We havent been to this store in some time now. Prices seem to have come down even lower than the one in Mauston. Will be going back.

Much like my first trip in Mauston, the manager was on the floor and interacting with customers.

Prices are getting higher but I don't have a problem going here for boxed/canned items or gifts as they are still more reasonable, and it's typically a one-stop shop for everything but produce. Pros? It's has nearly everything in one go. The outdoor pickup is fast if you're unable to bring your little ones inside or don't have time to walk through the store. I've also ordered same-day delivery through the website on days where I couldn't leave, so that's a decent bonus. You can grab some nice birthday or Christmas gifts for a relatively reasonable price. The bakery has a generous amount of custom cakes for events or parties that you can order online (or in-store) for pickup. The people working the aisles have been friendly. Cons? They recently redid the aisle numbers and some if them don't make much sense in terms of positioning, even the employees seemed confused. They could improve their stock during the holidays for sure, it should be obvious what products to keep more of, especially common things like Legos, electronics etc. I can give some of the employees (except management) some grace, as their staff turnover rate is so high that they aren't properly trained but customer service has been okay. I think one of their biggest issues is the checkout lines; they are incredibly long and this hasn't improved. Walmart now had dozens of self check-out as a way to solve their staffing shortage but it is definitely an inconvenience to the customer. Things to avoid: I would recommend buying baby puree and boxed foods elsewhere for pricing (ie. Aldi). Last, this is not where you want to purchase produce, it's low-tier quality so I plan accordingly. All in all, they save me money on boxed items and gifts and for now, that's good enough for me if I have the time to roam the city that is Walmart. Stop at Festival for those green peppers or apples.

I've never had great experience with their produce though, it usually goes bad within two days. They have a nice aisle that changes weekly with items you can use for home or gifts! Nice feature. The aisles are narrow so it can make for some traffic jams but otherwise they keep the store pretty clean and bright! This Aldi has a decent amount of private parking. There's both self checkout and regular lines. Bring a quarter to be able to use their carts! Everything is "bag yourself" (bring your own, or you can buy Aldi bags) at the end of your purchase. I've also had some friends order online and have them bring it to your car, I think they charge 10 cents an item. All-in-all, great medium-sized grocery store. I'd stop in for general groceries and pop over to Festival Foods a block away for produce!

I appreciated that they had four self check outs for card paying customers!! I also hoped to use the restroom. It was right up front & well marked so I didn't have to hunt it down. It says a lot about variety of products and many different health issues they aide. Fantastic place for vitamins or teas. When I was pregnant they had plenty of options for supplements that really helped, and the staff member was very knowledgeable and great in assisting which products might be beneficial. They also have quality foods, including refrigerated items, that a lot of vegans say good things about. The spacey new store layout is very airy and products well-labeled. Extremely well- lit with natural sunlight. The only downside is the street parking and it being a little too pricey to visit on a regular basis (at least for myself). That aside, still great for quality specialty items. Stop in and check it out for yourself.

Relaxed and clean environment. John whom I believe either owns the store or manages it was engaging and welcoming. I let him know I was fairly new to the area and he was helpful in giving me the information I asked for regarding natural health care providers in the area. Three years outside of the Covid scare we can see how a lot of the mandates that were put in place by the professionals were not necessary nor helpful. The past negative reviews for this place are made based on those individual's beliefs in regards to masking. It is their free choice just as it was/is the free choice of the individuals of this business. It's irresponsible to review a place based on your beliefs on masking rather than reviewing them based of the goods and services they offer. This place is all about actual healthcare not politically fueled "healthcare".

I noticed a tasting area but was told the only one available for tasting was the rhubarb. Shame I couldn't try the more traditional ones as I don't tend to buy a case without confirming it's good first. The employee also was kind of unfriendly but not to the point of rude. Just didn't seem to want anybody there shopping. The apples, apple cider donuts and apple cider were all delicious. We just stopped in to get apples and treats but they also have apple picking in their orchards across the way, lunch (brats truck) on their back deck, farm animals, and a beautiful back lawn to enjoy a picnic. Ski Hi has something for everyone including kids. I think they have the best caramel apples! Their apple cider donuts are amazing as well. They have many treats to choose from including apple turnovers, apple pies, apple cider, etc. They also have a wide variety of apples you can either pick or buy by the bag. My favs are the macintosh. They have multiple check out areas around their retail space so the lines move quickly. I regret not getting a tshirt, they are so cute. There's lots to see in their retail space, it's always fun to look at everything. After you get your purchases I recommend eating your caramel apple on a picnic bench on their lawn space. Beautiful views! Highly recommend!

This happened. Anyplace you can buy gas, toothbrushes, candy, toy cars and monkey butt is a winner…read more (I didn't buy the monkey butt- I laughed REALLY hard). It all started when the three year old child of my friends asked me about the "Chuck Store" Moi: "What is a 'Truck Store'?" Kid: "CHUCK, it is the bestest store ever in the whole world with candy!" Moi: "Do they have a toothbrush? He forgot to pack a toothbrush..." Kid: "Duh. They have EVERYTHING, and candy too." Indeed. Naturally, I had to see this marvel. And the kid tells no lies- this is part gas station, part old-timey general store, part hardware store, gardening center, liquor store, candy emporium and drugstore- that is a whole lotta hats, but the lady working the counter was clearly a pro able to direct me to candy and toothbrushes with ease. For the kid, a combo of monster truck toy car and lolly pop that took two days of effort to eat ($1.29, pictured with all it's awesome glory). That car is miraculously still intact. Have you played with a three year old? I'm surprised I am intact, kid is relentless and makes my hyperactive energy look tame. Awesome. For me to keep up, a Starbucks double shot chugged at light-speed and the priceless shot of Lady Monkeybutt- which I cannot believe is a real product and had me laughing hysterically as much as the three year old. Maybe more. I didn't know places like this existed anymore, but am glad they do.
