I was out of town so I wasn't much help. I called Patrick at 5 o'clock on a Sunday. Patrick didn't answer the phone because they were closed, but he immediately called me back. My wife had a prior appointment at 8 AM that she couldn't miss so Patrick worked around her schedule and met her at 7 AM. By 12 o'clock my wife's brakes were completely redone and she was back on the road. Can't thank Patrick enough..

Custom Interior damaged with ZERO reimbursement after a month…read more I brought my vehicle in and payed over $2,000 for some simple motor work and keep in mind that this is how I was treated after paying so much; Upon returning home with my car that day I noticed that my brand new custom shift boot was covered in grease and had been attempted to be cleaned resulting in even more damage. It was installed about 3 weeks before this incident and was in perfect condition. It is a $50 custom made shift boot that took a $75 trim piece to make so this is going to cost me about $150 out of pocket to replace myself which is totally not cool. I took it upon myself to get in touch over the phone, where I was first accused about lying in regards to the damages, and was then mocked and made fun of by the owned Patrick for supposedly "just being all butt-hurt about it" I really want others to avoid such a bad experience, especially encountering damages and losing money when you are already having to pay for work on your car. I do also have images of my car on their lift as proof to the date that this occurred.

So from my times here, I can say that the staff members have all been very attentive & easy to talk to, (ask questions) & knowledgeable. They all seem to work seamlessly together & be on the same page, which definitely seems to speed up any possible wait times. I am always pleased with how smooth and quick the process is and I'm back on my way again. Also, knowing that I won't be pressured into all the dreaded unknown upselling (I have always seemed to run into with a few other companies) puts my anxiety in check! I feel more comfortable & confident knowing they will be transparent & straight up in their findings & I won't be price gouged or told some bs, that will leave me feeling uneasy & unsure on my drive home. I would definitely recommend trying them out... whenever the "looking for a good mechanic" topic comes up, I drop my D&E chime in... okay, this is why I don't leave reviews (because being an over thinker is exhausting) it's a lot to read, but I usually won't take the time to do reviews... so if I do, it's been a standout good experience or the complete opposite. I am impressed with D&E & I hope it helps someone else out, if you find yourself one day, frantically flying through all the different auto repair companies on here, you just found one... call or drive over to check. Oh & I also really like & appreciate the technology they use... they send you text message updates and pictures with explanations of what all needs to be fixed as well as the rundown of the entire time spent looking over your vehicle and findings or not- it's PRETTY GREAT!

Gotta agree with Mark F here in the comments definitely another bait and hook auto shop been there…read moretwice now with 2 different cars but the last time I went in it was for a routine oil change and when I get my car back it took 3 times to start and now I'm going to another auto shop to get my starter fix and all they can say is "oh I think it's a coincidence" like really didn't have a problem with it before I brought it in for an oil change and then on the other car they charged us a fee for looking at the radio to see what's wrong with but they still couldn't even tell us what's wrong with but yet we got charged. Another thing is bill and the other lady are very rude at the front desk and obviously the mechanic doesn't know what he's doing Would not recommend this place to anyone if I could give zero starts I would.

I've done business at many Les Schwab Tire places from here to Sacramento and in between, but this shop on East Avenue gets an extra special gold star... since I'm in Chico forever now, this will be my tire place! the staff was exceptionally friendly (and recommended the restaurant across the street, which also has a stellar ice cream parlor too)

I just had a terrible experience at this Les Schwab…read more It was by far the worst experience I've ever had in the nineteen years I've been patronizing Les Schwab. The first time I ever visited Les Schwab was when I was pregnant with my daughter, who recently turned eighteen. I had a tire go flat, and my daughter's father told me Les Schwab would fix it for free. I said, "Really?" Fast forward to this morning, when a tire that I recently purchased from Les Schwab popped on the highway, putting my life in danger. Fortunately, I happened to be approaching a pullout, which I pulled into. I called AAA, and had my car towed to this Les Schwab. The only reason I chose to have my car towed to Les Schwab, at this point, was because these tires were still under warranty. I just purchased these tires on August 15 2025, and have only driven them about 20,000 miles. The tow truck driver left my car where he's supposed to, and dropped off the keys. After a few minutes, I decided to take a walk. When I went outside, I was shocked to see a Les Schwab employee driving my car all the way across to the very furthest port away, a distance of about 300 yards, on a completely flat tire that was flat to the rim. I would never do this myself. I had taken care to pull over quickly so as to not damage my rims. After a few more minutes, I was informed that even though my tire was under warranty, they would not be replacing it for free. They tried to blame me for the tire popping because I hadn't had my tires rotated with them, even though I had them rotated twice at Walmart. They tried to sell me a tire for $250, saying it was the only one they had in stock. I told them to put the spare on so I could leave. I sat down and started writing a Yelp review. I'm pretty sure they saw me. At this point another employee called me back up and said that actually, they had just found a used tire upstairs for $35. If I wanted they could put that on just to get by. MY TIRES WERE NOT EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH THEIR WARRANTY AND THEY POPPED ON THE HIGHWAY FOR NO REASON. I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY ANYTHING. I told him I was really upset and planning to go buy new tires elsewhere. He made no attempt to save the sale. I paid $38 for the used tire. I was literally on my way to Chico TO BUY TIRES. I was already planning to replace my back tires today. But after that? You can bet your bottom I'm on my way to have it done somewhere else. I'm planning on filing a complaint with the BBB to ask for a refund on the full price I paid on these tires on August 15.

An unparalleled experience. Unicorn service. Can I give 6-stars? Honestly, read this…read more.. Day 1, Saturday, of a four week road trip, we drove from SoCal to Pleasanton, CA and heard a clicking sound coming from the rear end once we were off the freeway and could hear again. Since we were picking up our caravan partner and heading north, we needed to find a mechanic in NorCal, along our route and nearby. We used the VanAlert app (must have!) and found Westy World in Chico. I called the number (Saturday, remember?) to leave a hopeful message that they may be able to squeeze us in on Monday for a look-see. I couldn't leave a message because Brian answered! As we discussed the issue, Brian offered to stop-by Pleasanton on SUNDAY, after a nearby Van drop-off. We met at a roadside parking lot and Brian crawled under the van to find and definitively diagnose a broken axel. If this was the end of the story, I am sure you would agree that this is a once in a lifetime automotive and humanitarian experience. It has had such a profound impact on us that we use it as the measure of the Golden Rule - we try to treat others the way Brian treated us. But the story goes on. From the parking lot Brian rallied his team back in Chico to set up an appointment on Monday to repair our axel. We are pretty sure that Westy World was not keeping a time slot open for that Monday to address our emergency. So all the other projects must have been put on hold to make our emergency their emergency. As we agreed in the parking lot on Sunday, we covered the time and expense for Kyle to DRIVE FROM CHICO TO REDDING AND BACK on Monday morning to pick up the replacement axel. When we rolled into Chico Kyle jacked up our '87 GL and completed the repair before we could finish out lunch. Everyone was mellow, untroubled, kind and very knowledgeable. What a great mindset to calm us in our moment of flexing. After our trip we checked in with our local mechanic, who verified two things: the parts used (from Burley Motosports) were the best available, and Westy World charged us as though this was a regularly scheduled appointment - no emergency premium! It is an honor to have had this experience and to have Kyle and Brian in our world. Thank you both and everyone else at Westy World that was affected by our incursion.
