The service was not the best at all. I wasn't greeted and it was only 1 other person inside eating. I like the concept of build your own bowl, nachos, etc. They also offer burritos and gorditas. Ever since I heard about this place and checked it out, I've been going back incredibly frequently (sometimes even 2-3 times a week). They are so close to home and the BEST restaurant near me for sure. I love the art on the walls and how friendly the staff is by always greeting me with "how ya doing buddy!" lol. Had chilito's for lunch today at work. I ordered the chips and queso and my co-worker had the adobo chicken. Of course we added Mexican Coca Cola to go with our meals. The flavors were indeed there and it was on time. I will most likely frequent chilito's as today's experience was ideal. read more

This place is counter service like chipotle & you can build your own burrito or bowl. They have quesadillas, tacos, nachos.. You just choose your protein & build from there. They have a few difference sauces to choose from. I just asked for a few of them on the side to try a couple different ones. I got the chipotle chicken bowl & it had good flavor, I feel like I should have asked for extra chicken & other added ingredients. It was on the smaller side of a bowl than I'm used to but it was still pretty filling, Their queso was a thin white cheese & i added jalapeño for a nice spicy touch. I just happened on this restaurant for a Saturday lunch, and I'm completely pleased by it. I ordered a burrito with carne asada. The basic ingredients are set, then I chose from 2 different cheeses, rice and beans, 3 different salsas, and one of 4 different hot sauces. I tried "hot" because I was a little scared of the extra hot. Then when all ingredients were chosen, the burrito is grilled briefly and wrapped in foil. Just superb! I will definitely be going there again, maybe for an evening meal next time. Soft drinks available too, though I saw no evidence they serve beer or anything else alcoholic. Try em out. I decided to try this place today while I was in the area. I have been wanting to come here for awhile so I rolled on it. It was not busy I looked at the menu and decided on the steak quesadilla. It was $7.99 and came with chips hot sauce and sour cream for no additional cost. The tell guys they made the food we're awesome very friendly and polite. I first tried Chilitos Mexican Grill while working down on Dixie Hwy. I was not familiar with the area, and I was looking for a place to eat lunch. I saw the sign for Chilitos Mexican Grill, and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! The food at Chilitos Mexican Grill is fantastic. I had the chicken nachos, and they were some of the best nachos I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. I also had the opportunity to try the queso, which was delicious. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a smile by the friendly staff. The decor is colorful and vibrant. If you want to stay away from chain restaurants and eat at mom and pops places, this is right up your alley. It is an assembly line like Chipotle, but cheaper. And so much better! The adobe chicken had great flavor, the tacos were loaded with meat, and you could add whatever you wanted without extra cost. The flour tortillas were thrown on the grill to give them the perfect crispness. The place isn't flashy but it's clean. This will be my new go to when I want fast Chipotle type food. We stopped in here after they have been open for about 2 weeks. It was not busy at all. Service was good, good was just ok. We have so many Mexican restaurants on Dixie Hwy, this one doesn't really stand out. It is counter service. The veggies do look super fresh. My mom ordered a special order adoba chicken sandwich. There was very little meat on the sandwich. Way too much bread. Flavor was ok. I ordered the steak tacos, flavor was ok but they did add plenty to make a full taco. I love this place. I like being able to build all the flavors. And if you like it HOT, they have 2 hot sauces. The green jalapeno sauce (warm) and a reddish orange sauce (hot). You can get that on the side to control the volume. My son got both, but he likes really spicey. read more

The menu has a lot of options. From meaty to vegetarian and everything in between. They also have a child's menu. They have expanded their dessert options. Today was my first time trying this place out- absolutely will not be my last. The restaurant is comfortable, not crowded, and equipped with a very friendly staff. The food is astounding. So fresh, and you can tell with each bite. Plenty of drink options, great decor, and a good location that isn't out of the way. I imagine this location is a hot spot for lunches, but is also ideal for dinner whether you're on the go or want to sit down for a meal. We have come her periodically since they opened this location. It's fast food build-your-own style where you pick what you want in your burrito or in your taco. Ingredients are always very fresh and tasty. They have two fountain machines with Coca Cola and Pepsi, and also have Big Red! In the cooler you can choose a dessert (the flan is great) or a Jarritos soda. During COVID they do takeout and also have indoor seating that allows for social distancing. The dining space is pretty spacious for being in a strip mall location. Definitely a gem on Dixie where chain restaurants abound. read more

Ordered through door dash, i got a steak salad and chicken quesadilla and nacho's/cheese. They sent a chicken salad instead of quesadilla. When i called to let them know.the manager insisted i ordered 2 salads.And was a A$$ with a bad attitude. The "cheese" with nachos is nothing more then watered down white velveta.
