Got to try this fish taco spot from a friends recommendation. Their fish tacos were amazing. Great crunch and great fry. The salsa was solid, but not super amazing. Very filling though. Great try!

I got a fish taco and a shrimp taco, both were very good! I would totally get it again and my husband enjoyed his burrito that had carnitas. It's quite affordable for the location (close-ish to the beach). The service was quick and the cashier was nice. I would definitely come back!

A few blocks from the beach with parking in front and a small lot on the side. Order at the counter and food is brought to your table. The fajitas were a super good deal at $17.50 (pre-tax) while other restaurants serving fajitas price them at over $20 (pre-tax). Choice chicken or steak. Came with refried beans, rice, guacamole, salsa, and 4 tortillas. Busy and fast casual with nice workers. Small so only 6 tables inside with few outdoor seating.

My favorite place for Mexican food in HB. Food is prepared fresh to order, the service is friendly and fast, and even thoughts place is always busy it's kept clean.

Come hungry and leave happy. This is an HB staple that never disappoints. It gets busy as you can imagine so don't be that person and ruin everyone else day!! Updated menu as of 08/01... you're welcome.

Loved the decor inside the restaurant , the cashier was very nice, the taquitos were excellent! I got the shredded beef ones , the tortillas were perfectly thin and crispy and the meat inside was delicious juicy and tender! Will be coming back soon for more

    #35. Machaca with Eggs

Delicious!!! Chips and salsa with the order! Salsa was good, warm not hot. Could have a lil less onion. The chips were nice - no salt but with flavor and crispy! I had the machaca plate. The main dish was hot (temperature) but the rice and beans were luke warm at best. We also ordered a wet burrito and it was enjoyed. The flautas were good too and the beans and rice with that meal were hot. But the HORCHATA!!! The BEST me and my daughter have ever had. We ordered the food through a third party delivery and it got to us quickly. I reccomend.

Just outstanding so fresh and delicious, highly recommend the chicken flanta's

I'm personally used to the funnel cakes from fairs and amusement parks that tend to be super crunchy and hard to break into sometimes from being fried too long. But this one.... SOFT. Fresh to order of course. Super easy to tear apart and scoop up the strawberries and whipped cream. I loved the texture, and the strawberries weren't too sweet at all. I think it's such a great sweet treat to have when in HB. There's also other goodies like cookies, brownies and drinks. Customer service was fast, standard, nothing else. & pricing is very fair. They have a small floating side table to eat off of, otherwise you'd eat this outside. It's pretty cramped inside. Parking is on main or in the close by parking garages. No restroom. Tiny lil thang.

Paid street parking with nominal fees were plenty available on a Wednesday afternoon. No lines upon entry and the service was quick and friendly. I got to watch how the funnel cake is created! I love fresh funnel cakes but had no idea what sort of monstrosity I ordered. My sundae came with huge scoops of two flavors of ice cream of my choice. Plus whipped cream and syrups of my choice. I wish I had the foresight to have the ice cream in a separate container to avoid the crispy fluffy funnel cake from going soggy quickly. I liked how not too sweet my ice creams were. The funnel cakes were thick and fluffy albeit a bit soggy due to the melting ice cream. I wouldn't mind revisiting again just to enjoy the treats. It is so worth the visit.

Then, in a stunning display of self-restraint, I ordered another double scoop on a chocolate-dipped cone covered in peanuts. Each one was $12, which sounds expensive until you're standing there holding what is essentially a frozen monument to poor decision-making and happiness. The ice cream was good. Not "I saw God in a waffle cone" good, but genuinely good. Straightforward, tasty, and exactly what I wanted after wandering around Huntington Beach pretending calories don't apply near the ocean. Service was great--friendly, fast, and completely supportive of my quest to consume enough ice cream to alarm a cardiologist. Overall: Good. Would I go back? Absolutely. They must use really good ingredients for their ice cream, doesn't feel like a lot of processed stuff. The ice cream was melting as expected and I didn't feel terrible after eating one by myself. It was just refreshing and joyful. They are located on the southern most side of Pacific City. It's rather tucked away. Once you reach the end of the plaza, go in the building and they are immediately to your left. Staff are friendly. Place is clean. They have a lot of flavors, but sadly you need to buy it to try it. I was disappointed, of course, because some flavors seemed really interesting, but I don't dare try something different if in case I end up not liking enough to regret it. There was another ice cream place up north that had the same policy, but they are so confident about the flavors and quality that they will replace your order completely should you not like it. I don't think this place has that kind of policy, which would discourage me from choosing this place compared to their chain competitor just a block away. Maybe there could be a compromise like, try up to 3 flavors only. That way, I can try three new unique flavors but if I really didn't like them I could still have a great experience with a tried and true favorite. Hope the owner seriously considers this because I think they are great and I want them to thrive! Another great thing about this place is that It isn't a big chain and mass produced. It feels personal and feels very special. I admire people who have such a passion for the craft that they invest in it with time and money, so let's support! Especially when the ice cream is this good.

I saw the line out the door and thought it must be good especially since they have other locations in Southern California. I tried their 4 scoop sampler with the non dairy coffee ice cream, butter pecan, mocha almond fudge and strawberry cheesecake. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the mocha almond fudge was good, creamy, chocolatey with a smooth consistency. The staff were super friendly and the place was clean, like spotless. That's where the positives end. The non dairy coffee scoop tasted like the just froze some old coffee, it was bitter and I spit it out. The strawberry cheesecake had weird squares of what I assume was supposed to be cheesecake but tasted more like a gummy with artificial flavoring, those two scoops were thrown out. The butter pecan I finished but it was too sweet, something I'd never thought I'd say, and it melted almost immediately in the 80+ degree heat into sugar water with a piece of pecan in it. As mentioned before the mocha almond fudge was pretty good, perhaps people get that flavor and that's why the line was out the door. I saw some people get shakes so maybe those are better, but I won't be coming back to give it a shot. Cold stone, Mr. Softee, Rori's, McDonald's, Dairy Queen, etc etc all offer better ice cream options. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

I ended up getting off early so I called and asked if it would be available for 5PM. The associate told me "No it won't be ready, it would be ready closer to 6:30." We then agreed that I could stop by closer to their closing time (9pm) since I don't live in the area. I could drive home then come back to pick it up. I arrived at 8:15PM, the associate tells me when I arrive "I'm so sorry it's not ready, I thought you'd be here closer to 8:45PM." I say "No worries I'll come back at 8:45PM." I come back to pick up the cake. It comes out hot and newly decorated with icing. 10 minutes down the road I check the cake, and the icing is completely melted. By then it's 9pm and I can't turn around to go back to the store. The next morning around 11am I called the store to speak with the manager. I leave my contact info, and I receive a call within 20 minutes from the store manager, Dustin. I explain the situation and how the cake is not presentable anymore for the birthday event I ordered it for. He apologizes and offers a dozen cookies or a refund. Since there's no time for me to drive back to Huntington Beach for a party that is in Pasadena within the next hour, we opt for the refund and Dustin states, "This is my personal number, I'll shoot you a text when that refund goes through." A week later, no refund, no communication, no follow-up. I called Dustin one more time, left a voicemail and one additional text just incase. Over the course of several days, still no response. Suffice to say, it is what it is. I just wanted a refund for the cake that I bought which I ended up not even bringing to the event I got it for because of the melted icing. TLDR: product wasn't ready at the time it was agreed upon to be ready, when product was picked up it was faulty, the manager offered a refund that never came and ghosted me
