Did not know about the place till one of my dear friends came across their limited PROMO special ( still happening). I was told that the place has been there for about 2 yrs. It's actually right by Khol's. Initially called the number on the promo invite few times and left msgs. No one called back but if you send a text, someone will respond. Sara responded to my text and was able to easily book an appt for myself and hubby on different time slots. The day of the scheduled appt, hubby received a text that his 1200 appt was cancelled due to Sara ( aesthetician ) was not feeling well. Then few minutes after, I received a cancellation via text for my 1pm appt. Good thing I sent a text to the number I received from Sara's (consultant) and she confirmed that my appt was still on the book. Decided to go. Met with Sara ( consultant) . Was also able to re-schedule hubby's appt pretty quickly onsite . There were other treatments available that The SPA offers in addition to hydrofacials ( PROMO ). Definitely worth checking it out. Monica was the one that did my facial was very friendly and was informing me of what she was going to do before she starts doing it. Talked about what to expect . Plenty of parking. I was informed about the complimentary cellulite service, so I couldn't resist with booking an appt. with The Med Spa Boutique promptly after viewing this amazing deal! Rita was my esthetician today and she helped me relax prior & during the entire cellulite treatment. She was sweet to ask if I needed a blanket or a pillow, and I kindly requested a pillow and some water since I barely woke up again prior to my appt today. All the staff here are very professional, friendly and NOT pushy at all. No longer need to drive to La Jolla for similar treatments when this med spa is a more convenient location, since closer to home. This place was nice. My only problem with this place is I had made an appointment on Tuesday which they ended up changing to Wednesday. Then they ended up changing the time then they called me and they changed it to Friday. They gave me a 9 o'clock spot on Thursday. Today, May 7, 2026, I visited The Med Spa after seeing a Facebook promotion for the Hydrolift facial for $49. I will say that the facial itself made my skin look and feel really good afterward, so I can honestly give credit for the actual treatment. However, overall customer service is about much more than the procedure -- it's about the entire experience from the moment you walk in. My aesthetician, Monica, answered my questions, but the interaction felt very short and disconnected. I tried making conversation to better understand the services they offer, but the responses felt rushed and not very welcoming. It made the experience feel uncomfortable and somewhat forced rather than genuine. After the treatment, I met with Sarah for a consultation about future goals and recommended services. She was polished and knowledgeable, and you could tell she takes pride in aesthetics and skincare. However, the consultation itself felt heavily sales-focused. I understand that med spas offer promotions and packages, but it felt like there was pressure to purchase services on the spot because the deals were "only available that day." At one point, Sarah kept getting up during our conversation to help check in other clients, which made the interaction feel distracted and impersonal. When I explained that it's my birthday month, I have travel plans to Cabo, and I'm currently managing a lot of expenses, I noticed a shift in the energy after I declined additional services. It gave me the impression that the friendliness was tied more to making a sale than building a genuine client relationship. They also ask for tips starting at 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and up, which is completely optional, but personally I didn't feel the experience justified leaving one. For me, exceptional customer service means making clients feel comfortable, welcomed, heard, and valued not pressured. I would rather drive farther, even to Moreno Valley or Mexico, if it means receiving authentic service where people make you feel relaxed and appreciated instead of feeling like you're being sold to the entire time. The Hydrolift facial itself was nice and my skin does look refreshed, but the atmosphere and interactions felt overly commercial and not very genuine. Worst experience I have ever had. I can't even get a return phone call. Last year, I purchased a package for hair growth treatments along with additional services. My first experience was great -- the staff was attentive and checked up on me throughout the treatment. Unfortunately, my second experience was completely different. I was forgotten in the treatment room while my treatment was still going. I even called the office while I was sitting in the room, but no one answered, even though I could hear staff laughing and talking in the office area. I eventually had to remove the treatment machines myself. After that incident, it took over a week to get another appointment scheduled. No one ever answers the phone or returns calls. The only person who genuinely tried to help me was Lynette, but now I cannot get ahold of her either. I was also told that the owners would be contacting me regarding my concerns, but I have still not received a call. To make matters worse, during my first hair treatment appointment, the nurse assisting me began cleaning my face and preparing for a facial peel treatment. I had to stop her and explain that I was there for a hair treatment, not a facial peel. Her response was very nonchalant, simply saying, "Oh, okay." That was extremely concerning to me because if I had not spoken up, she would have continued with the wrong procedure. Due to the lack of communication, poor customer service, and inability to properly schedule or provide my treatments, I requested a refund for the treatments I never received. They offered me free treatments instead, but at this point I no longer feel comfortable continuing services there. I simply want a full refund. read more

I began doing business here a-few months ago, I had a large purchase for a treatment that I later found out I did not need for my type of skin and age, they straight up, up sold me. Being a young male I don't know too much about these things. But I do know I payed a lot about 2k and I did not need that treatment. Now I'm stuck because they don't document anything to show proof of what I am being charged. I will need to escalate this if I don't get the results and fees I want. They also lie about what they promise during the initial consultation. They don't honor what they say. They need more organization and transparency. Caution. Don't get ripped off or over charged.
