And some other granite/marble places which only provide the slab. Akropolis handled everything from start to finish and gave me the exact price right away. The sales staff was super patient with explaining everything to me and I was amazed to hear that I would have my stone countertop in about 10 days. And they were true to the word! It literally was here in 10 days. It's a beautiful piece and their installers did an amazing job with the install and clean up afterwards!

Walking in I was very impressed with the show room and the supply center. I was not able to find the supplies, and since the store was practically empty, I decided to ask the clerk (behind the register) if I would be able to get help. He gave me a weird look and rudely said "well, no, I am busy, you can ask the showroom if they can get someone for me." Basically, he was talking to his friend who was sitting down in front of him while they chatted. OK.....hmmm...not a good sign. I decided to leave the supply center and enter the showroom. The receptionist was very nice, and my mom and I walked in to take a look at a couple of Kohler toilets we wanted to buy for our upstairs bathrooms. Nobody approached us to help us. At this time we decided to go back to the supply room to see if we could find what we needed. I was right next to the rude guy and he never even asked us if we ever got any assistance or if we needed help. My mom and I decided to leave without looking further. Since the receptionist was so nice, I decided to tell her about my experience and told her that the supply center guy was not very helpful, and in fact he was kinda rude...could it because we were two Asian females??? She told me that they were short staffed that week and apologized on his behalf. She said she would get someone from upstairs to help us if needed...I told her 'no' that we were about to leave. She told me the rude guy's name is RICK and that the regular staff was out today. Never going back to this place again...How unfortunate RICK doesn't understand the value of excellent customer service. His name is RICK and worked there on Thursday, 3/19/15 at 3pm.

After being disregarded and brushed off by 3 other shops, I starting figuring out how the kitchen and bath retailing industry works. To get waited on 'well', YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT with a designer, even if all you want is a faucet. Kitchen and bath sellers hand-sell every object on the show room side. Even If you're going to the showroom to look at something you plan to buy online from a discount seller, I"ll bet you're going to have a question (how deep is the xxx? How many inches does this need to be set back from xxx?) and if you have a question, you need an appointment to get a quality service. It's kinda like a doctor's office, except you might see the 'doctor' and 'patient' right in front of you, just looking at a bath tube, so it seems like you should be able to just jump in and ask a quick question or two. In fact, that 'patient' made a ONE HOUR (that's the usual) appointment with the 'doctor' and they're in a working session. I guess folks re-do their K's and B's infrequently enough that this matter of needing an appointment is not widely known; I sure wish I'd known it before my 3 nasty experiences with other showrooms. Because the Ferguson designer Molly was so incredible, understood me so fast, knew the product, knew exactly what to show me, I shared about my other bad showroom experiences where I had no appointment, and she compared it to wedding dress retailers. One might do that big wedding dress shopping-with-mom/bridesmaids once in a lifetime, and if you don't know that you need an appointment and walk in off the street, you'l be shoo'ed out of the dress shop asap, even with $15,000 cash hanging out of your purse. It's not a system that is structured to handle walk-ins. It's not home depot. I'm giving Ferguson's 5 stars for the quality of show room and Molly 10 stars (if I could) for customer service. WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT, make it with Molly, even if you have wait a few days. She's based in the lansdale office, but I believe that if you wanted too, you could book with Molly and ask to work with her at the King of Prussia show room, which is ENORMOUS.

To the point that they would not expedite the cabinet that we needed (that THEY messed up), would not provide any discount and actually went as far as wanting us to pay to have the correct one shipped to us. The saga continued with the regional manager lying saying he would refund us the original shipping charge, but did not communicate that to the employee we were working with at this store. Long story short, this has pushed everything else we have scheduled on our remodel back a week and a half because that is the soonest they can get us the cabinet that THEY messed up ordering. Hands down worst customer service I've experienced, especially when it was completely the companies fault. No help at all, not even an apology. For this reason I would go to one of the many other cabinet stores. My 5 stars is based solely on sales representative and ordering process. I will come back and update after install on quality of cabinets etc. The sales representative Mary Jane has been very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable through our whole ordering/layout process. We met with her on multiple occasions, emails, etc. and she was always very responsive and helpful in all areas of the process. She deserved the 5 star review. There were three different kinds to choose from that offered various levels of filtration. I don't care too much about the ultra filtered bags, but the man insisted that the only ones that would work for my vacuum were the most expensive ones. When I pointed to the cheaper bags, he told me they were for commercial machines and not for my vacuum. Wow, what a huge lie! I ended up buying the cheaper ones despite him telling me they won't work, and I said if they don't fit, I will return them. The cheap bags worked just fine and I will NOT go back to this store ever again.
