I was severely disappointed in this restaurant based of the previous high reviews. The servers were rushed and blunt. They didn't take the time to even ask how we were doing and it was not busy at the restaurant. The food is overall bland and boring. They were all out of carnitas which seemed odd so we went with chicken and al pastor. The Al pastor meat was either very dry and hard or fatty pieces. The chips were yummy but the salsa had hardly any flavor. And the guacamole was so so bad! It looks very yummy but it had an awful soapy/almost floral taste to it and a weird texture. We ended up not eating very much food. Save yourself the trip and pick a different restaurant.

Chips and salsa! Let's see how good it is.

Arrived on a Friday around 1130. Was instantly seated. This is a converted warehouse with a kitchen. Decor isn't much. Waitress was really kind and offered us chips and salsa, along with Diet Pepsi by bottle or fountain. We chose fountain. Wife had rolled tacos with chicken and I had cheese enchiladas. After eating at Merry Piglets and being disappointed this place is definitely better. Pros: great service, amazing rice - seriously it was delicious. Cons: chicken lacked flavor, chips seemed to be off (they were warm, but extra "corny") Overall food is decent - best in Jackson as of today! Not the best Mexican food ever though.

Great if you want a side of food with your oil. Flavor was very lacking on all three. Rice was bland and VERY oily. Both beans and rice didn't seem seasoned. Chicken was bland and the salsa tasted like lime - nothing else.

Wow - literally outstanding, 5-star Mexican food! Everything was delicious from the fresh hot chips with perfectly executed red salsa to the tequila shots and Pacificos. The wet burrito with the light green sauce (can't recall the name) was BOMB - we ordered an extra side for my chicken fajitas (which were delicious! All breast meat with lots of grilled peppers and onions and nice rice and beans with lots of corn tortillas). The atmosphere is basic but the food and the customer service are not - everything was excellent and we cannot wait to come back to this fantastic little local business!

The best margaritas. The chicken is tender and juicy. Chip came warm. Staff is wonderful. It's our place to go now.

The Tex-Mex Cookbook. Two things I found interesting were that instead of the standard red and green salsa served this restaurant serve serves a kind of spicy coleslaw along with the red salsa. Additionally, I learned that what we think of as Piccadilly, ground beef with nuts, raisins, peppers; here, it is just shredded beef what I know of as carne deshebrada. But because of my love of the cuisine of Mexico, I always like to check out how it varies in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and now Wyoming. And then something interesting happened. Our waitress told us she was fine Honduras and I had the aha moment. Repoyo!!! Like one has with pupusas! Service. Ambiance.

I stood in the entryway waiting to be acknowledged and eventually had to look around the corner to find someone. The hostess finally noticed me, but she appeared more interested in her phone than assisting customers. Meanwhile, an employee making tortillas clearly saw me waiting but never alerted anyone or offered assistance. I eventually found a menu to place a takeout order, but the hostess disappeared again, leaving me waiting at the front for another 10 minutes. During that time, I repeatedly made eye contact with staff, yet no one offered help or even acknowledged that I was waiting. After looking around the corner a second time, I found the hostess once again focused on her phone. To make matters worse, the restaurant phone appeared to be off the hook, making it impossible for customers to call. After waiting far longer than I should have without any assistance, I finally left. Based on this experience, it certainly felt like they had no interest in serving customers.

I was also really impressed with the wine system; you picked out a bottle from the wine shop (from their amazing selection), brought it over to your own table, and the server corked it with no additional fee. Walking up, the outside is very unassuming, even to the point that I almost second guessed our decision, but don't let that deter you. The inside is half wine shop liquor store, half intimate tapas wine bar. There's several long tables for communal dining and a few spots at the bar. During happy hour, all of their drinks are half off as well as their burratas and cheese plates. I got a nice dry rose which was fantastic. For an early evening bite, we got the fried artichokes and the mushroom burrata plate and both were excellent. Overall, this is a cozy spot to bring a friend, a date, or even your parents. The food is fantastic and the drink selection is sure to please everyone. I believe they will also allow you to purchase a bottle at their store to open and drink at the restaurant (corking fee may be required). A hidden gem for sure. Insider tip - if you're splitting the bill, pay attention to the calculated tips. They will charge the full tip on each half rather than calculating it on each half total.

The name is disguised as "an entry point with a first number") tour starting at Mt. Rushmore with multiple stops in between ending at the Grand Tetons. This was our final ending meal together. First, I know the management prepared for us. We had to select the entrees a couple of days before. Second, we were seated next to the circular wall towards the street, very accommodating. Noise factor was good to excellent because of the high ceilings (the industrial look you know with exposed duct work now popular.) Third, finally the food what you really want to know... All of us had the house salad. It was lightly dressed which I appreciated since some restaurants over dress or use a harsh vinaigrette. I had their beef steaks which the tour written description was a fillet, restaurant menu list as a ribeye. I 'm not going to complain because it was accurately seared. I asked for mine medium and another asked for medium well. Both were slightly under which was good. Presentation was excellent they did change from sweet potatoes to a couscous ( I think) which was a good switch and tasty. My spouse had the rainbow trout and it was amazing! It a good size, as again presentation was great! Tasted good too! Not dry. Another person had the truffle pasta and there was a poached egg on top. What a surprise! They said it tasted good! If you want someone on the other menu section of yelp list just what was offered to us with a detailed description. The dessert was their donut holes (very crispy and tasty) with three dipping sauces. We had soft drinks and there was a double pour. Every thing came out in a timely manner! Amazing again for such a large group. Check'm out, they're good!

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)
