Lovely first experience. Sat at the front windows and couldn't be happier with the delicious meal (only dish I didn't capture was the mouthwatering Panzanella.) I couldn't find this wonderful location on Yelp so I had no other choice but to add their information so that I can give the owner of this Bottle Shop a giant 5 Star review. This place is totally awesome. The owner (who's name I totally forgot to get) made us a hot cider concoction. He showed us a few wine bottles that he though we might like. This place is awesome. This is definitely a cocktail connoisseurs place. Really elevated drinks served by talented, and knowledgeable people. Among us we tried 6 different cocktails and they were all great. You just can't go wrong. We tried two different kinds of appetizers: the cauliflower and the sourdough bread. Both were amazing. Field Bar is just awesome. The space is beautifully appointed and the service is fantastic. While limited, the menu is packed with tasty snacks and a few mains (the lamb meatballs are insane). Meh. The drinks were good but the food was pretty horrible. We only ordered one thing to share so maybe it was just a bad one to be fair. Made me glad we didn't spend any more $$ on food since they're on the pricier end for what it is. We got the shiso chicken wrap. I'm very familiar with shiso since I grew up eating them regularly so I was excited when I saw it on the menu. The leaves are supposed to be picked younger so they're softer. Theirs was tough because it had past its season. The chicken was watery and the cucumber kimchi was not right. They used the wrong kind of cucumber and the flavor was way off. So the unfortunate finished product was basically watery chicken with off-putting kimchi wrapped in some tough leaves. We got three of them sitting in a puddle of lukewarm chicken juice for $16... the space is very cute and people were nice. I might go back just for the drinks but it will take me a bit to get over the experience I had with their food lol. read more
