Delicious Mexican spot that my sister recommended!! They start you off with complimentary fresh salsa and crispy warm tortilla chips. I ordered the Mexican style tacos and my sister ordered the fajitas, we devoured it. Also, the fresh lime juice margarita was excellent. Their frozen margarona was one of the best I have had. It had light sweetness but not over cloying. CHIPS AND SLASA is staple to Mexican restaurants and theirs are thin, crisp and served warm. Very tasty. The salsa was very good. It's fresh tasting and had just a touch of pepper heat. It's not hot by any means but more just a pepper flavor. Service was spectacular. I actually didn't like my entree and couldn't eat it. They offered to get me something else but my family had finished their food so I opted out. I didn't ask for discount but they didn't charge me for my dish. It wasn't necessary but a very nice gesture. I paid them for it in the tip anyway (big tip). So what didn't I like? The Pineapple Rellene. I had never seen this dish before and knew I was taking a risk, but it sounded really good. It was a half pineapple stuffed with beef, chicken and shrimp. Busy night. But we were seated quickly. Our server was new and had no idea what gluten free meant but was willing to go ask. I was disappointed to hear the Tamal contained flour instead of just cornmeal. There were 2 sauces to enjoy with the chips. Mixed together was a nice heat. Our go to is fajitas and that was a great choice. I usually skip the shells and just use the chips. Big shrimp nice amount of chicken and steak. We usually love fiesta mexicana but our last visit was not good. Service was unbelievably slow. I am a server and I understand being busy but my server was not busy. Drinks empty the entire time,chip basket empty, food came from food runners and our server Noe never came back until we were done with our meal. We asked for an extra cup of cheese when ordering for our ACP it never came out, we never even had the opportunity to ask him for it because he didn't come back to the table until everyone finished eating. When the check came, the extra cheese was on the check and we had to get it taken off. Another table our server had was complaining to a manager. It was a Saturday night and it was busy but our waiter was not busy. He was chatting with people at the bar while we were waiting on refills and our extra cheese lol. You know a good Mexican restaurant always has great salsa and fresh chips, this place is no exception. The prices were reasonable. Customer Service After hours (10pm-until close): 2.5 stars: they are friendly to sit you, after that the service is rushed and indifferent. Our server got a lousy tip because he was lousy.. hate to say that but he had the "hurry up and order, eat, and be gone approach. Kind of not his fault any one in the 90s on up seriously lack social skills and don't comprehend the meaning of customer service. Food: 3 stars: it's neither bad nor remarkable. After hours your only options are grubby pubs/bars, waffle house, taco bell, maybe IHOP and Dennys, and then this place. It's decent, don't come here expecting food that's going to knock your socks off, it's run of the mill. The birria wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The fajitas tasted like typical fajitas. The chips weren't "fresh" but they weren't stale lol the salsa was watery and salty, but when you have spent all day at the beach this shyt will do. It's not great **shrugs** but it's not bad. Price point: 2.5 stars: $17 for birria that isn't great sucks but $17 for birria that's good it's worth it. Here was definitely not worth it lol the consume was lackluster af! The guacamole was $7 and it's really pathetic they dilute it down with sour cream. Soft drinks are $3.50 and refillable, the sweet tea is $2.50 I didn't trust the sweet tea this late in the game. Fajitas, birria, a soft drink, and guacamole will set you back $49, the taxes here are insane! Lol the portion size to price point isn't realistic in my opinion. Cleanliness: 3 stars: it's the end of the night so they are doing closing duties. Overall opinion: it's decent... my husband still full from earlier so he just nibbled from my plate, he felt the same very indifferent. It hits the spot if you had to choose between here and waffle house I suppose. Would I come back? Probably not... I'd rather rough it out till morning and have breakfast somewhere. The plus side is they are the only act that stays open super late. The kitchen closes at 1145pm so make sure you get here at least before 11pm, we got here at 1030p and they was shoving us out the door by 1120pm lol I get it, dealing with tourists suck, but its the tourists keeping this mediocre place opinion, not the locals. the locals are in bed by 9pm **cackles** just don't come here expecting much, we didn't that's why I'm them a 3 to be fair. read more

What a fun place to have a late night dinner. Open till 1 or 2 am. It's lively music and colorful decor make it a must try on your myrtle beach food journey. Must Try- made to order table side guacamole! They come up with a little cart. So cool. The Tacos Suaderos-Absolutely delicious!! Just the right amount of food. The meat was well cooked, slightly crispy, well-flavored. Homemade tortillas and lovely accompaniments. Highly recommend this dish. The Carne Tampiqueño was amazing. Steak cooked perfectly. So tender. The cheese enchiladas where some of the best I've had. The Agua Frescas are humongous! So refreshing and delicious. We had the Horchata and the Pina . Our waitress was a delight! Not much can beat a $5 jumbo margarita and great Mexican food! We went for lunch on New Year's Eve. Lots of people but we were seated immediately. Tatiana was an excellent server, checking in often but not too often. All of the staff were dressed up for New Year's and very friendly. We opted for just two appetizers, the Sampler Platter and the mussels. Both were really good, and while everything on the sampler is tasty, the chicken wings were amazing. The service and staff here were so friendly and great! Our meal was quite delicious although the rice, in our opinion, was not good at all. It was dry and flavorless. It also had potatoes in it, which I've never had in my rice before and would really rather that not be in it. The other thing that we did not enjoy, was they had a live performer there, (not sure if that's a regular thing) which was literally right behind us, and it was so loud and distracting. We sort of just wanted to rush through our meal so we didn't have to have that noise going on right in our ears. Another positive thing was everything was super clean, and well taken care of. The bathrooms were absolutely beautiful and well maintained! I would like to go back and actually sit outside in the evening, that area looked really adorable, and there are definitely some other things on the menu we would love to try. read more

I've eaten here many times and the food has always been good ( for east coast Mexican food). I don't know what happened but things have changed. The prices are up ($4.50 for a soft drink) and the portions are down. The beans and rice, once great, were tasteless. The burrito is now the size of a small enchilada. It was wrapped in a small (not burrito size) flour tortilla. So small it could only be rolled and open on the ends like an enchilada. The server even said the changed to smaller tortillas. Seems they are cutting a lot of things to save a penny everywhere possible. Not sure I will be back, unless it is to give it one last try to see if this was just a fluke. I have come to this restaurant numerous times and every single visit was always fantastic! We have sat inside, outside, during holiday parties and late night quick bites. The service and staff are always friendly and are on their A game. The ambiance inside and out is always lively and fun. Even if you are just seating at the bar counter, the bartenders always make it a great time. They can even bring out the crew member with the cart to make the fresh guacamole (when ordered) for you while having some drinks. When it comes to the food, this location NEVER DISAPPOINTS. Especially for the price the food is made fresh, delicious seasoning and flavors, and served in a timely manner even when it's a full house. The tacos are great, nachos served hot, burritos, quesadillas, mexican rice and refried beans always hit the spot. I especially love to start out with their queso fundido that comes with some meat mixed in. If you want to pig out the combinations (#1-3) are a great deal since it's only an extra $2-3 for an extra entree item such as a chimichanga, quesadilla, taco etc served with a side of rice and beans as well. If you're in the area this place will never disappoint in service and food. They also occasionally have live music acts and food specials advertised outside on a weekly basis too! read more

The sopatillas were tasty with the fried ice cream. The caramel flavor was nice and light, perfectly topped with the whip cream.
