When our 14-year-old golden retriever, Jack, passed away, I was at a loss for what to do next but I knew I had to act quickly. Jack weighed 85 lbs, and with an infant at home, the idea of managing everything on my own was overwhelming, more like impossible. I initially contacted a more established service in Jacksonville, NC, but they required me to transport Jack to them, within an hour! I am on Emerald Isle and even without an infant this would have been impossible. They gave no other options. So I looked on google and found this amazing group, Dignified Pet Transport, and I am SO GLAD I did. From the very first call, Nick was incredibly reassuring, telling me not to worry about anything. They immediately offered to come pick Jack up, and I felt such a sense of relief. Their service was prompt, professional, and compassionate, exactly what I needed in that moment. Not only was their service top-notch but their prices were also better than the competitors which was another welcome relief. When they returned Jack's ashes, I was blown away by the professionalism and beauty of the presentation. They brought our Jack back in a beautiful, high-quality cedar box with his name on a gold plate, and they included a print of his paw as a keepsake. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture--truly a beautiful thing. If you're looking for a service that offers everything you need when a pet dies (prompt courteous service, compassion and kindness, flexibility, price and ease of use) you have found the only place you need. Dignified Pet Transport blew me away with how incredible they are at every single step of this difficult process. I'm so thankful I found them in a time of need and I am eternally grateful for how easy they made such a difficult situation.

I could tell by the updates that the girls genuinely loved my dogs and appreciated their unique personalities, which was such a comfort as I have a very difficult time leaving them! They even went "frog hunting" with the pups every night in the backyard. I came home after two weeks to a spotless house, and they even bathed the dogs while I was away. I also appreciated that with this service comes advance scheduling, coverage for cancellations, etc., all that you can't get with a Rover sitter and what I couldn't take a risk on with such a big trip. Not only did help me raise the funds by sharing my fundraiser, she grew to love both my dogs. I never leave the house unless my boyfriend is home because my dog has separation anxiety and destroys the house. The new dog has grown severely attached to me, I assume from whatever trauma he faced on the streets. The new one is not crate trained and screams and soils himself if you put him in one. I have a lot of medical conditions that I used to have to cancel appointments for if I my boyfriend was out of town for work. Now I am able to call PGPC and they sit with my boys for the hour I'm gone and make sure they are safe! I honestly would be lost with out them.

It wasn't until we were in Jacksonville (away from family & new to the area) that I found myself needing to board her. After WEEKS of searching different facilities, I choose PAWVILLE. Saying I was a MESS leaving her there was an understatement. I cried leaving her. The facility was beautiful, well kept, secure & the staff was friendly (again, just me being an over protective parent). I Bella stayed for 6 days. I received pictures of my baby and the staff was patient with me, when I'd call to check on her. Needless to say, I cried ALOT when I picked up my baby. She was happy to see me and she was fine. A lil confused, but she was fine and well cared for. I ended up using PAWVILLE a.few times while we were in Jacksonville. Fast forward 4 years & back in San Diego I recently rescued another dog & need to board him (here we go again). My thoughts, "its San Diego, this will be easy." The bar PAWVILLE instilled in my needs for boarding is beyond measure. I miss the facility & the comfort I found in knowing my furchild was safe. We had a family emergency and had to go home for a death in our family and needed a place to board…read moreour dog for 3 weeks. It started with the report card pictures, I noticed that he was becoming very thin. He was sent with a bag of 18lb bag of dog food and I signed and paid for them to feed him the food they had when he ran out. I noticed marks on him unsure if it was from them or their dogs, one picture you can see blood on his paw and never once did they say anything about him being hurt. He also came back home flinching really bad, when I would go to simply pet him he would duck. When we got him back home and started feeding him like his normal again he fatten up back to normal very fast. He also has became aggressive when we bathe him with the shower head (he bit my friend while she was bathing him) when he used to not be till he went to pawville.
