Great fresh food veggies and meats. One word of advice do not go here if you are looking to get the meat from the butcher or the deli side cause they close at 10p but by 9p they are closing down both departments and they will tell you they can cut any thing cause the machines have been cleaned. So you are out of luck. The employees are more concerned on leaving than taking care of the customers. The service is not the same. Ummm your hours say you close at 10p so I expect to get what I need even if it's 930p. If your deli and meat department closes at 9p than it should be advertised. read more

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE A 0 STAR REVIEW! THEY HAVE THE WORST EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! As someone who works in communication and customer service THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I simply wanted to ask a question about where I pay for a propane exchange and there were 3 girls all bundled up speaking when I approached an employee who wasn't assisting customers and asked one question when all three looked at me like they didn't know what I was asking and they told me that I needed to have a cart to shop here yet I had just finished shopping here. ( and with the exact register lady) And I just went back to ask about my propane tank. And they started yelling and saying random unnecessary stuff. Super unacceptable. I am truly bothered because it seems like every time I shop here all the employees seem to have an attitude about any questions being asked! So disappointed that this happened and definitely think they should talk to employees about customer service. And for the employees who are simply unhappy working here. This is a small, nice, clean grocery store with a great meat and produce selection. They have a nice deli too. Very friendly staff. I do not speak Spanish and I have not had any issues ordering or communicating with the staff. The prices are very reasonable. Every time I walk out I have a ton groceries for the money. read more

They may have good variety, but employees are rude as hell! And... if you ask to speak to the manager, they'll tell you to go to hell! They can't speak understandable English, but if you speak to them in Spanish, they will refuse to speak in Spanish. This is not a one time deal, and I have heard similar comments from friends and family. Never again will I set foot there. They may think they are hot stuff, especially since Carniceria Jimenez closed, but guess what? I do some grocery shopping at this grocery store about every other week. They have a big selection of fruits and vegetables. They also have a big variety of meats, seafood and deli. The best part is that they have ready to eat food to go as well. My favorite in the chicken mole is ready to eat when you get it. The store overall has good prices and is maintain real good. You will find lots of products here. It's a little out of my way but is worth the drive. read more

My wife bought catfish and chicken from the and she question if some of the meat was any good. Brought it home 3 weeks later she took the fish out and it was bad. So she decided to cook the chicken and the chicken was bad. Went to the store to talk to the manager about it and he rudely told me we dont sale bad meat. I recently moved to the Schaumburg area from northwest Indiana. I was so used to the low prices and taxes in Indiana when I moved here I was so shocked by the high prices. It is also really hard to find an inexpensive Mexican grocery store in Schaumburg. It is a bit of a drive for me but it is worth it because I can get all my groceries and fresh produce in one trip. I also really love that there is an Aldi next door and a bakery (PLUS: there is a Michoacana inside the bakery). I really do all my shopping during that one trip. The store itself is always very clean and fully stocked and they have a rewards program as well. I definitely signed up since I will be a frequent shopper. read more

Fiesta has the lowest prices around! My mother used to always shop here when I was younger now I got my own place a block away and I even walk sometimes when I need something small. The girls at the registers are very fast, so its rare that lines build up by the bunch. I heard they are expanding the store and I'm excited! Their manager is a great leader! I have seen him bag items when it gets very busy. If you love Mexican food they also have rice,beans, different meats cooked and ready to go. Also for those salsa lovers they have a good 4-5 prepared I always make mine but on those days that you just want to hurry n cook to eat I get them. I also love that they have a rewards card too for even more deals that they already have! read more

Good deli counter with exceptionally low prices (prices are by the pound,not half pound!), good ready made food, whole rotissarie chickens are always fully cooked (Unlike most of the chain stores), juicy, fresh (because they disappear quickly) and delicious and $5. Refrigerated section features packaged mexican cheeses, and some locally made smoked sausages, and a lot of FUD hotdogs, Cold beer, low priced gallons of milk, and low priced eggs; and Tropicana OJ in its many varieties, sometimes on sale. In house made guacamole and salsa fresh, but in only one size. Carnitas are very popular here (all parts). Boxed goods are overpriced. Stick with the fresh items, and featured on saledry goods checking dates. Also check the spice/dried chilli/herb isle for specialties. Good source for holiday time banana/plantain leaves, corn husks, masa, and house rendered pork fat (lard), usually ready available ask at hot food counter, as they make carnitas often, every day. They have a bakery shelf near the front that is stocked bt the neighboring Azteca Bakery, which can be a time saver. Will cash your paycheck at no charge if making a purchase of even a single lime. In house made sausages (chorizo) all excellent. I prefer the Salvadoran pork chorizo (less spicy and more garlic) to the mexican, all is incredibly LEAN and minimally salted and comes out very tender at $1.99 a pound, a price that has held for several years! Their ground chuck at the counter,has consistantly proven leaner than advertised, and is low liquid, very tastey. They also always have ground chicken fresh at the counter, as well as prepackaged. Always a good price on tilapia filets and breaded fresh thin chicken breast (pechuga) as well. Decent prices on shrimp, etc. and their daily prices on all meats are always good, their featured prices are crazy fantastic on meats. Have been shopping here for years and have transitioned 70 percent of my monthly food budget spent to this store and have increased my value and volume by 350% In otherwords, U spend much less and get much more. Additionally, they have a points rewards program, so be sure to sign up for and use your rewards card every time you visit. Aldi's at the opposite corner of the strip mall for those interested. Store opens at 7:30 AM, convenient for 3rd shifters on the way home. Clean, high turnover high volume on produce, meats and seafood, friendly staff, attentive and responsive management. All products are at a great price. However the employees are so rude. Younger (teenagers) cashiers are rude. The older women are not rude but yet not really friendly to the customers. The guys in the deli section again are rude and disrespectful. Complained on 7/2/16 about one of the guys back there. This place used to be great when it first opened up many years ago, not sure if has new owners or what over the last couple of years . I used to shop there once a week but their prices went up and they stopped making thier own Pico , salsas , carrots and peppers mix and started selling pre-maid by some company and I just didnt care for it.all . For me this store is just way too small and very crowded to try and move a cart around . It's ok if you only need a few things that will fit in a basket .They dont have big selection of dry groceries and their items that are on sale are always the same thing every week , Yesterday I went here for the first time in years because the other local Hispanic Market I had been shopping at closed down. I was surprised that they wanted $3.99 for 24 pk of water and $3.99 for a pineapple. I left there and went to the Jewel , as they had them both each for a dollar cheaper than here. I have to say the cashiers and staff were friendly. I will not be shopping here as I can see it has not changed for the good. read more
