This spot is a lovely small biz focusing on charcuterie and coffee. They're available for catering but guests can come in and grab a cheese board for 1 or 2 guests, plus other grab n go snacks. I enjoyed a sweet potato latte--made with real sweet potato!! Stop by next time you're in downtown. They typically close at 4 on the weekdays.

I work downtown and it took me far too long to try this spot. I didn't realize that in addition to their amazing charcuterie boxes, which they will assemble for you custom as you choose from their thoughtful ingredient selection, they have a full coffee bar with housemade syrups. And when I say housemade, I mean they are roasting down sweet potatoes for a sweet potato latte, one of their signatures. Everything here is made with care and intention. They also offer workshops which I'd like to attend sometime and learn how to make a better board at home. On top of everything, you're supporting a small, local, woman and Black-owned business here. Love them!

I ordered a charcuterie board for my husband's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and beauty of the board Pair created for us. They even upgraded my order. We loved it for our date night. I also attended a charcuterie workshop and had such an amazing time. It was great mingling with other people while also being creative. I didn't realize how much fun making a board would be and now I feel so confident in making one for company at home. Highly recommend them.

This is a super cute Cafe with great food and fresh ingredients. I love that they also have pork alternatives. I come in often and ask for almond milk in my Latte but they have oat milk and I'm here for it! I love the assortment of pastries, coffees, and sandwiches. It's a nice lunch spot that will keep you full without making you feel heavy. Their fruit-cuterie cups are perfect for breakfast and the crossiant sandwiches are great for lunch. This is something that we were missing downtown.

I walked past Pair and decided to stop in to check it out. I had read about it online prior to visiting and I understood it to be a charcuterie spot that also served coffee/tea. When I came in, it definitely felt more like a coffee shop, which is fine. I didn't see any charcuterie plates, but they did have a cooler with grab and go drinks and parfaits, deviled eggs, and sandwiches. I ordered an iced chai latte and the barista indicated that he didn't have the proper strainer to make the chai. He said he could make me an iced matcha latte instead. I agreed that would be fine. While making the drink, the barista asked if I would like regular or oat milk. I didn't see milk options on their menu so I was pleasantly surprised that they had oat milk. So I chose oat milk. Both the chai latte and matcha lattes are listed as $5 (I didn't know this until I looked at the menu again after I left) on the menu, so I was surprised that my total was almost $8. That's at least a $2 up charge for oat milk, which I was not told about prior. I didn't try my matcha latte until I got back to my office, but at first glance, it did not look like a matcha latte. There was no signature green color. When I finally tried it, it tasted like coffee with a little cream in it. That's also what it looked like too. I think this spot has potential but it needs to work out the kinks.

They weren't super busy when I went around 8:15 on a Tuesday, started to get busier closer to 8:30 though and by 8:40 the line was back to the door but they still served pretty quickly. They also have grab and go drinks, some iced coffees, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, yogurts, muffins, etc. Inside there's 3 4 person tables and then a wrap around seating/bar area with about 8-10 stools. Also outside seating with three 4-person tables and one 2-person table. Most everyone was taking to go though! But if you want a table for a meeting, suggest to get here before 8:30! Merch and ground coffee available too. Overall, modern coffee shop with options to work or meet for a meeting.

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.
