Best place for piercing and tattoos in the Seattle area. Go see Tai-Li! The vibe is super cool, amazing art, would not go anywhere else.

I got this tattoo in 2 pieces about a year apart. Healed great, hasn't needed a touch up. The shop is clean and professional. They're really good at explaining how to care for their services after the fact. Tai-Li is great!

Yellow Chanterelle (Cantherellis Cibarius). Very delicious.

I went in to get a fun, whimsical little Chanterelle mushroom on my leg. It is one of my favorite mushrooms, and I love its form. Natalie had this excellent cartoonish interpretation of a chanterelle. When she administered the tattooing, she paid close attention to detail with the shading. When I was in pain, she let me squish her stress ball and it helped. This little guy looks like he's dancing. I love it

I have gotten a tattoo retouch and piercing by Tai-Li and both experiences were phenomenal. She was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, but most importantly very professional. You can tell that she loves what she does and puts her customers' experience as her highest priority. Both times I was impressed with how hygienic everything was. I am excited to get my next tattoo with Tai-Li.

I have gotten all my tattoos here. The artists are knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to make sure that your tattoo is exactly what you want.

Astronomy inspired meditation mandala tattoo by Conor @ Eastside Electric Tattoo.

I walked into Eastside Electric with only 1 small inner wrist tattoo on my body earlier this year. A few months later, I came out with 2 more awesome tattoos that I will treasure and excitedly show off for the rest of my life. Initially, I scheduled a large inner calf/cankle piece to memorialize the beginning of my mindfulness meditation process. It needed to be outer space themed to suit my purposes, so I went looking all over the area for a good artist with the appropriate portfolio. Conor didn't have any pieces in his albums that were quite like what I had in mind, but I was so impressed with his other work, and I loved his style enough to book with him anyway. I am so glad that I did! He came up with an end design that was even better than my original idea, and he made the colors of my larger leg piece really pop with extra detail and texture. Every person I've ever shown it to reacts the exact same way: drop jaw amazement and immediate statements of envy. It serves as my meditation mandala both in my mind visually and as a physical reminder on my person just in case I lose my balance in life, and I will cherish it always. The second tattoo I got with Conor was a much smaller, simpler, musically inspired piece that I wanted as yet another mental health reminder to myself. It's a treble and bass clef hybrid with a semicolon rather than the musically correct colon that should be there instead. It's in solidarity with the semicolon tattoo movement and is meant to remind me that listening to and creating music has been and will always be one of my go-to coping strategies when life gets tough. While it may not be as obviously beautiful and awe-inspiring as my larger, astronomy inspired piece it is just as precious to me. While I haven't booked with her yet personally, I watched Tai-Li tattoo some amazing creations on her clients when I came in for my tattoos and a touch-up, and I had a really REALLY hard time deciding who to book with initially between the two of them. I may just book with her for my next tattoo. That way Conor won't be the only artist represented on my body :P. On a more personal note, everyone who works at Eastside Electric is super friendly and cool. You will have a relaxed and enjoyable tattooing experience filled with good conversation and music from Eastside's awesome parlor playlist.

I went in to get a Japanese wave tattoo and Tai-Li was absolutely phenomenal. Her attention to detail and her skills are second to none. She definitely exceeded all my expectations and made it a very pleasant experience. She was so easy to talk to for a few hours. Everyone there is so friendly and they create such a positive and professional environment. I couldn't be happier and will definitely be going back to Tai-Li for more work. Thank you!!

Conor is an amazing artist. I have been going to him for many years. My ink is all about my travel and love of birds from around the world. Conor nails the color, the dimension and the artistic life of the drawing. We consult through photography, art and other imagery. I will never go anywhere else. Oh and his piercing services are the best. I just had a daith piercing that is healing well. Pain level was zero. Yes zero!

My husband got his first tattoo! Everyone in EET was friendly! I am so happy with the staff and our great tattoo artist Tai-Li! We will for sure be back for more great artwork! My husband had two crowns done(one for his mother and one for his father) and underneath his parents signatures. Tai-Li had already drawn up the sketches but after letting her know what he had in mind she made something up in less that 10 minuets. It was more than we had expected! She is truly a great artist! I'm so thankful that she made everything a breeze! We are very happy with EET! Thank you guys!

During that time I've never actually written a review before, but my recent sessions with Tim Bradley (aka Mean Ole Tim) at the Wallingford location deserve one. Tim has been an absolute standout. He's not just a skilled tattooer -- he's an artist and professional in the truest sense. His ability to translate an idea into something that feels both deeply personal and beautifully cohesive is unreal. He recently completed a full torso panel of my German shepherd, Stryder, in an Irezumi-inspired style, as well as two custom hand pieces -- and every step of the process was collaborative, thoughtful, and executed with precision. What I appreciate most is Tim's mix of humility, humor, and quiet confidence. He listens, gives honest feedback, and works with a level of care that shows in every line and aspect of the piece. The end result isn't just cool ink -- it's art that carries weight, intention, and soul. After nearly a decade with STTN, I can say this has been one of my best experiences yet. If you're looking for someone who genuinely gives a damn about both the craft and the client, Tim's your guy.

The walls are covered with flash art and we both chose pieces that were on their walls & in their flash books. I loved the music they had playing and the overall ambience of the place. The bathroom was clean & also well decorated. This entire place is very clean & well-organized. We were both tattooed by their apprentice Hannah. She's only been tattooing for 2 years and it is very evident that she has a very bright & fruitful future ahead of her! Aside from her tattoo skill, she is super nice, has great energy, and a great conversationalist! At no point during our time did I feel awkward or uncomfortable (which I tend to feel sometimes in social situations). She placed both of our stencils perfectly on the first attempt and made sure we were 100000% satisfied with it before starting the process. Before starting my tattoo, I told her about my nearly non-existent pain tolerance and advised her of what my tattoo safe word was lol. She is not heavy handed (no shade to artists that are heavy handed) and ensured to check-in with my husband & I periodically throughout the process to make sure we were both still doing okay. I've been very skeptical about getting a lady's face on my body since I've seen many botched faces but Hannah gave me the prettiest & cutest face I could've asked for! I've also seen plenty of botched American traditional eagle pieces and to say she NAILED IT is simply an understatement. My husband & I were both done in 4 hours and the price was extremely fair. We have already determined that we will be returning to her for our upcoming anniversary tattoos. Also, after the tattoo, Hannah offered us hot compresses. I've gotten tattooed at plenty of places in the past and have never had a hot compress. Let me tell you!!! The hot compress was life changing and felt like a nice warm hug on your tattoo. She informed us that it helped with the swelling & healing process and I can definitely tell a difference! I will never decline a hot compress moving forward haha. When we were there, we got to meet the other artist Andrew, who is also Hannah's mentor. He had great vibes & was a great conversationalist as well. We got to see his finished piece on someone else and it was DOPE! When we were done with our tattoos, she had Andrew look at both of them and received his seal of approval. If you have a chance to swing by Mammoth and get tattooed by either one of them, you will not regret it!

I've had a few ideas of how I want tattoos to look and Andrew always gets the vision right on the first try. Andrew tends to be very available and is very speedy. I'm normally in and out within 30-45 min max. The pricing is also super reasonable. The vibe of the studio is great. The artists love to have fun and joke around with their clients and one another. The building itself is a tad space restricted but they always find a way to make room. Definitely check out Andrew at Mammoth for your next tattoo!

Once inside, I was able to select a bracelet I liked and was happy with how it looked, and the person who helped me was great. I was pleased with the experience and interaction, and super happy with the way the bracelet looked...but it wasn't permanent or even close. It didn't even last six months and it cost more than the first bracelet I had (which, by the way, I have now had on my wrist for 2.5 years). I reached out to the studio to ask about getting it re-attached and no one ever responded. I have since gotten another bracelet elsewhere but was thinking about my experience from years ago here and was so disappointed by their poor workmanship and customer service that I felt I needed to share.
