Food was pretty good, Service was also descent. Very typical Mexican restaurant feel. Overall, I would recommend if in the area.

All was going well. Friendly staff, good food. Once got bill, realised I had been overcharged on two glasses of wine. Menu gave prices as $6 per glass but had been charged $11 per glass, when I queried, staff were unable to give an explanation nor point out this price anywhere on the menu. Initially, staff tried to explain it away by saying $6 was price for house wine rather than named brands. I pointed out I had asked for house sauvignon blanc, and requested they show me the $11 glasses on the menu, it was acknowledged this did not exist. I was then told 'we can make you a discount' as though it was a discount rather than a refund for being overcharged. I told them to keep it if it meant that much to them. Made worse by minimum tip being 20%. Felt super ripped off. Won't come again. read more

Fiesta time amigos always hits the spot!! I have also visited their two other locations in Louisville and they are all consistently delicious!! My go to dishes are their chorizo queso dip, fajitas, and the fajita quesadilla. My mom ordered the tortilla soup and loved it! Everything comes out hot and the ingredients seem fresh. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They always made sure our drinks were refilled. We sat on the patio so I didn't see much of the inside but the patio was nice and the umbrellas kept us cool. Every time I'm back in KY I make sure to stop in at one of their locations. I went to dinner at Fiesta Time Mexican Grill with a work group, and we had a great dinner! The service was good, and the food was tasty. Everything was served hot, and our drinks were constantly refilled, which I always appreciate. This spot is your typical casual Mexican restaurant. I had an entree that was chicken, cheese, rice, and beans. Fairly basic, but tasted good. I haven't had a lot of experience with this spot, since I've only been for the one meal, but overall I think it's a fine spot for dinner. read more

I am giving this restaurant a 5-star review because they have the best Mini Chimichangas I've ever had! I am definitely coming back for those! We went at 3pm on a Sunday so it wasn't very busy. The food is always good here. The staff are very friendly. I always ask for Caroline because she's wonderful. They have the best quesadilla fajitas in Louisville. The drinks are good. The picante sauce with their chips is delicious. Their queso is good. It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants here in Louisville. Like a creature of habit I've been getting the quesadilla fajitas almost every time I go there because they're so so good. I recommend this place. The food is mediocre Mexican. I ordered the al cabron burrito, there was little to no queso. The steak wasn't seasoned that well and the chips tasted old and stale. The rice was about the only good thing. My order was ready after about 10 mins but the man didn't grab the bag for me until about 25 mins so my food ended up being cold. Second time stopping in. On recommendation of a good friend I tried the gorditas with steak instead of the chicken. Perfect char on juicy steak slices, charred flat bread and a "just enough" spicy chipotle sauce combine to make a simply outstanding dish. My wife and our friends each said they enjoyed what they got as well. They each had drinks from the bar, and all were very complimentary of the food, drinks and the fine service we received... I'm a little embarrassed to admit, I'm still having trouble remembering past those gorditas. They are on the other side of town from me, and google maps struggled with getting me to the location, but I'm betting I will have no trouble finding my way back on my next day off! read more

This is a very popular restaurant. I think they have the best Mexican food in all of Louisville. My family eats here frequently. Many times I have seen parties of 6 to 20 eating there. Most times they seem to just walk in with no reservation. The bar is often very busy. Frequently close to capacity. The employees are very accommodating. I'm often able to order an off menu item. If you like delicious chimichangas and huge margaritas, you must give Fiesta Time a try! I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed. It's not great, but I know someone who lives down the street from here, and we just go here because it's fairly priced and pretty good. The apps are where it's really at though. Definitely shareable apps unlike a lot of places. ( I like to eat ) The service is pretty solid. I will definitely give them that. Everyone's overall, pretty dang nice. The food was adequately good and the service was very friendly without being under or overly attentive. I had the lunch tamale plate, with rice and beans. As with most Mexican restaurants that serve chips and salsa, these chips were fresh and the salsa was not bad. My meal came out quickly, it was flavorfully tasting, a solid 7 out of ten. Not bad in my opinion for a quick lunch. I'd have to revisit for a deeper review, but I would come back if in the area. I've been here a few times and have yet to have a bad experience. I know some people may have had problems in the past with service and I think some of those may be communication issues due to language barriers. Also, I don't think some of the staff are primarily servers but fill that role when they are busy and the business suffers from it since it is not their main role in the establishment. I'm not making excuses but merely stating some observations based on my experience thus far. I was introduced to this restaurant via word of mouth. I had driven by it a few times but never stopped in to eat. To be honest, the sign on the building isn't quite appealing and I felt it may reflect the experience and/or the quality of the food/service. This is far from the truth. When I first visit a Mexican restaurant I always go with the safe Taco dinner. This is mainly because.... If they can't get a taco dinner right, it's not worth checking out the rest of the menu. Since I've been there a few times, that means they got the tacos right. I've also had the Carnitas plate and recently had their Bistec Mexicana plate. Both were great and the Bistec was so good I took it home and reheated it in the morning for breakfast. Steak and eggs, sounds delicious, amirite? And it was great the next morning. Now, I would have to say, hands down the best dish I've had there.... The Guacamole Mario appetizer. Yup, this is not your typical order of Guacamole. This is a platter of Holy Guacamole! I love guac, and this may seem like an insignificant dish to some, but I don't care.... I love guac! This dish was so good, I took a picture of it and attached to this review. First, there is a group of women standing outside as we approach the door. We ask these women, ? Hey! How's the food in there?? They all respond in unison, ? it's excellent!?... We enter and see that the establishment is pack to the gills with people, which we then thought confirmed the ladies comments. We were seated immediately which was nice and then everything went down hill. 1.Waiter barely spoke English. 2.Nothing authentic Mexican on menu. 3.Order took forever to arrive. 4. Food was over priced and UN-Mexican. 5. The chips are bagged not made. 6. Guacamole was terrible and might have been a powdered mix. 7. Salsa was made in new York city. The best thing we received was a large coca-cola. As I have said in my other reviews when it comes to Mexican restaurants, if you do not see ? Lengua, menudo, or carnitas on the menu... It isn't authentic! Just because Mexicans run it doesn't mean they will cook authentic dishes. Actually I find in small Towns that it's cheaper to make cheap imitation Mexican rather than using authentic meats and ingredients. Disclaimer: This place is perfect for the Anglo Saxon who has no idea what authentic Mexican food tastes like. But to the wise save your money and go to taco bell. read more

After an unsuccessful trip to another Mexican place the week before we decided to try Fiesta Time. The name made me a little skeptical, but I wanted enchiladas, so I jumped in. Salsa? Pefection! Spicy, fresh-tasting and delicious. I ordered a margarita, and was disappointed that it was the bottled stuff that tastes like food coloring, but it won't keep me from going back (I'll try the Texas margarita next time). I had the five enchilada plate and was pleased. I only finished about a quarter of them and was happy to have leftovers to eat the next day. Best thing thou? The tamale--covered in enchilada sauce and was so great! Since we can't have Chipotle in L'ville, Fiesta Time is going to be our new favorite Mexican place! My favorite Mexican place in all of Louisville. Despite living near this place, I had never gone until a coworker recommended it to me. This is a standard Tex-mex restaurant, with a menu that reads identical to all the others. However, their coupons (googled them online; not sure if they still do that) make them cheaper than most. And their quality is superb to all in the Louisville area. Even their chips and salsa taste better than elsewhere. I don't know how they do it, but all their food tastes sooo good. My go-to is the seafood chimichangas. But the fajitas are awesome too. Warning: portions are ginormous. Each entree lasts me 2-3 meals. Not for those on a diet. read more
