One night recently, we were backing into a parking space at a local grocery store that had ornamental trees planted in divider strips lined all across the parking lot. We felt a small nudge, got out, and part of the rear liftgate panel got dinged down to the metal. We shopped around locally a bit, and it soon became apparent that Carroceria Collision was the best solution to fix this damage. (You know how careful you are when you first get a "new" vehicle, and how upset you are when it gets dinged, right?) They provided 2 estimates: one to remove and paint the said panel, the other to tape out and paint the said panel. We brought the car back, and they explained exactly how they'd do the second option (saving us $400), and boy, when we dropped off the RAV for the work and picked it up, it looked totally perfect again. Sure there could be cheaper shops out there, however if you are looking for quality, high standard, Barsotti's is the place to be. The two employees I interacted with, Manny and Vanessa, have always been great. For example, Manny is the technician that has worked on prepping my full carbon fiber wing and has done an amazing job each time. In fact, Manny always goes above and beyond and even texted me with updates / pictures throughout the process. Never have I seen a technician do that. The people I've dealt with have always been courteous and nice, which I appreciate. However, my overall experience has been frustrating due to the length of time my vehicle has spent in the shop, communication issues, and problems with the repairs. My first repair took approximately 4 1/2 months to complete. During a later repair, my vehicle was returned with an unfinished component underneath the front of the car, causing my tire to rub against it for nearly a year. Most recently, my vehicle was in the shop for about five weeks. Communication was also a challenge. I frequently had to contact the shop myself for updates, and I was often told the vehicle would be ready in a few days or the following week, only for the completion date to be pushed back repeatedly. I understand that delays can happen, but after three separate experiences, I expected more proactive communication, better quality control, and more reasonable turnaround times. I returned because of the shop's positive reviews and Range Rover certification, but after three separate repair experiences, I no longer feel confident that the repair timelines and quality control justify the inconvenience.

I wanted to leave a fair and honest review of my experience because there were definitely some…read morepositives, but also some issues that were disappointing given the level of service I was expecting. I recently purchased a new luxury vehicle that had a strange odor--somewhere between the typical new-car smell and a cleaning product. I had used another detailer in the past, but this shop came highly recommended by several friends in the automotive industry, so I felt confident giving them a try. Booking was easy, and the staff I interacted with were friendly. I was told the detail manager could speak with me when I dropped the car off, which I appreciated because I wanted to make sure the proper care was being taken with a luxury vehicle. They kept the car for about 24 hours so they could complete the detail and ozone treatment. The car was ready on time, and I have to give them a lot of credit for the ozone treatment--the odor was completely gone. The fabric was also cleaned very well. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the rest of the detail that kept the experience from feeling like the high-end service I was expecting. There was still noticeable dust in various areas, some dirt that had been missed around the trunk and door trim, fingerprints on the stainless-steel surfaces, and some visible spray spots from the cleaner. I also noticed areas where the surfaces appeared to have been wiped down but not thoroughly detailed, particularly in the smaller nooks and crannies. For me, those are the little things that make the difference between a basic cleaning and a truly detailed job. The leather also had a somewhat uneven/splotchy appearance after the conditioning. I actually appreciate the more matte finish they use rather than a shiny one, but I would expect the finish to be very uniform throughout the vehicle. There was also an issue with my steering wheel that was particularly frustrating. When I got home and inspected the car, I noticed a small gash that I had not seen prior to dropping the vehicle off. The shop had taken photos shortly after I dropped the car off, and the imperfection was visible in those photos, so there isn't really a way to definitively establish when or how it happened. I had photos from the previous day showing the steering wheel without the damage, but unfortunately I did not take photos immediately at drop-off. My advice to anyone having their car detailed--especially a newer or luxury vehicle--is to take detailed photos of the interior and exterior immediately before handing over your car. It can save you from being in a difficult he-said/she-said situation. I will say that when I contacted the shop, I was understandably pretty frustrated. Dropping off a new vehicle for 24 hours at a highly recommended detailing business, you expect to pick it up and feel completely confident that it was in good hands. I also expected the detail to be done thoroughly the first time. That said, the staff were responsive, apologized for my experience, and ultimately did not charge me for the detailing service, which I do appreciate. My only additional disappointment was that the resolution felt somewhat transactional. Given the issues I had experienced, I would have appreciated a little more effort to make sure I felt heard and comfortable with the outcome, rather than feeling like the car was simply handed back and the interaction was over. We also had our older vehicle detailed there the following day. Again, the fabric cleaning was excellent, there was no damage, and the staff was responsive. However, I noticed some of the same issues with the hard surfaces and attention to smaller details. Overall, I think this is a nice facility with friendly staff, and they clearly do a very good job with odor removal and fabric cleaning. For me, though, the attention to detail on the hard surfaces and the overall finishing touches did not meet my expectations for a professional detail--particularly on a new luxury vehicle. I also felt that, given how disappointed I was, there could have been a little more effort to make sure I left feeling good about the experience. Would I use them again? Probably not for a standard detail. If I had a significant odor issue, however, I would absolutely consider them for the ozone treatment because that part of the service was excellent. I hope this review is helpful to the business and to future customers. My intention isn't to be unfair or overly critical--just to give an honest account of my experience and the expectations I had going in.
