This company has 0 ethics and run what I can only believe to be an illegal scam. First and foremost, they send false " Notice of parcel on hold" notices to your mail box to try to get you to call. which we ignored of course. But then they contacted my wife pretending to be with the city and told her they needed to come by to "test our water". they scheduled an appointment to come by when it was just her and she was told "Your husband has to be here as well" which is odd. But then they send a salesperson out, for a 7pm appointment, he arrives 30 minutes earlier than expected. Gives us an enticing presentation showing us how "bad" our water is and how we would benefit from their product, and pushes and pushes you to the point where you feel almost obligated to give them something. Salesperson stayed until 10:30 pm on a work night and felt like he would've stayed longer if we didn't at least tell him we would talk it over. He told us they would give us 24 hours to talk it over but had us sign some paperwork to "hold the deal in place" that we discussed but already scheduled an installation appointment within the 24 hour window? Regardless it took about 10 minutes of research to discover they are super overcharging for their product so we decided to skip. So we called the salesperson and told them we no longer wanted to do it, and told please destroy any documents with our personal information on it. Well a week later unsurprisingly there was a hard inquiry on our credit report from their creditor. We received this offer in the mail when we got our new house about water filtration. Javier came to our house and presented the Fidelis elite system and we were just impressed with how the system works. Javier was really nice and knowledgeable. We purchased the system and Javier scheduled it to get installed like in two days which was amazing. Juan came that Saturday to install and he was very thorough and was here for 14 hours- didn't leave until it was perfectly installed. A week later Luis came to check on the system installation and made sure the water are just perfect and there are no issues. Overall, my husband and I are impressed. He explained everything thoroughly and just was super kind. The installer Daniel also was very prompt and on time. He installed everything quickly and made sure we understood how the system worked. He even installed our new sink faucet and made sure the system connected to our refrigerator. They finished a follow up and Luis came out to check the system. I was able to locate the company that had installed my current water system and they serviced it for a couple hundred dollars and it works awesome. It's been a year and a half and I have had zero problems, but I do have an extra $10,000 that didn't get swindled away from me. Dishonest. I had initially wanted to finance the 10k dollar system because I got anxious and excited from his presentation and I was told that it would be fine to finance this whole thing. A couple days before the installation, I was called and told that I wasn't approved for the credit line. I told them that I wasn't interested in any further services. They ran my credit THREE times, with three different financing companies which put THREE hard inquiries on my credit report. That's going to stick around with me for a while, I also didn't authorize that. I don't know what they're selling but they sure put on a show and scare you into believing that you're going to die from how terrible your water is. The sales guy spent over an hour with his song and dance. They'll also try to tell you how much soap and detergent you'll save, trying to sell you on their overpriced product and showing you how much money you'll save on other products in return. Their prices are over double what they should be. Do your research and if you're set on paying too much for a system, be careful with their financing promises. They'll F*** up your credit while trying to sweet talk your money right out of your pocket. *** I have the quote, I have the contact info. I kept all of my paperwork. We got to talk to Dan (California based) and he assured us that we will be able to get our system moved, stored in our storage unit and reinstalled at our new home when we're ready to move in. The issue of communication was due to the fact that their TX branch is now closed and CA is now taking over their clients. THIS GUY WAS SUPER SEXIST AND BROKE OUR SINK It stated when they sent my husband a missed parcel letter without their company anywhere on it. It was a "final notice" and it ended up being a water company offering a $25 Amazon gift card just to quickly test our water. They claimed it was a service that was provided for all new home owners. We agreeded because we thought it would be a quick test from the hose outside and they came the next day at 10 am. We missed the guys name, but when we told him we were in the military, he then went on a long rant about how he was in a war and he enjoyed killing isis members. Awkward but whatever. He then started moving all our stuff in the kitchen to make room for his very long presentation that we didn't ask for and preceded to tell us how women are always in the kitchen. After that, he wanted to attach something to our sink and in the process, broke our sink and had to call a technician to come fix it. He still continued with his presentation that we didn't ask for and at the end I had to bring up the gift card. He said you don't get it unless you buy the system but he said he'd give it to us because of the inconvenience. Nothing about this presentation was honest and most of it was offensive because he asked me to smile and kept saying how women are always in the kitchen. At first, when I saw this company's advertisement, I wasn't sure who they were because it seemed related to a utility company. Still, I invited them in because I was curious about what they offered. My husband and I had recently purchased our home, and we are very health conscious and concerned about the quality of water we drink. We always bought bottled water, so I was curious to know how healthy tap water is because I used it when cooking. After seeing the demonstration and learning how dirty public tap water is, we decided to purchase their system for our home. Their crew had to drill a new hole in the side of my house, but I was OK with it because, overall, their pipes exiting my house resemble the plumbing I already have. Nevertheless, I painted them with a bit of paint I had in the garage to match the other pipes, so today, nobody can tell they aren't a part of the original plumbing for our house. In any case, my husband and I are pleased with the purchase and the peace of mind having clean water gives us. I only cook with purified water now, and it runs all through my house. The purchase included lifetime home products from a company they work with in Texas, and I like their products too. We can get two supplies per year. The other thing I want to mention is, sometime after the initial installation, I had a functional issue with my reverse osmosis system sitting under my sink, and although there was some back-and-forth with their office, the main person in charge got involved and had his team come back to my house and installed a new system under my sink free of charge. I couldn't be happier with the system, the service, and the product I've received from Fidelis, so I must give them the best rating I can. Avoid this company at all costs! Apart from the deceiving marketing tactics, customer service is horrible and the technicians are even worse! Let me start off with their sales pitch. They offer you multiple incentives including a $500 signing bonus as well as a lifetime supply of soaps/cleansing products which according to their breakdown, will essentially pay for itself when you factor in your savings in cleansing products. What they don't mention is exactly what you get and the back end costs associated with the equipment. You'll be receiving packets of concentrated soaps that need to be mixed with water in the cheap bottles they provide. Shouldn't be that big of a deal if these products were good quality, however they're not. These also aren't the "same P&G soaps you get at the store" that are promised if you ask me. You'll also have to pay $60 if I remember correctly towards shipping for your "free" years worth of products (haven't repurchased as the products are poor quality). The amount of products you'll receive may very well last you a year if you're not as hygienic as you should be, however if you follow proper hygiene practices this wouldn't last you a year. As for the water softener, it dispenses approximately 50gal. of water every two weeks or less to clean itself out. Expect a higher water bill and water damages if not properly installed. Now lets move on to the installation, this is where they shine in excellence! When speaking with the rep, I had mentioned that I wanted the water softener system in my garage and was told that it shouldn't be a problem however when the technician arrived, he had stated that it would be placed in my backyard as the distance was too far out from the main connection. Seems to me however that the technician did not want to take on the extra work required to trench the line to my garage. Bought into the lie that it couldn't be done as we would lose water pressure and ultimately had it placed in the backyard. I let the technician proceed however as the installation continued I then heard drilling, which I then stepped out of my home office to inspect, and came to find out that the technician was drilling straight into the side of my house without advising me in order to connect the water softener to a power source inside my living room. I also couldn't help but notice that the water softener was merely left to drain right in my backyard rather than being connected to a proper drainage source. Professional installation at its finest! Imagine a pipe bursting in your home and a plumber patching it up with duct tape, this is the type of work you could expect from Fidelis. See attached photos for reference. As time passes and I see the issues progress, I then call customer service to inform them that their improper installation was causing issues and needed it fixed but am only then told that the technicians, "look for the best drainage point when installing," and if I wanted a technician to come out and take a look at the problem then it would be a $125 fee just to have him come out. What a joke! The BEST drainage point would have been PROPER drainage to the street. Just sold my home and was supposed to have the buyer carry the loan, however, the buyer is now reluctant to carry the loan due to damages this will cause if not fixed as mentioned by the inspector, and am now stuck with having to take the system with me. Reinstallation fee of $895 to have the unit relocated to my new home and if not done by Fidelis, ALL warranties will be voided. Now stuck in a dilemma if to pay the reinstallation fee and have improper installation done again by Fidelis OR hire on someone else to professionally install the equipment which will then void all warranties. I should be demanding compensation for damages and expenses accrued due to improper installation! Please do your research before signing or agreeing to anything. Whether it be for a water system, solar, security system, pest control, etc., don't let them pressure you into agreeing as their "offer is only good for that moment." Do your research first and if all seems satisfactory, proceed with the purchase. I've come to find out that a lot of the times, this tactic is being used by companies like Fidelis that are NOT reputable and are trying to keep it hidden by not giving you the time to look into them. Damaged personal property from the flood was never compensated for, we just moved in so the garage had stuff in it. Got a $50 discount on  service of $800 for transferring my system to new house. Service manager had to come out and clean up the flood, after I argued with them that waiting 4 days for the same technician to come back out was unacceptable. So they took my system down ($285) free of charge on condition that I take down my review from above.  So I did and later I call to get the system reinstalled and the price of installation jumped to $895 (fishy). Back and forth for weeks and they finally agreed to install it for the original price. I didn't get it reinstalled, because I just don't want to deal with them.
