Since my first review, I've been back several times. Unfortunately, they no longer seem able to make a respectable latte. What you now get for a London Fog Tea Latte is a drink with some dry foam on top and warm, flat milk underneath. Because I know they used to make these correctly, I took my drink back and asked about it. Long story short, they have replaced their original machines with manual steam wands and switched to "new and improved" machines that use automatic steaming. You place the wand in the milk, push a button, and voilà... a cup of lifeless hot milk. Dry foam on top, little to no texture below. It's fast, and I can see how it works well for a drive-through model. But it's a real disappointment for anyone who appreciates a properly textured latte with that smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Even with these machines, better texture is possible, but it takes more time and attention. When speed becomes the priority, quality is usually what suffers. The one consolation is that their Coffee Cake Muffins are still amazing. read more

Everyone loves their coffee & muffins. I don't drink coffee so I have not tried. The atmosphere is cozy & comfortable & they have outdoor seating in summer. The breakfast skillets that I tried - both times - the sausage was undercooked. They have a drive thru and you walk up to order before seating yourself. read more

Outstanding coffee, I love the cute cozy wooden interior -- really perfect for a quick stop off the highway. Large parking lot and drive through. So, essentially this locale is ultra convenient no matter if you're in a time crunch or not. The baked goods and cookies are also fantastic. Heavy recommend if in the area. read more

Came to Jackson for an errand and wanted a quick lunch before the rest of the day. Coffeeville is perfect! The ambiance is warm and darling without too much kitsch. The food is excellent. We had the farmers breakfast sandwich and the roast beef hoagie. Homemade Italian wedding soup was tasty. Iced lattes needed nothing added. Only recommendation is to order from the counter if you want options on the food order because not all options are available at the kiosk. For example, I couldn't take off one of the meats on the farmer's sandwich. It was either no meat or both meats. Service was friendly. Place is super clean and it was busy when we were here and there was plenty of seating. read more

I have had a particular sandwich from this place in the back of my mind for years now and I have been waiting for the day when I was in the area so when I found my self in Slinger today I stopped by. My first impression was that this is a nice community gathering spot for some drinks and something to eat. The place has a small menu with different hoagies being the biggest food option. All kinds of baked goods with soups and salads and even breakfast options will satisfy most people. A friend of mine who is not a sandwich guy recommended that I get a sandwich and since I have been craving a craft sandwich that's what I got. I got the Valentine because it sounded good with all the ingredients. Ham, salami, capicollo, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, hot jalapeños, pepperoncini, red peppers, green peppers, oils, sauce and spices. I ordered the full that comes with a bag of chips and an apple muffin because it just looked so fuc%ing good. At first the sandwich didn't look like much but when I turned it sideways it was fantastic looking. The Valentine was very tasty and a great choice. The French bread was that great fresh kind with the slight chew/soft crust which just works well. All the ingredients made for a tasty sandwich with the jalapeños adding nice heat. The textures mixed well from the soft/chewy bread to the crunch of the fresh veggies with the meat and cheese. Overall the sandwich was way better than my friend said but he is not a sandwich or foodie guy like my self and I'm so glad that I finally stopped over. read more

I'm so torn about leaving this review because we really do want to love this place. It's close to home, it's convenient and has a cozy atmosphere. It's just not dependable. They are constantly changing their menu. They never seem to have the same things, which is tough when you have kids who get excited to come in for one thing and then they don't have it in stock. They have reduced their breakfast sandwiches down to 3, which is "plenty" except they removed some of the better ones and the sauces that taste the best. It's just a shame. Also, the coffee drinks are only "okay." For a place with "coffee" in the title, you expect great! I ordered an eggnog latte today and got just steamed eggnog & milk. Very confused. I just wish it were more dependable. In the past I have ordered "dirty chai" lattes and they are so sweet, you can't taste the espresso at all. The girls who work there try their best and it's not their fault the menu keeps changing, so I figured it'd be better to write it here for the owner to see rather than bug the employees, who have no control over it. We will continue to go because the kids love the muffins and we do love the atmosphere-- I just hope the owner stops reducing the menu. The firecracker sauce was so tasty and the roasted tomatoes, delicious! Bring them back, please! Also, my son loves your blue moon muffins and you never seem to have them anymore. I can't rate the food because I was not able to order. I used to like going to Coffeeville but they changed the menu. They now have a list of sandwiches for lunch with specific toppings. If you don't want all the toppings, you are allowed to remove any two, but no more than that. Don't even ask about adding toppings and the one with wanted didn't have lettuce on it. The only bright spot was that the server was very pleasant. I'm so sad to have lost one of my favorite lunch spots. read more

The coffee drinks and the food are both very good. We have never had issues with service. Really happy to have this in Jackson. The only negative is the cost. Prices are kind of high. Great atmosphere to get that morning cup of fancy coffee. So much more inviting than a Starbucks and it's local. I've never believed in paying the big price for a cup of coffee so they won't make it on my dollars. Fortunately for Coffeeville my wallet is not the one they need to regularly tap. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, served on a fresh & fairly large hoogie roll. I was somewhat surprised that they used a half melted slice of processed Kraft cheese in the sandwich. They should consider a shredded cheese to melt in the sandwiches. The owners really took the time with the remodel & decor. There is outdoor seating if you want to look over the parking lot. Stay inside & enjoy what they've done with the place. Jackson should be proud to have such a destination in their growing but still small community. read more

I've tried multiple times to like this place. It's a local business and I'd love to support it. I was here two weeks ago, used the tablet to order because the line was so long and had to ask for them to start my order after 20 minutes. They recommended using the mobile order to reduce wait time. I mobile ordered today to reduce the wait time. When I arrived 15 minutes later, as was instructed by the app and email, there wasn't even an employee to ask about my order. It wasn't ready and there was no line. The employee then told me they don't start the orders until you arrive. This causes 2 problems: A) no one to tell that you need the drink started and B) does not save time. The employee didn't apologize or offer to make it right or let me speak with someone, so I turned to yelp. Prices are more expensive than Starbucks, so I might just keep going there instead. read more

Love this place. Fresh, delicious, food made with care. I had a turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato hoagie; one of my friends had the tuna and the other the vegetarian option (I can't remember their fun names). All three of us really enjoyed our lunch. We all wanted soup, salad, or a sandwich from anywhere but Panera. Coffeeville over delivers on fast and substance. Although I didn't try it on this trip- the bakery and breakfast also looked amazing. The decor is fun, rustic and industrial. Can't wait to go back and try something else here. read more

An amazing place located in countryside. As you approach, you could be fooled into thinking this place is someone's private home. It might have been at one time but now it's a coffee shop and a remarkable place to visit. The primary structure is log, well preserved with fresh chinking, wood floors, comfortable tables and chairs and a balcony overlooking a small stage area. Stage? Yup. Live music some days. Overall, it is a comfortable atmosphere that radiates country living with the largest collection of coffee grinders I've ever seen. Check out the massive and artistically created chandelier. Two patio areas are probably very nice except during the Wisconsin Mosquito Invasion of 2018, when no one was safe from the miserable, bloodsucking, little pests. But back to the good stuff. Choose from lots of coffee choices made from ultra-modern equipment that looks like it came from the mess hall of the NCC-1701-D. Bakery, food, sandwiches at lunch time that come highly recommended and a wide variety of beverage choices. Check out the bakery case. Also, check out the bricks that make up the counter. Those aren't bricks, those are 4x4 ends. Unique and a delightful decorative touch. Coffeeville Company is located just west of US 45 on Wis 60, on the east side of Jackson. It's on the south side of the road and yes, it looks like a house. If you get to the Piggly-Wiggly, you've gone too far. (Unless you're coming from Grafton, in which case, it's just ahead on your left.) If you live in the area, stop in. If you don't live in the area, take a ride up to Jackson. read more

Coffeeville used to be a bright spot in Jackson. Recently, Memorial weekend 2023, they reopened as new and improved. There are no longer gluten-free options, milk options are skim or 2% no coconut or almond milks available. The bakery choices are extremely limited compared to their original menu. I had the lemon poppy seed bread. The lemon was very weakly flavored, the texture of the bread was wet rather than moist. I threw out more than half. We also had turkey and wild rice soup. The soup was served luke warm and tasteless, and there was either bo rice or the rice had been cooked to mush. More than half of that was tossed as well I hope things change and they are able to provide some of the wonderful foods and bakery they had in the past and that I can update this post with a positive review. read more

We stopped and grabbed a cappuccino and chai on the way to the lake. My husband will not stop raving about his cappuccino to the point I need for him to just stop already. The chai was also one of the best I have had. Food looks amazing and many patrons (Saturday mid morning) but did not feel cramped. Gorgeous building felt like a ski lodge. Will be back soon. Coffeeville used to be a hidden gem, but their "new" menu has been reduced to wholly average sandwiches, and wraps. The previously-amazing baked oatmeal is now a plate of pre-packaged ingredients that you can pour into the "new" cardboard loaf dish. So disappointed with the changes. The food is fine, but is now simply on-par with every other chain café (albeit far more expensive.) I used to tell friends from Illinois that they need to make the stop, but now, if you're not already in Jackson, don't bother. read more

Was excited to try this place as it looks really nice and the interior decor was very cool. I visited on Wednesday morning at 8:30 AM. It was definitely disappointing. First of all the place was quiet as a church, with a decor like that you think there'd be some ambience and perhaps coffeehouse music playing. It was definitely not busy yet the service was very poor and unfriendly. The girls behind the counter we're definitely not engaging or friendly. The prices here are also very expensive. I ordered a bagel sandwich and a latte, the sandwich was Good except for the fact that the sausage was still cold and latte was as expected. My daughter ordered the baked oatmeal which looked good but she wanted a cover for the oatmeal to take it with and I sat at the counter For at least five minutes while numerous workers passed me without asking if they could help me. The barista girl just pretty much ignored everybody and I wasn't the only one waiting. These kind of places you expect a certain level of service especially at the price points that they have and I was real disappointed with this one and I don't think I will return. read more

Pretty much the gem of Jackson. I can't tell you how much I missed having a place like this when we moved to Jackson seven years ago. Now, of course, we are moving a short time after they've started. I will have no issue driving from Cedarburg to come here on a regular basis. They are so friendly and began to know me by name. Most likely because I'm such a regular customer :-) Get the iced chai, Cold brew, coffee cake muffin and veggie sub. You're welcome. I hope they never leave. They've done an amazing thing to the old run down log house that was formerly just standing there and kept the original character while updating and adding so many fun and interesting things to look at when you're inside. This is an interesting & somewhat confusing place. The building is gorgeous. You order at the counter and pick up your beverage and food. So service, other than at the counter, is non-existent. That's fine. The sandwiches we had were ok. The cheese wasn't melted on my partner's warm sandwich. The chips and apples came in bags. The soup was good but curdled. If I can upload the photo of the soup look closely, and you can see what I mean. When you've place your order beware of add ons...my combo soup/ sandwich and coffee came to $18. There is also a tip option when you pay. Tip for what? Standing and waiting? Overall I don't think food is their strength, but their coffees are fantastic. We didn't try bakery, but it looked good. I come at least once a month because of the convenience of their drive through. The coffee is always good, the espresso pours great and the range of non dairy milks is appreciated. I am updating my review because I have had nothing but good experiences since returning after my first poor experience. Maybe it was an off day. Comfy- cozy and friendly spot! Lots of small side rooms for nearly- private tables and quiet conversations. And a small deck with outdoor seating. Full coffee menu, along with baked goods & light fare. Only problem is trying to get to the parking lot. You can't bypass ( get around) the long line of drive-through cars picking up their orders. I don't quite get this place. Tons of money went into designing an ersatz log cabin, colonial era, New Englandesque decor, more fitting for a chop house restaurant trying to replicate where George Washington would dine in 1774. This is suppose to be a coffee house/sandwich shop. Huh? The cavernous space has no table service and you order at a counter. Service at the counter is young, untrained, and seemingly without a clue. The place takes coffee seriously and does a good job roasting a bean. However, the sandwiches are as strange as the decor. Large and filling, but mostly tasteless and bland, no changes or additions can be made to the sandwiches. You must accept them as they are. No customization is allowed. That's weird for a sandwich shop. Oh, this is a coffee house. No, it's a sandwich shop. Yikes, it's a colonial era replication. Is this Williamsburg, Virginia? You get my point. Coffeeville Company has no clear identity. It must be someone's hobby, or they are "washing" some funds in lieu of using a Cayman Islands bank. As I said, I don't get this place, but any addition to Jackson's restaurant scene is appreciated. read more

Had a really great seafood salad, it was quite large with a good amount of seafood and veggies. Food was great, and decent value. However it was kind of overstuffed into the plastic container and hard to eat without pouring it out, the delicious meal 4 of us had resulted in a giant pile of plastic waste. read more
