I went to a home show this weekend for contractors, and this man was next to me at first ended off well with him singing and him being an hour late. I offer the man some snacks and drinks which we had. I was respectful and kind. around maybe 4 o'clock this man starts yelling at me telling me get away from my booth don't stand in front of my booth. Loudly in front of my customers.. I was embarrassed, so I kind of walked away, not knowing how to react because I was shocked that this grown man was yelling at me then he went and told to the home show that I was standing in front of his booth, which I was not so I just decided to stand on the other side by the other booth so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable, which I should not do that. I paid thousands of dollars like everybody else did for this booth. so then we go onto the next day, which is Sunday show starts at 11 o'clock. This man was still 30 minutes late. I noticed because I was early and was kind of nervous to go to the Home show because I didn't wanna to get yelled at again by this man so this time I recorded everything the whole event . this man started yelling at me again in front of my customers. in front of my 13-year-old daughter in front of my five-year-old daughter, calling my husband a fat bitch saying he wasn't scared of him. Nobody did nothing to him. He was really bothered by us that we were friendly that we were kind that we were offering gifts or maybe it was because we were "Hispanic". I don't know if it was a race thing. This man never got off of his chair to sell anything he was on his cell phone the whole time and when people came up to him, he said, are you even interested in grass? That's not how you talked to customers he was rude and disrespectful. Maybe he just didn't want to be at the home show. I asked him if he was the owner he said no I told him that I was gonna call the owner and tell the owner how he was treating me he said he didn't care. I told him that I was gonna put a yelp review. He said he didn't care. I told him I'm going to put you on social media and I'm going to make field of grass solutions. Look bad because of you the way you are treating me other people around you saw you oh and you were telling on other people at the home show other contractors you were trying to make other contractors look bad I would never work with field of grass and I will tell everyone not to work with field of grass and I hope no woman has to deal with this man . not right, not even an apology. read more

I decided to provide feedback based on 3 elements related to our experience with Field of Green, pre-installation, installation, and post-installation. Pre-Installation- After interviewing 8 contractors to install approximately 1500sf of artificial turf in our backyard, we decided on Field of Green. While several of the contractors were capable of doing the job, the quality of the material to be installed by Field of Green was clearly the product that best resembled actual grass. The product was not too green, a good mix of brown blades for realism, great density, and multiple height to the blades. I should point out that Field of Green was not the lowest bid, nor was it the highest. We feel we got a reasonable price for the quality of the turf, and the anticipated installation. Installation- Our installation was scheduled for about 3 weeks after the contract was signed, part of the reason for scheduling out 3 weeks was the fact that we were going to be out of town, so not a reflection of Field of Green. The crew showed up when scheduled, and the project was completed in about 3 days. Old grass was ripped out, a weed barrier was installed, and base material was placed and compacted. Once installed, not indication of where the seems were, and the finished installation exceeded our expectations. Quite simply, they did a beautiful job! Post-Installation- This may be the most important element in relation to working with Field of Green. Several months after the installation was complete, we noticed that there was some water seepage, the result of a nail going through an unidentified buried sprinkler line. When I contacted Field of Green about this problem, they immediately worked to correct the problem, to my complete satisfaction. Many contractors would have balked at taking responsibility after several months, but Field of Green stood by their workmanship. All told, our experience with Field of Green was first rate. They install a great product, are professional, and stand by their word. read more

Our backyard lawn was scruffy and full of gopher holes and we wanted to replace it with a no-water solution that our dogs could romp on. I researched K-9 Grass which is a product often used in dog parks. Field of Green was a recommended dealer and we enlisted them to perform the makeover. Our new turf came out great! No more weeds, watering or dirt mounds from the gophers. It looks beautiful and the dogs love it! Overall, the project went well. We had to wait about 2 months for our project to begin because the company is so busy. There was also an additional delay because of supply-chain issues with the delivery of the turf from the factory in GA. Neither of these delays were avoidable and the finished project was well worth the wait. The installers were efficient and they knew what they were doing, Even in the recent heavy rains, the turf drains perfectly - just as it is supposed to. I have recommended Field of Green to other dog-owning friends as a good solution to worn-out lawns. read more

This review is NOT for their landscaping service, but for their management and lack of ethics.  On Saturday, while driving to Home Depot with my two kids, I was rear ended by one of their drivers, in Tracy.  As I proceeded to find a location to safely pull over, the truck took advantage of the on-ramp to the freeway and took off.   This was a HIT & RUN!   I immediately called and left a voicemail with their phone service, and asked that the message be delivered ASAP.  At this point, it's Monday afternoon, and I have not received a call back.   If a business owner is not going to prioritize this type of call, in my eyes he is okay with the illegal action taken by his employee.   I would never, ever, hire such a company due to LACK OF ETHICS. read more

I regret buying turf from Field of Green. The turf has stripes going through it that aren't the same green as the majority of the turf. This was noticed immediately after buying from them and now they are stalling in exchanging it for what I actually ordered which is turf with no defects. This company has very slow customer service. Buyer beware this company made my landscaping job miserable. They have horrible customer service if your turf has any defects. The exchange took 3 months. read more

I had Field of Green do a project at my home. At first, I thought the end results were great. It has now been about 5 weeks since the project was completed. Seams are noticeable and I have had 4 conversations about getting this fixed. I am continually told someone will call back. Nobody is calling back. Not only is the customer service poor, but while working on the project, I was left to clean up cigarette butts, wood, pipe, and water bottles around my property. Field of Green might have a good product, but they do not back their warranty or present themselves in a professional manner. read more

Brian was very professional and he devoted his attention to all my questions and concerns. On the day of installation I was greeted by Pedro who I assume was the crew leader which consisted of Alberto Adrian and Edwardo. These gentlemen displayed complete professionalism the work was completed above satisfactory. The daily cleanup as well as the final clean up was even more impressive. This group of men delivered what every business companies code of ethics tries to deliver but often fails. This company is awesome. They saved my do-it-yourself project from total failure and saved me money, too! I have a puppy and was looking for a small patch of artificial turf for my homemade puppy potty grass station. All the other guys around the bay area told me I needed an appointment for a remnant, which wasn't even suitable for the use I had in mind, or they wouldn't deal with me because I needed such a small patch. One guy even told me to bring him a six-pack of Bud Light and maybe we could do business the following week. Then I got in touch with Brian McGibbon, President of Forever Lawn, Inc. in Tracy and he took my call personally. He explained the difference between the artificial turf used for puppy potty grass (he has a special brand called K-9) and all the other artificial turfs, which he also sells. He offered me a great deal and said I could come out right away. When I got there, Brian was very helpful, genuine and was true to his word. I got a great deal on a small swatch of K-9 grass, top quality, exactly what I needed! Brian even made some helpful suggestions to my puppy potty grass station, which I incorporated and it is that much better.
