Service was great. The kid/ young man behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Ambiance- small little spot down place with outdoor seating as well (3 tables with enoughspace for 4-8 peeps depending on size of individual) Food was tasty and hot to serve. I tried fiesta grill for the first time last night. There's a decent amount of parking and it's in a good area close to the beach. This place is always busy and I can see why. The guy taking orders was friendly and professional. I ordered a crunchy potato taco and a fish taco with fried fish as well as an order of chips and salsa. My only minor complaint is that they charge for chips and salsa. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and like they were both made in house. I usually go out to taco nazo for fish and potato tacos but this place is my new go to for them. The servings are generous and everything was delicious and fresh. read more

Fiesta Grill might as well be called Steph Curry Grill... this place does not miss. I've tried a good mix of their menu--surf & turf burrito, wet asada burrito, California burrito, and the salsa con chile combo--and every single time it's been on point. Today I called in the shrimp combo plate, and once again... no complaints. The seasoning is always dialed in, portions are solid, and the food comes out consistently good. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. Customer service is great--friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The whole spot has a chill, homey vibe that makes you want to come back. A few blocks from the beach with parking in front and a small lot on the side. Order at the counter and food is brought to your table. The fajitas were a super good deal at $17.50 (pre-tax) while other restaurants serving fajitas price them at over $20 (pre-tax). Choice chicken or steak. Came with refried beans, rice, guacamole, salsa, and 4 tortillas. Busy and fast casual with nice workers. Small so only 6 tables inside with few outdoor seating. read more

I was recommended this place because the chips and salsa are suppose to be really good. They're not. The chips are super bland, the salsa really watery. I also got two fish tacos, one grilled and one fried. The grilled barely tasted grilled. I think it was baked and maybe thrown on a grill really lightly. It was really hard to finish. The fried was better, but still not amazing. They wrap the tacos in two tortillas, the store bought kind. Which for the store bought kind I think was too much tortilla. There were times I tasted more tortilla than taco. I'm not sure why people think this place is any good. People think they know what good Mexican food is. Maybe I got the off-cook that day? A hole in the wall restaurant that was perfect for lunch. There is little seating inside but there are also a few tables outside. We got carne asada fries and my goodness they were delicious!!! I was craving shredded beef nachos but didn't feel like going anywhere to get them. I searched reviews for nachos near me and this place popped up. With my grubhub discount through Amazon Prime, delivery was practically free so I decided to go for it. The food arrived quickly and still hot. I wish I would have taken a photo first, but I dug in right away. They did not disappoint!! They didn't skimp on the delicious guacamole or the sour cream or any of the ingredients, to be honest. The main dish was hot (temperature) but the rice and beans were luke warm at best. We also ordered a wet burrito and it was enjoyed.The flautas were good too and the beans and rice with that meal were hot. But the HORCHATA!!! The BEST me and my daughter have ever had. First time visiting this spot. My husband and I both ordered the #9 breakfast burrito with added bacon and beans. I was expecting whole beans, so I was a little surprised to find refried beans instead. Because of that, it felt like there was barely any egg in the burrito--definitely more beans than anything else. There was a good amount of bacon though. On the plus side, everything tasted fresh, and the spicy salsa was really flavorful. I also tried the agua de jamaica, which was refreshing, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste. My husband thought the burrito was too salty, but I personally enjoyed it. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the place is great--chill and unpretentious, a cozy little hole-in-the-wall kind of spot. This is a tiny hidden gem in Huntington Beach. They have 2 locations and at times lines are long outside. To go and sit down service. I scrolled pass countless restaurants and at least 4 Yelp reviews of other Mexican restaurants before I ordered here. The biggest reason I ordered here were the flautas and that a combination plate with rice and beans were an option. So how did it taste? Flautas - coming in hot is always something I appreciate. The options in the app were for a red sauce or green sauce, no sauce came. There was an option to remove the guacamole and the sour cream which I selected "no" to both on my order. The portion size was great, they remembered my extra pico I order but I'm not a fan of sour cream or guacamole. If you're in the mood for a Mexican diner this is not a bad option. Despite being the best culinary city in the world, NYC reportedly doesn't have good tacos. I often hear this from Californians. I got tacos here and they were great, but I don't think they were exponentially better than the ones in NYC. I got the two shrimp taco combo which came with a bag of chips and salsa as well as refried beans with rice for about 14 dollars. I got an additional Baja fish taco. If I could re do this, I should've just gotten 3-4 tacos and forgo the combo as the rice and beans were nothing to write home about. I had not been here in a while as I don't live in the area but was visiting and took my son. This place still is awesome. 2 hard shell carnitas tacos were always my go to and they are still soooo good. I tried my son's quesadilla and it was awesome. The flavor of the beef was so good. I ate here for the first time today. I had the chimichanga. It was delicious!! A nice crispy outer shell, not greasy at all. It was stuffed full of well seasoned chicken. It comes with rice and beans, both very good! The chips could have a little more salt but that's the only possible complaint.
