I've ordered it for delivery a couple times as well as got in there and ordered it. While due to where I live on the opposite side of town from the establishment, my pizza has come colder than I would like. But that's on me. I should go pick it up because each time I picked it up. It has been even better than when it's delivered. I recommend this place and has a great crust great generous toppings. It's such a good pizza. Hopefully they open a second location on the opposite side of town. And the owners are really good people. read more

Probably some of the best customer service that I have had in a really long time. The lady that took my order was so sweet and helpful. The pizza , I order a build your own personal size and that thing was cooked to perfection. Dough was soft with a light crunch and the combo of toppings was perfect. There are some tables & chairs but this is more a to go place with a couple of unique spins. Sample included: - 4-wings: similar to Safeways - Mozzarella Sticks: Frozen variety - Smoked rib-tips: the Hubbs loved them, very tender and smokey Added a garlic cheesy bread that had loads of butter & cheese along with a side of marinara that was very flavorful. This was our first time to Maverick's pizza, we thought it was amazing! We ordered and picked up, the restaurant itself is a little on the smaller side for eating in. We ordered a large, half pepperoni, half queen bee, a cheesy jalapeño bread and the rib tips. Everything was absolutely delicious!! There was nothing at all that was bad or so so. I ordered mavericks yesterday to give it a try and was disappointed just like every other pizza place in Manteca. The pizza arrived cold, had almost no sauce, and was seriously lacking in flavor, pretty much a bland crust with some cheese. I think little Caesars even has more flavor. The Parmesan garlic wings were okay, with decent sauce, but they were also cold, which took away from the experience. To top it off, the 2-liter Coke was completely flat and warm, like it had been sitting out for hours. Wont be ordering again and will continue driving out to Ripon to Gold Dust pizza. read more

Popped in last night for the first time, based on Yelp reviews. Small place, mostly for takeout. Two young people were friendly, helpful, and speedy. We ordered the family deal for around $50 which included appetizer, big salad, large combo pizza, and a dessert 'pie'. The mozzarella sticks and salad were pretty basic, but fresh and good. The pizza was very good and crust great. Next time we will order it to be a little more done per our liking. The dessert was a nice little treat. We like trying different restaurants and Maverick's Pizza came up. Just a few doors down from our family Mexican joint, La Playa, Maverick's has a reputation for good service and a nice pie. Both counts are true. The crust was on par with the local chain, but had a crunch to it like a cracker type. Toppings were balanced and it was a fun experience with Mary, who worked there.
