The distillery tour and tasting flight were the perfect afternoon activity! The owner and bartenders were knowledgeable and welcoming. You could tell they really enjoyed what they do. Their good energy is infectious. The tasting flight was well balanced and engaging. You learn the history the liqueurs, what they are made of, and how Ferino brings their own special touch to the final product, all while sipping on liquid deliciousness. I regret not buying a few bottles while I was there this weekend. So much so that I ordered a some bottles online. I'm hoping to do the gin making class the next time I'm in town. read more

This was such a neat experience! I am always down to try new things so when my bestie suggested a tasting as a double date, I was super excited. Ferino exceeded my expectations. They currently make 3 liquors and told us there is a 4th flavor in development. They were so unique and unusual! It was really neat to learn about their process and get to see the equipment. We were visiting town on a gambling junket from Colorado, and wanted something interesting to do. My wife bought a distillery tour online, and we came to redeem it, in the middle of a snow blizzard. We met with Joe Cannella, an owner, and you can read all of the reviews above by Donna B, who does such a great job. We brought a bottle of coffee, liquor, Coretto back home in our luggage, along with a Cannella cinnamon bottle. We just opened the coffee bottle tonight, and had a great time with that. We will be back, and you need to go to this distillery. When we walked in, there were four small gin stills operating, and that was part of gin club. What a great place, and great booze. Went to pick up my swag bag today and was delightfully surprised once I entered the distillery. It's in a neighborhood Im not familiar with, but it was daytime and there was parking right in front. Joe greeted me right away, he was warm and friendly as he asked if I was picking up a Yelp bag. He gave me a bag and a bottled cocktail from Frey's distillery which had honey and lemon in Bourbon which he said is great over ice, can't wait to try it! I asked if they served food and he explained that no they don't but food can brought in or ordered and delivered to enjoy. There are tables which you can sit and chill (socially distant of course) with friends. I was interested in the mural on the wall and asked if it was from a local artist and he said it was and depicts the story of the process from harvest to enjoying the fruits of labor. I kind of just walked in here on a whim with some friends and it's a really cool space! I ordered the margarita and it was amazing! They add cinnamon to it which sounds weird but it really went well with the flavors, I loved it! They make their own liqueurs and next time I go back I'm going to try one with the coffee liqueur. The best thing to do in Reno. Chill vibes and staff is amazing. Clair knows her shit--she's creative and you can tell she really cares about making unique, quality cocktails. My friend and I went there for drinks a week ago and then came back today to take a holiday cocktail/mocktail making class from her. What a beautiful product put out by Ferino Distillery. They offer three different Italian liqueurs; a Amaro, a Fernet, and a cinnamon cordial. The liqueurs has been produced for a few years now, but they recently opened a distillery with a bar and coffee bar that showcase their products. There is a unique list of cocktails, including one that comes in a paper bag! They also have a coffee bar open 5 days a week. If you'd like, try it with one of their liqueurs, which I hear compliments the coffee nicely. I went on one of their grand opening weekend nights and it was packed. There is a long bar, a cool mural, and tall ceilings. Michael Moberly, the brand ambassador and distillery manager, was on hand making drinks and shaking hands. He's a super fun guy who really knows his product. I don't really recall what I drank, but I remember I really enjoyed it. I will be going back on a less crazy night so I can slow down and really take in the whole experience. Plus, I need to try that coffee bar! read more

Ferino's is our favorite spot in Reno! They make a wonderful set of liquors and tasty cocktails. Probably the most known for the cinnamon and coffee liquor, but the amaro and fernet are gems as well. Joe and Taylor are always friendly and incredibly hospitable. It's always a great time getting to sit at the bar, talk with them, and learn more about the wonderful world of bitter liquors! And you have to do a tour! You just got to. It's a great deal, and it's a blast getting to hear the history of the distillery and learn about their process. Amazing local distiller that specializes in Amaros, Cinnamon Cordials, and Fernets. They have an impressive selection of unique craft cocktails that highlight these spirits. You can even do a tour of the distillery! I went through the whole menu and loved just about everything. The Please Say Lizard (clarified pumpkin spice milk punch), HP Twanky/Twanky (gim, amaro, lime, ginger, white wine), and Fernet jello shots were my favorites. I was also a big fan of an Old Fashioned with a splash of Amaro. The service was excellent both times I visited and clearly the bartenders and passionate about what they do. The space features hand-painted murals by a local artist, plenty of cozy seating, and a great vibe. Going forward, I can't imagine a trip to Reno without stopping by Ferino! read more

My husband and I were able to join some friends here for their distillery tour and tasting and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed hearing the history of the drinks from the owner himself and definitely have my eye on a few drinks that I'll need to go back to try at a later date. You can find a cozy spot to cuddle into or sit at the bar with friends at the bar and still receive the same great service. We had been in on their grand opening and liked it so we decided to take some friends. I actually purchased a bottle of their Fernet at a liquor store. I think on its own it's a required taste but I love the bitterness. Mix it with Bourbon and it's delicious. We ended up getting an old fashioned and a Harriet the Spy (gin, canella cinnamon, apples, honey and soda) which was refreshing and delicious! Now I have a bottle of the Cinnamon that I can't wait to add to coffee or come up with a fun cocktail. They do have a coffe bar that's open until 3pm in which they will add their liquors to. A friend and I thought that it would be fun to go out and try this new distillery. I had tried one of their cocktails when they came to the street party in Dickerson. They were offering 3 of their locally made spirits. They were like an Italian style to my taste, but with their own character. Infused with botanicals and fresh and flowery. One reminded me of a vermouth. I sipped the three straight which worked for me, but my friend enjoyed them in cocktail. By chance the person sitting next to her was an old school friend.
