My 5-year-old just completed ISR refresher with My Baby Swims and wanted to highlight his progress…read moreand abilities under the instruction of this program. Before ISR, we spent over a year in traditional once a week swim lessons. While he enjoyed the pool, he wasn't swimming independently, showed little advancement and didn't have the skills to get himself to safety. After hearing so many parents recommend Coach Brad, we were fortunate to get into the program. As a healthcare provider, I appreciated the full ISR intake process and personalization of each lesson. They always considered his sleep, diet, and daily routine, and knew exactly when to encourage him while keeping him confident and engaged. Knowing exactly when to challenge a child to advance a skill, when to offer reassurance, and how to do both within the brief window of a young child's attention span is no easy task. My Baby Swims instructors have truly mastered that balance. My son, who once struggled with fear and anxiety when transitioning into the pool area, is now confidently swimming the length of the pool with a huge smile and has the skills to safely navigate the water. Just as importantly, I now have the knowledge and confidence as a parent to continue supporting his progress. Thank you, Coach Brad, Coach Baye, and My Baby Swims, for giving our son the confidence and life-saving skills to be safer in the water.

My two children (2 year old girl and 4 year old boy) both just completed their first 6 week session…read moreof ISR with My Baby Swims and I have nothing but positive things to say. My 4 year old son had significant anxiety about swimming before ISR. He liked to be around pools and water but would often become panicked and upset if his face got wet. This was a huge source of stress for us because many of our family members have pools in their backyards and we know how important water safety is. We had tried swim lessons with 3 different swim schools before My Baby Swims. We could not find any school that actually was able to successfully teach him water safety skills. The other swim schools did not seem to know how to teach a child who had anxiety in the water, and most of his lessons felt like wasted time doing things like blowing bubbles with no actual swimming progress. My son had Brad as his instructor and he was swimming after the first week. The amount of improvement I saw by the end of his 6 weeks feels like a miracle to our family-he is now swimming, floating and getting himself to the wall. He even enjoys swimming now! My 2 year old daughter had coach Baye and we also had a great experience with her. My daughter loved going to lessons everyday-she was so excited she could hardly wait to get in. We are also so impressed by how well she can roll & float on her own now. Overall, My Baby Swims is a time commitment but it was 100% worth it for our family. Swimming is an essential safety skill especially living in California and it is always worth the investment. Brad and his team are all truly amazing at what they do. They are highly skilled and are trained in teaching all types of children-including children who are more anxious about the water. I cannot recommend them enough. We will definitely be back in the future for refreshers!

Our 4-year-old daughter just finished her second round of lessons with John - WOW! Best money I…read morespent. We first brought our daughter to John June 2025 to learn how to swim to safety if she ever fell in the pool. We didn't have a lot of swim time last year but she came back remembering everything and in 10 days was swimming breaststroke. Still in AWWW. We did a second course because we're heading to a vacation home with a pool and no fence. This refresher gave me a lot of peace of mind. We have two older boys (now 13 and 10), and we've done private lessons, group classes... everything when they were 4. We spent way more time and money and I still didn't feel confident in their swimming. He breaks everything into steps and uses one-word cues and the kids instantly know what to do. You can literally see the muscle memory building and it just becomes natural. He genuinely cares about safety - that's the foundation of everything he does. Bottom line: 10 minutes a day for 10 days and my 4-year-old is swimming. Simple, effective, and pretty amazing to see. Highly recommend. You can see the difference

I am sixteen years old. When I was roughly five or younger, I did Swim2John, and after ten days, I…read morecould swim to the side (or 2John!). Nowadays, I am a confident swimmer and enjoy recreational swimming with family. It works! However, never in all my years have I experienced such deep-set dread as when we drove to the pool I was learning in, and I still feel queasy and nervous whenever we pass that turn in the car. Nothing has ever frightened me more, before or since. Yes, I cried every session, just like the website says. We still laugh at the time I ran out of the pool, subconsciously believing that since I'd never seen "Swim2John" exit the pool, he was unable to. He marched over, pulled me out of my dad's lap, and threw me bodily into the water, which to me was like watching a tiger walk out of its enclosure. I remember those ten days better than I remember the birth of my sister. Yet, I highly recommend this program: it's worth it. I may have some lingering stress, but by George, I can swim. And within ten days, too. Just be warned that the instructor may become the recurring antagonist in your children's pretend games. A sincere thank you to Swim2John (whose name in our household will always be "Swim2John" rather than "John").
