Wonderful ambience - fast, friendly service - quality ingredients with quite a few delicious options among salads, sandwiches and pastas If I were local it'd be a tough place to avoid

This is a cool little place on the square in Baraboo. My family has been coming to this place for years. They have spacious booth seating or seats at the two counters. The staff was friendly and attentive. Eric was great. The pesto chicken sandwich had great flavor. My wife enjoyed her blackened ahi tuna sandwich and my daughter enjoyed her mac and cheese. We will definitely be back when we are back in the area. Check them out!

We took a short detour off the freeway to head to Baraboo for lunch. I found this cute cafe. We were both looking for a fountain soda but their machine was being worked on so I opted for a nice Sauvignon blanc and husband had a bottle of coke. I chose the Greek salad for my meal. It was so good. Fresh veggies was accompanied with bread and a scoop of hummus. So good. Service was good. The place was packed even at 2:30 for lunch. Great experience.

On our recent visit to Baraboo, we had lunch at Littlw Village Cafe and found this place to be delicious and a blast from the past. The diner vibes are impeccable and you really can't go wrong with most things on the menu.

Lovely little cafe on the square in downtown Baraboo. Very pleasant staff and fun friendly vibe with the locals. Food was excellent! The soup was delicious homemade squash, highly recommend this place!

This place is so cute and the food, owners and desserts are wonderful. This has become our new go to place when we go skiing at Cascade. My husband and I have eaten here 4 times, and we have been very pleased with their specials and appetizers. I have to admit we've had the same exact dessert every time, because it's so good and it's not too heavy. We've had the lemon poppyseed cake that's warmed up in the grill, topped with mixed berries, and very rich homemade whipped cream (not from a can). I think we're going to have to make plans to come here in the summer because we enjoy the atmosphere of the place, it's amazing.

    Chocolate torte for 75th!

We ordered a fabulous chocolate torte for a birthday celebration. It was exceptionally good and irresistible. A hidden gem!

    Very nostalgic decor

It was not busy when we arrived for an early dinner, and most of the staff congregated in and around a booth under a TV. You want a refill, more napkins, some parm & red pepper flakes for your pizza, or for dishes to be cleared away? Just look towards that TV and pray your server emerges. If there was a manager, I'd guess that's where they were hiding too. We ordered a hodge-podge of things since this would be our only chance to visit: spicy Hawaiian pizza, quesabirria, lamb lollipops, and charred carrots. The lamb and the quesabirria were the obvious standouts. Leagues above the other two items. They had so much flavor and were a delight to eat. The pizza did not taste like it came out of a wood-fired oven and was very heavy on the cheese (and that's saying something, coming from a couple of Wisconsinites). The carrots were nowhere near charred; the chunks were all vastly different sizes so not all of them were cooked, and they desperately needed that caramelization for depth of flavor.

I'm not sure when this place was built, but everything felt clean & new and the seating was very comfortable. The menu had a nice variety of entrees, but we were definitely disappointed that they don't offer an appetizer selection for lunch. My husband ordered the jalapeño chicken flatbread and I went with the roasted vegetable risotto with grilled chicken. We both really enjoyed our dishes and did share so we didn't have food envy. It was really kind of them to offer us a complimentary dessert when they found out today was our 25th wedding anniversary; we selected the bread pudding and it was delicious!! Other than not having apps available on the lunch menu, our only other gripe was that it took forever to get our bill and pay.

The hours are very minimal so we want to make sure we got there early. We didn't know how busy this place would be but we came in mid-afternoon and the menu was absolutely appetizing from what they offered I was immediately interested in their sweet and savory barbecue sandwich. My wife got a soup, the staff was very nice in accommodating and professional throughout the entire visit. They checked in on us and make sure we had water, they engaged in conversation with us , and they take pride in their menu. They offered a Pay It Forward program which was pretty cool to see and they even sell some books too. The food here is also very well priced and affordable. Our meals were absolutely delicious and it filled us up for the rest of the day. This place offered a really clean restrooms and his restaurant was really clean.
