    Fried Pickles and Margarita
    Jessica S.

My bf and I went here when visiting from out of town and the place was packed when we arrived. Originally, we were quoted about a 40 minute wait, but luckily a table opened up and we were seated within ten minutes. Our waitress greeted us promptly and answered any questions that we had about the menu items. While the restaurant was very busy, it was surprisingly not that loud, which I appreciated and my bf and I were able to hold a conversation without having to yell at one another. This is definitely a family-friendly restaurant but they do have a bar area too which is nice if you wanted a possible older atmosphere. I had two margaritas which were both good and the fried pickles were very good for an appetizer. To me the pizza hit the spot. When we order meat lover's pizza, I like it with a lot of meat and this definitely had that. Our waitress checked on us often, even though the restaurant was busy and I definitely appreciated the good service. I enjoyed our meal and service here and would definitely go back if I was in town.

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed the $10 lunch special. The pizza was fresh, made to order, and delicious.

Always great atmosphere, great food and service. I would come here every day if possible just to have pizza and appetizers. Very casual and friendly patrons come here. Some even make you feel like they have known you forever. I would recommend this place. Great vibes and friendly service.

This place is a total trip down memory lane! The food tastes exactly like old-school Pizza Hut I'd bet money they have the original recipes. The only thing missing was the buffet and salad bar. It's an incredibly family-friendly spot with top-notch service; despite a busy Saturday night, our waitress didn't miss a beat. While it might not be the "best" pizza in the world, it is a must visit if you're craving that nostalgic Pizza Hut flavor. We had drinks, fried pickles, and a large meat lovers pizza for under $50. I'll definitely be back to try the wings next time they looked amazing, and the waiter said it's one of the top sellers. I will say the place is a bit old feeling, but it was clean and well ran, props the the staff and great food.

Lunch special pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon

A few days ago, I drove by Spanky's on my way to a litter clean-up, and it stuck in my mind. So when someone suggested meeting for lunch on the East End, I figured it was the perfect chance to give it a try. I went for their $9 lunch special and chose a pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. The portion was a great size--not too big but definitely satisfying. It reminded me a bit of the frozen pizzas I used to eat as a kid in terms of size, but the quality and taste were on another level. The toppings were flavorful, and the crust had just the right crunch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure my water glass stayed full, which I really appreciated. If you're in the East End looking for a casual lunch spot with a great deal and friendly service, Spanky's is worth a visit!

I got the gluten free Italian pizza and it was the best I've had in a while! I'm so excited to come again. The food came fast even though they were busy

Let me start by saying this is my favorite Pizza place in Houston and it's not even close! Pizza always comes out delivious and piping hot. Not too many places do a deep dish pizza well and Spanky's hits the nail on the head. Things can get a little tricky with the service in particular the seating hostesses. There has been more than once I have waited while being completely forgotten in the queue for seating. I have had good experiences with the servers once seated. Also they could turn the temp up just a lil' bit its usually an ice box in there so bring a sweater along.

I order from here a lot more than I'd like to admit ha. Pizza and food is always consistent I'm from NYC and this is one of my favorite pizza spots in Houston for sure !

It's been a while but love this location. Like that they have TVs with sports on and the food is decent.

I asked for it to be cooked a bit longer because i like really crispy edges. Good bread to topping ratio. You can tell the toppings arent just run of the mill stuff you put on top. The pizza was flavorful, the ricotta was creamy and gave a good cut through with the fatty meats on the pizza. Wonderful job talespin. I need to come back for the breakfast for dinner pizza.

I wouldn't knock it and I will forsure come back.
