I was in the area for a wedding and needed some breakfast and foubd Copilot Cafe on Yelp. The coffee and breakfast bagel were excellent. Grear flavor and quality. I'll be back again someday soon!

Went here regularly as I was writing my dissertation - and then they closed and changed names. New name, new menu- and I'm so pleased. Good food- and they now serve Wonderstate Coffee! My favorite!

really enjoyed my visit! the atmosphere was nice and they pastries I got were phenomenal! I appreciate vegan options like the vegan chocolate chunk cookie. The employees were all very nice and I will definitely be visiting again! The iced coffee was also really good!

Got a hot chocolate today. It was more foam than hot chocolate. I have never had foam on any hot chocolate I've gotten from a coffee shop.

Lovely! ... and tasty and delish…read more Coffee is great. No burnt taste. Roasted on site. Hot or cold- lots of flavors to add...nice to go cups that don't feel like they're going to fall apart after sitting for a few minutes... Food was outstanding- we all loved what we had. I had the med breakfast sandwich- added roasted peppers and a slice of bacon. SO good. My gf added olives to hers- she said it made her sandwich. Also tried the European bkfst sandwich- and they loved that as well. The baguette was crunchy and enjoyable. Eggs were nicely cooked and a nice amount that you didn't feel like they skimped on the portion. So friendly- we had a large group and they put tables together for us and came to the table to take the order so we didn't have to stand in line to order. Cute shop to pick up some mugs, coffee or gifts. So sad it just took us so long to visit here.

The place is still as cute as ever, and the staff are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, their lattes come across more like warmed milk with foam on top. The temperature and flavor were good, but the texture below the foam was flat. Maybe I need to request extra frothy next time. I also had a chance to try one of their specialty pastries, the Fig Kurabiye. That was amazingly good. They warmed it up a bit, and it was moist and delicious. Like the best Fig Newton you'll ever have. Next time, I would definitely ask for an upgrade if ordering a latte.

The place is small, and nicely furnished, with some natural light coming through the front and rear entrances. The server was friendly and did a great job to answer my questions. (thanks Emily). This is not your typical coffee shop or cafe. There are some very interesting drinks and food items, that you will not find anywhere else. I typically get a hot Tea Latte (London Fog or Chai Latte), but they don't offer those. I was initially disappointed but I quickly got over it. I ended up getting the Creme Brulee Croissant, and a Ancient Brown Sugar Tea. Let's first talk about the Croissant, truly amazing. Like a Creme Brulee (which I love) it has a layer of caramelized sugar on top. The taste and texture was amazing. The Brown Sugar Tea, was very good, but very sweet. I skipped the boba part (tapioca pearls), but might try it next time. The place was quiet and cozy. Some other customers came in and were either working or having quiet conversations. Great environment to bring a book and read. I'll be back, and this time with a friend.

I stopped here on a recent visit to Wisconsin for a meal before my sister's wedding and I was not…read moredisappointed. It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

Rare is it that I go out for two meals in a day, and never before to the same restaurant for them!…read moreBut yesterday, we had to drop off my car for some repair work, so indulged in breakfast out at The Coop, a favorite. The food is always delicious, the service is truly impeccable with well trained, friendly servers, and it's very clean and homey. I had an egg special, and my choices included two (perfectly cooked) poached eggs, three crisp on the outside sausages, a well balanced fruit bowl with fresh pineapple, melons, and grapes, and a short stack of their light and fluffy pancakes. My husband had over easy eggs, bacon, pancakes and fruit, plus we both had The Coop's rich, deeply flavorful coffee. Everything was excellent and at a most affordable price. Fast forward several hours: my daughter and her young sons were in the area on an errand, so we met up and of course the boys were hungry, so as The Coop was, once again, very close, we went there. My daughter was very happy to see decidedly different menu options for kids' meals than the usual. Two of them had grilled cheese sandwiches with fruit cups, the third had a scrambled egg, sausage, a pancake and fruit, my daughter had French toast, and I had two cheeseburger sliders with fries. Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere, and they all want to go back. Two great experiences in one day!
