Service manager Jim is completely and utterly useless. Mechanics and owner are fantastic, sadly letting a service manager destroy their reputation. Made an appointment four weeks in advance for a transmission replacement and he said it was ordered and would be on its way no problem, and he either never ordered it or was so ignorant he never checked up to make sure it was on its way and ended up costing my wife's business almost 7500 dollars in lost business during the extra time the truck was down. When confronted with it his exact words were "not my fault, I don't make the parts". I have been bringing vehicles here for a few years and used to recommend Them to everyone. Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever be back after multiple recent major issues. Hopefully anyone reading this will look elsewhere for work. read more

DO NOT under any circumstances take your car here. In November 2019, I had AAA tow my Prius to this shop after a popped tire and damaged bumper. On Monday, I asked them for an estimate. I told them I couldn't pick it up until Wednesday because of work but would be there then. I even showed up Tuesday--only to find out they had already SOLD my car to Cream's in Santa Rosa. They sold my vehicle without the title. I still have the title in my possession to this day. I never gave permission for them to sell it. The car was not totaled--it only needed a tire and the bumper put back on. At the time, the car was worth about $6,500. Instead, they took advantage of me as a 20-year-old, declared it totaled, and got rid of it illegally. This was theft, plain and simple. I've since heard other horror stories about this shop from people around Novato. Save yourself the nightmare--do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to risk having it stolen or tampered with. read more

Each and every time I've taken in my vehicle, they are not only SUPER kind but very thoughtful too. The car rental is right around the corner , and one busy weekend, the place didn't have a vehicle straight away , and Kevin , the manger quickly offered up their loaner. They just really go above and beyond in my opinion, which is why I return to them for most of my vehicles needs. Our car broke down on high way near Point Reyes lighthouse at night around 9:00pm. Called AAA directly, and CHP helped to call AAA, but after two hours waiting and CHP found that AAA has not even found a towing company yet. So CHP helped to call Nave Motors. Within 1 hour, Tom arrived and he immediately towed the car to Nave Motors. On the way riding to shop, Tom suggensted that I check on the warranty with Dealer, which I will not do since I thought the car was out of warranty. Upon checking with Dealer, I found the car was covered under warranty! Thanks Tom for the guidance in this! Jim watched out the car while the car is around the shop. I called AAA again to get the car towed to my home town for repair. The AAA tow truck arrived and stated that my car was not covered with the tow policy! Matt come to the rescue here again. He phoned the AAA supervisor and justify that my car is personal camper van and should be covered under my premier membership. In the end, AAA towed the car back to my home town, saving me $800. Thanks Matt! While waiting to get the car towed, I talked to other customers of Nave, and Sandy, a long time customer, highly recommend Nave for car services. I would recommend Nave to anyone. I took my newer Lexus to Nave Motors and Kevin greeted me with a warm smile and hello. He was friendly and very thorough with quotes and I needed each side of my Lexus repaired. He gave me 2 quotes one for each side of the car as it was 2 separate incidents. I was so pleased and asked when my I bring in my car for repairs, and asked if I could bring it in tomorrow. What an amazing experience I had at Nave Motors. I hit a median which threw my alignment out and ruined 2 tires. My insurance provider had a tow truck, repair location and rental car for me within 15 minutes, which was great, but the repair shop couldn't get to my car for 2 weeks and the car rental facility didn't have cars for 3 days. The tow truck was from Nave Motors, and the tow truck driver checked with Kevin at Nave and they were able to take my car in right away. Since this was a Friday, and there were no cars available until Monday, Nave gave me a loaner car until Monday! Everyone at Nave Motors was professional, attentive and friendly!! I had body damage to my 2022 Volvo XC60...It's a beautiful vehicle in excellent condition (other than the superficial damage to the body of course) and I took a risk because this isn't a super fancy Marin high-end car body shop. I was swayed because of all the very positive reviews. I have zero regrets. Kevin Pasayes was a total professional. He was friendly, clear in explaining the work, and did everything he promised including have the car ready in the two week timeframe he estimated. The car looks awesome. There was a minor imperfection which he saw when I pointed it out at the time I went to pick up my vehicle. There was absolutely no hesitation on his part and he had it fixed for me within 40 minutes. It looks perfect. He also loaned me a free vehicle for the two weeks of repair. Though it was a far cry from my Volvo, I didn't mind darting around in the little Nissan. It was a very basic car that reminded me to be grateful for the free loaner and also for my awesome Volvo. These people lied to me and told me that my truck needed a new motor or else it wouldn't pass smog. This was after being charged almost $500 for a smog test and simple compression test. I got a second opinion from a different shop and it turns out I did not need a new engine at all, just a new carburetor. Wow, Nave motors almost took me for a ride. I had asked them if the reason for my truck running rough could be the carburetor and they insisted it wasn't.
