Chocolate peanut butter scone and psl

Coffee was tasty but could have been a little hotter in my opinion. Peanut butter chocolate scone was delicious but also could have been warmed up for a better experience. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Still a handful of people lingering half hour before closing. Lots of seating options. Enjoyed the fire pit outside.

Very cute little cafe that has delicious food and drinks. It's a bit expensive then I'd prefer, but the ambiance is great with a good mix of indoor and outdoor areas (couches, tables, bars, etc). Staff are really nice and goofy. It seems like it'd be a great study/meeting area. There's a little bit of parking as well. P.S. Pictures doesn't do it justice.

Nice location with a small outdoor dining patio on the River. Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Nicely renovated old style building. A definite good stop for a morning beverage.

A wonderful spot along the Milwaukee river for a coffee and a patio hang. The place has great vibes and a huge menu so looking forward to coming back soon to try more!

Love sitting out by the river enjoying a latte and muffin. The choco pumpkin muffin with oat flour was so good. Chai latte could use more spice, but it was okay.

Fiddleheads is a great local coffee shop. This review is specifically for the Mequon location, however the Shorewood location is also great! (Those are the only 2 I've personally been to). The Mequon locations has an abundance of seating between their indoor seating, their heated glass enclosure (that also opens up for the summer time) and their outdoor patio. Located right next to the river, it makes for a scenic morning cup of joe. Their black coffee has good flavor, but I am a big fan of their breve lattes. Both my fiancée and I also love their breakfast sandwiches when we feel like treating ourselves. It's slightly pricier for a latte than some of the other coffee shops, however the quality is worth it.

Whatever the little main street area of Thiensville might lack ever so slightly in the adorably charming factor (see: Cedarburg), in my mind it makes up for in convenience. Its slightly closer to get to from downtown, and the little yellow cottage with wraparound porch that houses the coffee shop is a block or so off the interurban trail. They have coffee and tea and all the drinks (lattes, chai, etc) one might expect. They also have smoothies, sandwiches (breakfast and otherwise) soups, baked goods, wraps, etc. Everything you might expect from a coffee shop. Theres outdoor seating on the little porch, as well as a number of tables and Adirondack chairs out back on a really beautiful patio facing the river. Inside its more like a little house, cottage-y like you'd find in a British mystery novel (or something). Staff has always been very pleasant and accommodating. A bike rack and parking lot are adjacent. The sign out front lists summer hours to 6:30 pm. I'm a fan - 4 stars.

The new patio addition to Fiddleheads looks awesome!

Sometimes perfection can be found in simplicity and that's just what this location has. Sitting by the river and enjoying a cup of their terrific coffee or one of their delicious sandwiches can make you forget you're right on Thiensville's Main St. but enjoying a seat in their quaint cafe during the cold months, which is most of them, can provide the same relaxation. And if that weren't enough, their new fire-place-heated patio, complete with garage doors on all three sides should do the trick.

First and last time coming here! Should have just gone to Collectivo like usual. The lady at the counter was rude, no one in line behind us and she rushed our order. I didn't even end up getting what I wanted because she didn't give us time :(. Cookie was dry and had been sitting out all day. She didn't let me sign my receipt and I'm suspicious she added an undeserved tip. I don't think this new remodel can mask the rudeness. Don't make the mistake I did- GO TO COLLECTIVO!!!

We couldn't even finish our crab cakes. I loved all the options it came with and the corn and seasoning were delicious. We also ended up taking advantage of the fish counter and got swordfish steak for dinner the next day and we liked the crab cakes so much we got more to bake at home. This will be a staple for us whether it's dinner at the restaurant or grabbing something at the fish counter to cook at home, which we have done multiple times now!

With a lot of variety and friendly service, this definitely is a great go-to place. My Mom and I came here for a light dinner and ordered the crab cake and mussels appetizers as our entrees. Thinking that wouldn't be enough food, we added the arugula beet salad. Everything came out pretty quickly, and the mussels portion and salad were enormous. Each dish was excellent. The mussels, a recommendation by our helpful server, were especially good - the mussels were cooked perfectly, without an unopened mussel in the bunch, and the white wine-garlic-fennel broth was seasoned well and had the classic flavor I was hoping for. The only miss was that the bread provided was only barely toasted and a little chewy. The salad was a wonderful surprise: dressed properly with a nice vinaigrette, it had toasted pepitas, creamy goat cheese, fennel, and beets that were not overly earthy. My Mom enjoyed her crab cakes, which had a bit of a spicy kick. I wanted a little dessert and chose their Door County cherry ice cream. I would strongly recommend leaving room for it. It had a fantastic, creamy texture, tasting homemade. The ice cream itself had a natural flavor of almonds with a hint of cherry, was studded with dark chocolate and cherry pieces, and topped with a cute fish-shaped cookie. One of the best ice creams I've had. Like the food portions, it came as three big scoops, so it's good for sharing. The atmosphere is casual and fun, though be prepared for a pretty high noise level when it's full - not from music, but from everyone having a great time with friends and family. I'd recommend getting a reservation, and they're conveniently on OpenTable.

It's not the best food I've ever had, but where else can you go to get a matzah ball like this? Food: The food is good, but I wouldn't call it spectacular. I usually order the chicken soup with matzah balls. For me, the soup itself has always been a bit blah, more like a very thin chicken broth. The matzah ball is really the star of the show. I also noticed what other people were eating, and the corned beef sandwich and potato pancakes looked very good. Most people cleaned their plates, which is always a good sign. Service: Service has always been very good. Quick and efficient is the name of the game here. I got a spot at the counter, seated between two other people. Menus, ordering, and the check all happened without much waiting. The servers are friendly, but always on the move. There's not much idle chatter. Atmosphere: The place feels worn, but clean. The large windows bring in lots of natural light. There is booth, table, and counter seating. They fit a lot of people into the space, but it doesn't feel overcrowded. With that many people, the noise level can get loud. Pro tip: The parking lot is small and shared with several other businesses. It's usually best to find a spot on the street.
