We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and tried to avoid the in-house food as much as possible. This pizza joint is 10 minutes away and the food was excellent! I called around 6:45 knowing they close at 7:00 on Sundays and they graciously still took my order. I hauled @ss to get there and was paying when the pies came out of the oven. They have a cheesy garlic bread on what looks like a hoagie roll- it was hard to tell because I ate most of it in the car on the drive back to my hotel. The kids loved the smaller pepperoni- it's the thin kind that cups up and gets a little crunchy when it bakes. The crust was soft and chewy at the same time, not tough and slightly buttery. Super glad we got to try this and we'll come back for seconds next time we go to the GWL. That place is pretty fun so I'm sure we'll be back soon. read more

After moving here from Stockton over 20 years ago I can say we finally have good, legit quality pizza in Manteca at Ferroni's. It's in the conversation with the other "New York Style" offerings from Michaels, David's, Erics and Ricks Pizza here in the valley. We needed a break from GWL, and found Ferroni's on Yelp. We placed our order online, which was really easy, and it was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived in 20 minutes, and unfortunately, our pizzas weren't ready for another 20. Ordinarily, that would be the start of a really bad review, but everything else was excellent. The staff was apologetic, and very friendly. They have a high chair, which is very helpful with a 2 year old. The pizzas were outstanding: huge, and absolutely loaded with fresh ingredients. Our family of 5 was stuffed and had plenty of leftovers with 2 large pizzas. If we are back in Manteca we know where to get our pizza. read more

We usually go to Pizza plus or Gold Dust Pizza as some people know it in Ripon, which is our number one absolute Favorite pizza place in town, however, this is up there with pizza plus it is so delicious. The crust is delicious. The toppings are delicious. It's just a really really good pizza. We highly recommend it. The ranch is delicious too. We always get the cup pepperoni and pineapple and pepperoni or sausage and mushroom. All of those have been great. I do not recommend getting bacon and pineapple if you like that combination because it's whole pieces of bacon strips across the pizza which is kind of weird so you don't get bacon in every bite but everything else has been fabulous! read more

The pricing was actually good for not having any coupons or discounts and the large size pizza was actually a good sized large for 4 adults. The cashier was very good and efficient, along with the fact that the pizza was ready on time. People were right about the toppings too! They are generous, so if that's something you like definitely give them a try! But, my favorite part was the flavor of the crust/bread. Got there first red flag seen the pizza being made with sliced cheese. Never seen that before. Ordered a garlic chicken pesto large. It hard hardly any chicken maybe one piece per slice it had no flavor. Substituted olives for tomato had way to many olives. Husband can't eat tomato. The center was soggy . Couldn't taste garlic at all and pesto was overpowering. Total waste of 35.00 for a pizza way overrated. Won't be back all the great reviews for what. It ain't all that.
