I really hope this place never closes. It's such a family tradition, and it makes me happy just walking by this place. I had the strawberry yogurt this time, half dipped with nuts. It was sooo good on a hot day, even better enjoying it by the pool at the hotel

Good strawberry drink but it was super sweet! Boba is chewy. 7/10! Nice and quick service

The boba is surprisingly really good LOL!! (even though it's mainly ice cream) I got brown sugar milk tea w boba. I've gotten this one multiple times and it's consistent

Great service. One server did everything. My drink and make my popbar. Ambiance is slow at first but while she was making my drink, long line of customers formed. But server didn't sweat about it. She took one customer at a time and conquered the line. I ordered the cookie and cream popbar topped with marshmallows topping and it totally hit the spot for me. Great combo and will order again in the future.

The chocolate dipped cheesecake was amazing. We got one in dark chocolate and graham crackers. The other one with milk chocolate and coconut. I think I'm obsessed....

Popbar has been a long time favorite of mine! I usually get Pistachio popGelato with Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut and White Chocolate Drizzle. I've also had a Vanilla Sundae popGelato. Sometimes I get Matcha. I would go out of my way to come here. The pistachio flavor is amazing, it's my favorite! Ok I haven't tried every single flavor to say it's the best but I have tried some others, they are good but so far I've liked pistachio the most. Green Tea is my second favorite. Vanilla is good too but not my top choice. Get any flavor you want, you can't go wrong, they'll all be good. I like that the ice cream is hard enough to stay on a stick but once you bite into it, it's nice and soft and chewy, creamy, has a good bite, not overly hard. I love that you can dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sides on top, these are a must do. I don't know any other ice cream place that sells ice cream on a stick like this, it's very unique here. This one is located in Lot 579 at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Lot 579 is a food hall and Pacific City is a shopping plaza. It's right across from Huntington State Beach, walkable distance, love that. There is a big parking structure. It's free with validation for the first 2-3 hours depending on the day you go. If you pass this time, you'll have to pay. They offer parking validation here. Service is really friendly. There is some seating inside. You could also go outside and sit at the blocks in Pacific City or just walk around and eat. The inside and outside is very nice, casual yet modern. I think price is fair accounting for inflation, I think the ice cream bar is big but not too big, a good size with the right price, worth it.

    Delicious pop bars.

Refreshing snack, dessert, or anytime treat. Choose your flavor of ice cream or sorbet. Many choices to select from. Then choose a topping. I like dark chocolate dip. And then choose what to roll the entire bar into, Whether it be finely chopped nuts or sprinkles. They have coffees too but while it was ok, I usually like my coffee stronger.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Food: I got the green tea popgelato since it sounded perfect for a sunset stroll by the beach. The green tea one is not too sweet, although I would've liked a stronger green tea flavor. Service: The service was great--they even pulled out a fresh popgelato from the back after hearing I have a peanut allergy. I like that they give you the popgelato on a paper wrapper--perfect to catch those drops as it melts. They also ask if you need to validate your parking, which is much appreciated. Ambiance: The shop is inside a food hall area, just steps away from the beach. There is seating inside the food hall, but I'd recommend going out to the water :)

I love Pop Bar for their popsicle and smoothie creations! I have been to the Pop Bar in Santa Monica and the location in Santa Monica before finally trying this location in Huntington Beach, and they all lived up to their delicious standards. My go-to favorite is their strawberry sorbeto pop dipped in dark chocolate with and almonds coconut shreds. Today, I also enjoyed the passion fruit sorbet pop also dipped in dark chocolate with almonds and coconut shreds. Both were light, delicious and hit the spot for my sweets craving. Now that I know where this Pop Bar is, I'll be going here more often! For reference, it's located in the food court by the Old Crow Smokehouse

Food: AMAZING, CREATIVE Popsicle Bars!!! The flavors are unique and the toppings add glamor to the pics (they taste great and add the crunch and texture to your popbars. Service: made to order right there Design: interiors is part of the larger Lot 579 Food Hall; they have a narrow seating area with fun artwork all inspired by the popbar shape Overall: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place for a tasty dessert

Shoutout to Gus, who made the whole experience even better--super friendly, patient while we sampled, and gave great recommendations. So I'm just not understanding what the fuss is about with this place that's been popping up all…read moreover. I saw the line out the door and thought it must be good especially since they have other locations in Southern California. I tried their 4 scoop sampler with the non dairy coffee ice cream, butter pecan, mocha almond fudge and strawberry cheesecake. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the mocha almond fudge was good, creamy, chocolatey with a smooth consistency. The staff were super friendly and the place was clean, like spotless. That's where the positives end. The non dairy coffee scoop tasted like the just froze some old coffee, it was bitter and I spit it out. The strawberry cheesecake had weird squares of what I assume was supposed to be cheesecake but tasted more like a gummy with artificial flavoring, those two scoops were thrown out. The butter pecan I finished but it was too sweet, something I'd never thought I'd say, and it melted almost immediately in the 80+ degree heat into sugar water with a piece of pecan in it. As mentioned before the mocha almond fudge was pretty good, perhaps people get that flavor and that's why the line was out the door. I saw some people get shakes so maybe those are better, but I won't be coming back to give it a shot. Cold stone, Mr. Softee, Rori's, McDonald's, Dairy Queen, etc etc all offer better ice cream options. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

They must use really good ingredients for their ice cream, doesn't feel like a lot of processed stuff. The ice cream was melting as expected and I didn't feel terrible after eating one by myself. It was just refreshing and joyful. They are located on the southern most side of Pacific City. It's rather tucked away. Once you reach the end of the plaza, go in the building and they are immediately to your left. Staff are friendly. Place is clean. They have a lot of flavors, but sadly you need to buy it to try it. I was disappointed, of course, because some flavors seemed really interesting, but I don't dare try something different if in case I end up not liking enough to regret it. There was another ice cream place up north that had the same policy, but they are so confident about the flavors and quality that they will replace your order completely should you not like it. I don't think this place has that kind of policy, which would discourage me from choosing this place compared to their chain competitor just a block away. Maybe there could be a compromise like, try up to 3 flavors only. That way, I can try three new unique flavors but if I really didn't like them I could still have a great experience with a tried and true favorite. Hope the owner seriously considers this because I think they are great and I want them to thrive! Another great thing about this place is that It isn't a big chain and mass produced. It feels personal and feels very special. I admire people who have such a passion for the craft that they invest in it with time and money, so let's support! Especially when the ice cream is this good.
