Overall been here twice and the coffee and outdoor seating area are great advantages to this place. In addition, the cinnamon roll had a great ratio of cinnamon to icing that made it sweet and savory! Would totally go back! read more

When I think fiddleheads I normally think coffee, for obvious reasons, but don't sleep on the rest of the menu! I stopped in the Shorewood location for the first time in awhile, and I was all coffeed-out for the day so I opted for an iced green-citrus tea. Wow, so refreshing! And not too sweet, which is always appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to order one of those again. I'm also fan of their food menu. They've got lots of breakfast and lunch sammies, plus kids options and baked goods. I opted for the roasted tomato turkey and it was tasty. Nicely toasted honey-oat bread with bacon, misitque turkey, tomato, lettuce and mayo. A classic combo that you can't go wrong with! Nice little salad on the side as well with fresh cucumber, carrots, and greens. Love their indoor and outdoor space too. Totally spacious, clean, and modern. read more

I find the crew that works here is always the best, and not just for Miwaukee, although this location suddenly recently lost one of my favorite baristas, one of the most hard working and resilient young adult I have met, and my field is higher education. A recent policy change makes visiting more tricky. They no longer serve brewed coffee after 2:30pm, serving only americanos. I get not wanting to waste a pot of coffee, although they are still open for 4 1/2 more hours, wish they would at least do a pour-over, as americanos are more expensive and to be honest, have way less taste. They are a little more than brown water. Fortunately I carry coffee packet sleeves that I add to give some coffee taste. It is the staff that keeps me returning. read more

Dropped in here for a quick bite of breakfast on a Tuesday morning and ordered the Toasted Avacado Croissant and Aztec Mocha. Items here are a bit pricey but of good quality. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich was flaky and buttery, and the Aztec Mocha was spicy and absolutely delicious! Nice, local coffee shop with a fun and seasonal menu (along with regular standard coffee shop finds such as a cappuccino and latte). The baristas are friendly and atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the drinks served. I happened to be there toward the end of the day and place offered me a free pastry that would have otherwise been tossed out that evening! We really enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches from here! The sauce on the bacon breakfast sandwich was very good! The service was alright and came out in a decent time. The drinks were very good. I had the banana bread latte and it tasted just like banana bread. The restaurant was not very clean though. The bathrooms and tables looked like they needed to be wiped down. I'm so glad fiddleheads opened up in Shorewood. There are about 5 different coffee shops within a mile but fiddleheads is my favorite. They have a delicious turkey and Gouda croissant sandwich on their breakfast menu. It has cranberry sauce on it and is thanksgiving in a bite. They also have delicious scones and muffins available. I generally get a chai and the husband gets cold brew. They have plenty of tables inside to sit at or outside with a fire pit for the cold days. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in MKE! The staff is always extremely friendly and they do a great job at crafting the drinks. This is also my favorite spot to sit and do homework since it has a nice and calm ambiance. I never write reviews but I feel passionately strong about how much I love Fiddleheads. read more

Snotty manager and slow crew that goofs off. Cute place though. Make sure you have enough time to wait forever for your order and come back to have it made properly. Then while they remake your stuff the manager can blame you for them making it wrong. Zero stars. read more

Lovely little addition to Shorewood's coffee shop scene. It's a great place to get work done, catch up on some reading, and maybe catch some rays on their patio during the summertime (or maybe gather around their fire pit during cooler weather).
