Amazing service and very clean! I had a great experience and the whole piercing process was very affordable.

In my first review I said I wanted to wait and see how my piercing was doing after having it done. I was told that having my helix done was going to take a few months to heal but the pain I was feeling was still surprising me. It didn't feel like it was healing at all. Unfortunately I needed to have it looked at but this location was closed on Sunday and Monday. I didn't feel comfortable waiting so I went to another piercing shop to get it checked out. They told me that the jewelry I had wasn't good among other things and it was good I came in because it could have become infected. Now I know that different shops can be biased and have competition but I did change out the jewelry just to see if that would make a difference. It was like night and day. Within the next few hours my ear started to feel better. Then after a few days it got even better. Obviously my piercing will take time to heal but the pain I've been in has gone way down as it heals with the new jewelry. It was disappointing that I couldn't get this checked and that I needed to buy new jewelry and have it changed out. read more

My roommates and I went in to get piercings and had an awesome experience from start to finish! They were really accommodating for appointments and gave us a last-minute slot right before closing time on the same day -- we really appreciated their flexibility. The shop followed COVID precautions and is currently not doing piercings that would require mask removal and everyone kept their mask on the whole time. Our piercer May was SO sweet and knowledgeable! She was really patient and fun to talk to, as well as answered all of our questions about aftercare and future piercing plans. I got a second lobe piercing and they had a ton of unique jewelry to choose from. Everyone got to choose one that got their personality. The process was painless, quick, and professional! May was so considerate and gave a stress ball to whoever needed it. The pricing here is also reasonable for piercings, considering that they're a permanent investment for your body. We purchased the recommended aftercare spray; the piercing didn't hurt at all in the following days and the spray was easy-to-use. I've personally had problems with infected piercings in the past but this one is healing up so nicely. Overall, probably one of the best piercing experiences I've had -- will definitely be back for all my future piercing needs! read more

I have to get the piercing redone and would not be able to use the jewelry they gave me so I wasted my time and money. I walked into Eastside Electric with only 1 small inner wrist tattoo on my body earlier this year. A few months later, I came out with 2 more awesome tattoos that I will treasure and excitedly show off for the rest of my life. Initially, I scheduled a large inner calf/cankle piece to memorialize the beginning of my mindfulness meditation process. It needed to be outer space themed to suit my purposes, so I went looking all over the area for a good artist with the appropriate portfolio. Conor didn't have any pieces in his albums that were quite like what I had in mind, but I was so impressed with his other work, and I loved his style enough to book with him anyway. I am so glad that I did! He came up with an end design that was even better than my original idea, and he made the colors of my larger leg piece really pop with extra detail and texture. Every person I've ever shown it to reacts the exact same way: drop jaw amazement and immediate statements of envy. It serves as my meditation mandala both in my mind visually and as a physical reminder on my person just in case I lose my balance in life, and I will cherish it always. The second tattoo I got with Conor was a much smaller, simpler, musically inspired piece that I wanted as yet another mental health reminder to myself. It's a treble and bass clef hybrid with a semicolon rather than the musically correct colon that should be there instead. It's in solidarity with the semicolon tattoo movement and is meant to remind me that listening to and creating music has been and will always be one of my go-to coping strategies when life gets tough. While it may not be as obviously beautiful and awe-inspiring as my larger, astronomy inspired piece it is just as precious to me. While I haven't booked with her yet personally, I watched Tai-Li tattoo some amazing creations on her clients when I came in for my tattoos and a touch-up, and I had a really REALLY hard time deciding who to book with initially between the two of them. I may just book with her for my next tattoo. That way Conor won't be the only artist represented on my body :P. On a more personal note, everyone who works at Eastside Electric is super friendly and cool. My 7yo daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and I wanted to get it done right so I researched local piercing shops and reached out to a few via email. Conor responded quickly and gave me the confidence that he knew what he was doing AND he was thoughtful enough to ask me to prep my daughter on what was going to happen. He was patient and answered all my questions (overprotective mama here!). When we arrived, we had a short wait (Conor is a popular guy!) and a great experience with the actual ear piercing. I was more nervous than my daughter! He had a ton of cute colored gem studs to choose from, and guarantees the jewelry. He told her what he was going to do beforehand, counted down for her, and did it quickly. She said it hurt less than getting a shot :) He went over the aftercare carefully, and his cleaning "kit" has been super helpful. Just a day later, my daughter says it doesn't hurt at all and there's no bleeding or even redness. Awesome experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their kids' ears pierced. I got a tattoo here 3 days ago, and it is beautiful! It's my first large tattoo and I was a bit nervous, I gave my idea to tai-li and she ran with it , making it look better than I had imagined! She gave me after care instructions that were different than other tattoo artists have given me before, and my tattoo ended up healing much faster than my previous ones!
