This place is so aesthetic. Downstairs is a cafe open to everyone, while upstairs is a paid coworking space. They have a lot of fun winter specials. They were more easily made hot than cold though and I typically prefer iced drinks so was hard to get the full experience. Some breakfast items as well as pastries.

Field Day is a fun and versatile space in Lawrenceville. Open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM. Coworking space plus a cafe and even has a rooftop! Field Day offers a variety of coworking options. From flexible day passes to long-term private suites, the space is thoughtfully designed to suit your needs. The cafe is cute and simple. I do wish they had more food options especially if spending the entire day there. But the coffee is delicious and the staff is friendly. They've got rental rooms and a rooftop that's available for meetings and social gatherings.

I came to Field Day about three or four months ago and I remember distinctly thinking it wasn't the best coworking space because there were limited tables (especially if it was busy). Well I'm happy to report that either my memory is wrong or they've added a ton more seating because when I went there today there were at least 5 more tables and many more intentional areas to work or relax than there were before. Also, their pothos wall is something to be seen - it's so gorgeous! On top of all of this, my drink was excellent. I asked for a dirty chai and when I asked if the sweetness could be adjusted originally the barista said no, it's a prepackaged box of chai mix. But thankfully they pivoted and offered to make me a chai, add milk and espresso, and control the sweetness with some simple syrup. It was such a great drink and the attention to detail and flexibility was so nice.

I've been here twice, once to hang out and work a little and once for breakfast. Very confident 5/5. The coffee selection is amazing, the music playing in the background is solid, and the breakfast sandwich is out of this world. True story: the first time I came here, I was with a group of people - one person ordered the sandwich and it started a chain reaction of purchasing more because it looked and tasted so amazing. My second trip was because I had to show my husband how good the sandwich was and he agreed. Service is great too, solid all around cafe for work or snacking.

Cute cafe, great environment, however food and service not meeting my standard. Ordered a drip coffee to start my day. But without asking me, the girl put cream in it. I took a sip and was like Mehhh what is it...... Then the prosciutto sandwich, which has prosciutto, cheese, fig jam and arugula in it. I LOVE fig but I think they had way too much jam it it. Unfortunately I am disappointed by how sweet the sandwich was, plus I feel like the waiters are lack of training. Hope they will do better moving forward.

Field day is a great space. I visited on a beautiful Pgh day so they had the garage door open making it a great indoor/outdoor feel. I didn't explore upstairs at all but have heard there's a lot of work space. Very modern but comfy interior where I was able to work for a good few hours. I ordered an iced latte and breakfast sandwich. Both were very good, although my total came to about 18 dollars. Kind of expected now a days. Just a heads up they only offer oat or whole milk and don't have any condiments. (I like hot sauce for bfast meals) Will be back!

Stumbled upon this place on our way home and stopped by the huge cafe below and grabbed some coffee to go. Looks like the building has rentable rooms and can function as coworking spaces or to host events. We only were able to see the downstairs which was bright and open. I guess this review is for the drinks which were pretty good! They have unique drinks like horchata cold brew and a tehina (basically tahini) smoothie which caught my eye. It's a great place to meet up with friends and chat over coffee. They also had sandwiches and hot dishes if you're hungry!

The door is next to Creative Reuse's on N Lexington Avenue. On the second Saturday of every month, the Pillow Project invites people to come and enjoy a lounge atmosphere of dance, live jazz music, and performances involving mixed-media. Alongside that, the space is used for many other events as well, each group giving it its own special charm. I've seen classes, clothing drives, photoshoots, and many other types of events use the loft. The space itself is gorgeous, with the modern coolness you'd expect from a loft belonging to a performance art troupe, combined with the history of Pittsburgh - since it is attached to Construction Junction, you can be sure that just about everything up here has been repurposed. The large windows let tons of natural light in, and the hardwood floors are gorgeous. Scattered over the space there are a few extremely unique pieces of art including a busted up mattress hanging on the wall and a laptop with a tree growing out of it. There is a large bar off to one side infront of two small openings that look down over Construction Junction. Old couches and tables are scattered throughout the space for seating and a small raised platform, infront of the multimedia control center, is also sometimes used for seating. The only problem with the space is that it is somewhat of a weather permitting space - You really feel it in here when it's hot or cold outside. There are huge heaters on the ceiling for the winter but they're very uneven, so beneath them it's burning, and not too far away it's cold again. But that's what you get when you're in such an old building, it's a really minor complaint. There is also a small waiting area downstairs right inside the door. So if you're looking to catch a cool performance, come on the second Saturday of any month and check it out. If you're looking for a neat event space, be sure to ask the Pillow Project for details. And now I can finally check in to the right place

Boiler room management provided the host with a room and key for keeping our valuables. Few of the ladies who were at the party kept their handbags in this room and locked. After the party is over, we went to pick the bags and noticed that someone opened the lock and robbed the handbags. There were a total of 5 ladies handbags and one of the guy's wallet were stolen. There was also a suit case missing which makes us think that the robber kept all these handbags in the suit case and left. Their office manager was feeling really bad at the time of incident. He looked into the cc tv footage next day and saw a person walking away with the suitcase. We were informed that they have liability insurance and not to worry. Later, the insurance company informed us that Boiler room's insurance policy doesn't cover theft. Just want others to be aware of this.
