I'm writing this review extremely late but it's better late than never. We came here for brunch one morning and had a great experience. I loved how it was a church turned restaurant and they kept a lot of the stain glass windows. I am writing this review very late so I'm not sure if the menu has changed. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and decided to try it with Jackfruit instead of meat. I've heard jackfruit is a good alternative to meat so I was curious to try it. I loved it. It tasted like I was eating pulled pork so I can see why vegetarians/vegans love the alternative. Niche was great. I can't wait to go back

Wow, this venue is stunning. They were easily able to accommodate our group of 8. Our food was amazing, and the portion sizes were huge. Drinks were great. Service was stellar, and they were so gracious about our order modifications. Our server, Latiticia, in particular, was fantastic. Also - don't sleep on that churro cheesecake dessert! I will say that pace is definitely slower - so take your time and enjoy your experience. 10/10 would recommend.

My visit was on a Tuesday night, a table for two and no reservation. The crowd was fairly big but no issue getting a table. Our server answered several questions and took great care of us. On tap was Dos XX Amber and the 16 oz beer was super cold and flavorful. My friend and I split an order of guacamole with chips, plus the entree with 2 roasted cauliflower tacos on a corn shell. The entree came with fried plantains and black beans. Flavor-wise all the items we ordered got a thumbs up and I'd definitely order any of them again. What doesn't put Noche at the top of my list is a few things ... tables are tight! When I am so close to another table that we are basically eating together, I'm immediately uncomfortable. We're overhearing each other's conversations and the servers are bumping into you coming and going. The atmosphere is also loud so I wouldn't choose it for each friend or family group. It is expensive! Just wild to me that two taco platters are $25-35+ each. Despite considering many things on the menu, the only way to eat reasonably was to split a meal. Thankfully we weren't famished. Lastly, the smell of the restaurant clings to my clothes and hair. When I get home my husband immediately commented on it. I'd have been so embarrassed to have gone from the restaurant to another event smelling so bad. If I revisit Noche, I'll go in warmer weather when I can sit on the patio. Street parking only. Stair access at the entrance and more when you get inside to request a table.

The beautiful church building looks enormous from the outside, but the dining room and bar area is actually pretty small. For that reason, it's recommended to make reservations. We ordered the queso fundido as an appetizer, and it was really good. My only complaint is that they don't make their tortilla chips in house. Fresh, warm chips would've been amazing with the queso fundido! I got the stacked enchiladas with brisket and it was delicious. Really wished I could've finished my plate! Our server was really nice and attentive. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants we've been to since moving from the west coast. We definitely plan on going back next time we're in town.

This place has grown since I've left my first review. The first thing that's a stand out is that you get chips and salsa no charge when you get to your table. I've come here for brunch and the brunch is actually one of the most stellar brunches I've experienced from a Latin American food standpoint. The chilaquiles are one of the most flavorful dishes I have ever had at any location. Maybe it's the sauces, maybe it's the location itself, but the food has come to its own standard and it is so good. It makes you want to come back.. the staff is very kind your service is prompt and the ambience of the location is not to be ignored. This is an excellent experience and I'm so glad that they have grown from the past and thankful that we still have Noche in our neighborhood.

Not often in life you get to enjoy Mexican-BBQ fusion while admiring stained glass in a former church. Super cool space, worth a visit for the ambience alone. And it helps that they have delicious food and cocktails to go with it! Good variety of dishes, I was especially pleased by the mole I added to my burrito--lots of flavor, little sweet, little spicy, but nothing too overpowering. Servers are very helpful, especially in recommending dishes and drinks, but things can be a little slow at times. And prices are a little steep--don't get me wrong, everything is great, but it's a pricy tab at the end of the day. In all, very solid spot, most definitely worth visiting.

This place is awesome! The service started spotty when the host literally told us we should sit at the bar. But boy did he take care of us. The drinks were so thoughtful and yummy I had the fancy Paloma, yum We ordered the pulled pork nachos and brisket tacos. The beans were the best I've had in along time. So full of garlic and creamy. The rice was great and the nachos were so full of flavor. Great vibes, great food and great service!

Came here for brunch to celebrate my birthday. I had joined their loyalty rewards program on the Toast app a few weeks ago, being new to the area & wanting to scope out the restaurant scene, and they generously sent me a birthday reward, so we decided to try it out for the first time today. It blew our expectations completely out of the water. Our server was a doll, very friendly and attentive. We took her recommendations & got the Eggs Benito and the El Frances, and they were both delicious. The coffee was also strong & hot, and while I tend to prefer espresso, I could see why they wouldn't want to set up an espresso machine in the space and ruin the ambiance with loud machine sounds. The restaurant was also very sweet to gift me a piece of the Tres Leches cake, with a sparkler on top for special effect. The restaurant is breathtakingly gorgeous, having set up in an old church, and they took painstaking detail to preserve the original beauty of the architecture while updating the look and feel. We most definitely will be back for dinner!

My complimentary birthday dessert was decadent and and so delicious!

My friends took me out to dinner for my birthday and I chose Noche. I had been once years ago for lunch when it first opened and took this opportunity to return. The restaurant is converted from on old church and many of the stained glass and iconography remains. Parking is street only and can be tricky. The space within is indescribably stunning. I will let my photos speak, it is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever visited. I wasn't prepared for the prices. If cost is a concern, save Noche for a special celebration. For the privilege of being in that atmosphere, the prices are understandable but at $27 for three tacos I ordered, not cheap by any means. My pulled pork tacos were very delicious. Meat was cooked and seasoned well and the sauces and toppings were full of complex, pleasant flavors. Our server was friendly, fast and accurate. My friends asked about birthday perks and at the end of our meal, our server brought out a gorgeous strawberry and cream creation that was absolutely mouth watering. Yum! A very nice touch. Everything was presented in an elegant way. And everywhere you turn there was something cool or surprising or beautiful to look at. I would recommend Noche for the food but more for the experience. You just have to see it.

First time getting the Stacked Enchiladas and I think it will be my go to now! It was very tasty with lots of flavor. I got enchilada and queso on top. Served with rice and beans. Reservations are a must.

If you are looking for something unique this is the place for you. It's a Mexican restaurant that's inside an old church and themed based on Día de los Muertos. However, it is probably the most expensive Mexican restaurant you have been to. Parking that I saw was limited to street parking so be careful and watch the traffic.

We only came here for drinks. This was a fun experience. Our group had different cocktails that we all tried. Most we excellent. We just were not a fan of the the "Hearts of Glass" strange brine taste. Not like a dirty martini. Maybe it was the olive pile rinse‍. The food looked great and the serving from what I could tell were probably shareable. Next time we'll try some food. Fun and unique establishment. Previous occupied by a church. I will say after our cocktails we found the $1 mimosa. We had to try one, it's a dollar

Is it better to sit down below in the main restaurant or up above in the mezzanine?

Is the patio heated and comfortable or will I be wearing my coat the whole time?

When I've eaten on the patio in cool weather with the heaters on I still wore my jacket but my feet were cold.

Four of us had an excellent experience for our dinner in Louisville, and besides the food, a lot of that experience was due to our server, Julie. She was great, super friendly and professional, and expertly answered a ton of Bourbon-related questions from my Bourbon loving friend. My wife and I dove into the Southern theme and had a Pulled Pork Sandwich ($16), Southern Colada ($16), Fried Green Tomatoes ($10), and a Southern Gumbo ($10) for dinner. I ordered the Fried Gren Tomatoes to share with the table, and they were wonderful - "Five full moon green tomatoes fried in cornmeal and panko, topped with fresh chives and served with Doc's Remoulade". They were light as a feather, most definitely non-greasy and had a great crunch from the panko and cornmeal. My Southern Gumbo (A hearty stew filled with andouille sausage, chicken and vegetables in savory Cajun broth served over rice. Served with cornbread) was excellent. Great flavor, great spice, plenty of sausage and chicken, and excellent accompaniments in the rice and cornbread. And how could I not mention my Southern Colada, with Michter's US*1 Sour Mash, Pineapple Juice & Coconut. It was quite a bit stronger than any Colada I ever had, but I guess that can be expected when you use an 86-proof small batch Kentucky whiskey in your Colada. Of course, I loved it. This was our second visit to Doc Crow. We were there a few days ago as the first stop on our Louisville food tour and enjoyed a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. The Doc sure treated us well. PRO TIP Be sure to check out the Doc's jaw dropping collection of bourbon bottles that seem to dominate the various rooms wherever you look.

The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting.
