalism and she hung up on me again. At no time did I raise my voice in either conversation, use profanity's or calls names. Frankly, she hung up on me less than 30 seconds after I got on to the phone. I imagine Lacy is either part owner or family member. I can't actually imagine anyone with her lack of skills and behavior is actually employed. Or maybe the employers don't know about her behavior.. that frequently happens. read more

Called kitsap kitchen and bath multiple times and no one picked up. The Google page indicated that they were open until 5 o'clock so we drove an hour and a half down to see them. Three Employees standing outside smoking cigarettes and not willing to help us. Doors are locked while another three people are inside refusing to acknowledge that we're standing outside. Called the company again and they finally picked up asking us to come back another day. I have never experienced this level of poor customer service. Absolutely embarrassing behavior from a business. Have the professionalism to step outside and have a conversation with your potential customers. read more

So we drove from Port Townsend to Poulsbo on Saturday to take a look at their bathroom items. when we got there, we saw the sign on the door that says by appointment only. Their was a woman and a couple inside the store so we opened up the door and said we just like to look around. i had told her I had tried to call two times and nobody answered the phone. she said she was the only one there and that we needed an appointment ,again we just said we wanted to just look around for a few minutes and her comment was well since you barged in here what can I do? I did say that was very rude and we will not use her ever and she just did this in front of another client. she proceeded to lock the door when we left and people in the parking lot said she doesn't want you to shop there.. avoid this place and their rude customer service read more

Heather, the gallery manager at Kitsap Kitchen & Bath, is exceptional to work with. She asked all the right questions, explained options and steered us in our decision making for a bathroom remodel. Overprice, poor service. I spent over a year trying to remodel a bathroom with KKB. The initial quote for a 8x6 bathroom remodel, no plumbing moved was $55k. I had to ask multiple times for the design plan. the times estimate to complete the work was 2 months but maybe by the end of the year. strongly recommend against. I received a quote for some tile in June of 2017. I decided to buy the tile in Port Ludlow for a more competitive price. However, it was a pleasant experience so I recommended Kitsap to a friend who had just moved from Bainbridge to Poulsbo and wanted their bathroom remodeled. After several visits they signed a contract for a design fee for approxmately $800.00. My friends indicated that their budget was not to exceed $22,000 which was spelled out in the contract. After several months and many phone calls they received a quote for $32,000. It was indicated by Kitsap that it would be impossible to meet their budget. My friend visited the owner and requested their fee be returned because they didn't meet the requirement of submitting a bid within their budget. After a meeting with the owner's daughter and then a separate meeting with the owner, who was rude, belligerant and very difficult to reason with. There are always 2 sides to a story, but there is not any reason for a business man to be rude and intimading to a women who is just trying to give their side of a business deal. Its fairly obvious the owner doesn't have the ability to deal with customer who may have a difference of opinion of what should or should not be done to satisfy a customer. I would stay away from this company. read more

These guys just redid our dated old kitchen and the whole experience start to finish couldn't have been better. Lacey and Randy were incredible to work with, as was the rest of the team that came and did the different parts of the job. Their personalities are amazing and they're just fun to be around and their knowledge and professionalism was invaluable as this was our first experience remodeling anything. They made it less intimidating and we always felt supported but in charge of the entire process. The work was done surprisingly quickly and under budget and we absolutely love our new kitchen. We shopped around first but are so happy we made the right choice and went with these guys. Can't recommend them enough! read more

Tracy and Randy are a great team - Tracy assisting with the design aspect and Randy with project management. The project was completed on time and on budget. Both have a great eye for detail and made sure even the smallest details were finished to our expectations. The contractors were skilled tradesmen and were very courteous and professional during the times we had interaction. Had a bathroom remodel done by Quality Countertops in Bremerton. (worst possible result). I finally hired Kitsap Kitchen and Bath to do a re-remodel. After the first experience it was so nice to see what real professionals were like. They came to look at our bathroom for a bid, When they finished explaining the things that needed to be done to fix what had been done previously I was astounded. They had to completely replace the Corian surround, the Shower Pan, the glass, sheetrock, part of the sub-floor, the underlayment,, and redo all of the vinyl flooring. I promised my wife that for moving from CA to Poulsbo, WA that she would get the kitchen of her dreams in our new home. I did as much homework as possible via long distance (meaning the web and phone). Although we liked other web sites better, and felt Kitsap Kitchen's site was dated, when we interviewed them in person and took them to our new home, we were blown apart by their knowledge, expertise and I can't forget pricing! We met Mark, our lead guy, and Tracy and Jim, who hand held us every step of the way. They just don't talk about excellence and attention to detail, they practice it. I should know because I am relatively anal myself, plus I am not the easiest person to please as my background deals heavily in attaining perfection. Their staff, led by construction head Lew and Alex, electrician Jesse, plumber John, the painters & the hardwood floor guys all worked together as a well oiled machine. I had contemplated using different people for different projects, however, Mark correctly pointed out the advantages of their whole team working together. To a man each was top notch in their field, polite and clean. We needed this done by a certain date, and despite us adding on some projects, they came in right before the due date, and on budget! Can you tell we are pleased? We still maintain an excellent relationship with the team AFTER the project was completed, all the way to Mark babysitting our cats when we go back to the Bay Area. I stopped in about 10ish days ago to have them come out for a look to see what is possible for a remodel of our bathroom. I was told they have a weekly meeting to assess client needs and we'd hear something this week. I haven't heard a thing. It may be that our needs are to small for their company. The people in this store are amazing. We walked in and immediately were greeted by friendly, helpful people who knew how to walk us through what we wanted to do. We wanted to do the project management ourselves and they were fine with that, providing us backup, and information we needed. Even though we were doing the project management ourselves, they called us to notify us of progress of our countertops and sinks and then called both to let us know when things would be delivered, and then provide us exact times during the day of delivery. Finally they called to make sure everything had gone okay. I have never felt as comfortable with a vendor as these people. They really care and they do an incredible job. read more

First off, they charge for an estimate and "design". The design was just a few drawings and a a rather generic cost estimate. For a simple bathroom, the cost came to over 20k and I had agreed to do rip- out, plumbing / fixtures and electrical/ lights . My budget was not that high so I skiped the heated tile floor and got a new cost of around 15k. I went to the office to sign the contracts and pay a 50% deposit. It was then that I was informed that they charge 2% for credit cards. It is about a 45 minute drive to their office and I did not have a checkbook or $7500 cash on me so I had to cough up the extra. It would not been a big deal except they knew I was paying by credit card and did not charge any extra when I paid the " design/ estimate fee" earlier. Work was scheduled to start on a Monday, but Sunday eveing, I was called and told that the sheetrock guy could not make it---late enough that I had cleaned everything out and removed the toliet. He finally did come 8 days later on Tuesday then skipped Wednesday and back Thursday and again the following Monday and Tuesday. ( I did tell them that I had a Fri-Sun window I was not home) but the whole job took 15 days with NO toilet inside. Cabinets took another week. In spite of being told numerous times that they schedule everything tightly and could not have delays becayse of work I was doing. It did not apply to their work because they did not even start building them until the walls were done. When the cabinets were installed, no knobs. I was told that it is a personal prefernce and not included.....but they also said they always show them on the drawings. Same for floor and window trim....shown but not included. I was told they would...but at additional cost. They had also specifically said they would relocate the door frame to account for the sheeetrock thickness....but installation day said it would be too hard to do without destroying the door. Took me 15 minutes to do it with no damage. The last screwup came when the mirrors were being installed. They came with dryed out mastic. The tube was years past the experation date and would not even come out. If you give them a blank check and do nothing yourself, the results might be OK. For me, I did not have unlimited funds and was able to do much of the work myself so the work they did was not up to what they showed on drawings, took way too long and was not up to my expectations. read more

Contacted Kitsap Kitchen and Bath in Poulsbo and 4 others, for our master closet and bath remodel. Personnel were friendly. Surprise was KK&B were the only ones to charge to review our needs, schedule, budget and prepare a bid. After our initial complimentary discussion, next visit was at $75 per hour to prepare dwgs and bid. Their practice is to give back a portion of the design consulting fees should you choose to sign a contract with them, otherwise this is their fee to meet and bid your job. For the $2,000 we got 8 computer dwgs and an estimate that was $20,000 over our stated budget. We went with another company. Make sure you get the design fees and deliverables clearly defined, and in writing, BEFORE proceeding. read more

I wanted a first class shower enclosure and that is exactly what I got, From the very beginning of the process Jim Collins patiently took time with my wife and I to show us many options and help us through the design. We select multiple tile samples and took them home and picked the best to match our existing bathroom. Jim then worked with us to design the deco tile with the base color and created an amazingly beautiful look with a combination of large and small tiles on the square and on the diamond. Jim also worked with us to schedule the work so that most of the messy part was done with my wife out of town so as to cause the least inconvenience possible. Finally the tiles were layed beautifully. The glass door fits perfectly. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the final product and the care that Jim showed for his work along the way. The entire staff made us feel like family and I still drop by just to chat. Oh and the thank you for our business flowers were a classy touch. I recommend this company without reservation. read more
