The shop she's at I found out is all woman owned , my fear when I went to the shop was that it'd be clicky or catty and it couldn't be further from the truth . I have observed being there that this group of ladies couldn't put better vibes out into the world even if they wanted to they are that extraordinary. I watch as they joke around and encourage each other, uplift each other and help each other both with clients and their love of tattoos and their art. Looking around I know each lady is phenomenal at the craft and I would gladly wear a tattoo from any of them . they on more than one occasion have gone out of their way to help the other people in the shop and be honest about the quality and expectations . The atmosphere when you're in there is like you're chilling with your best friends. You feel open to chat and talk and enjoy the process. Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. In my first review I said I wanted to wait and see how my piercing was doing after having it done…read more I was told that having my helix done was going to take a few months to heal but the pain I was feeling was still surprising me. It didn't feel like it was healing at all. Unfortunately I needed to have it looked at but this location was closed on Sunday and Monday. I didn't feel comfortable waiting so I went to another piercing shop to get it checked out. They told me that the jewelry I had wasn't good among other things and it was good I came in because it could have become infected. Now I know that different shops can be biased and have competition but I did change out the jewelry just to see if that would make a difference. It was like night and day. Within the next few hours my ear started to feel better. Then after a few days it got even better. Obviously my piercing will take time to heal but the pain I've been in has gone way down as it heals with the new jewelry. It was disappointing that I couldn't get this checked and that I needed to buy new jewelry and have it changed out.
