I don't even know where to start with Fifth Finger Studio! I absolutely love this place and the people in it. My experience with them was outstanding and I highly recommend them to anyone. They are worth my over 1 hour drive. The people are so sweet and funny and also so welcoming. The studio is also one of the cleanest I've seen out there. My story begins 5 years ago when Danny stayed late to do one of my tattoos. Later when I told him I wanted to do my sleeve, I gave him my idea and he took over from there. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sleeve. He took a twist of the movement of the flowers and really made them flow together. He also worked in the negative so my flowers are different then what I've seen. Danny is so professional and the conversation never stopped. We have had so many laughs and he is very personable person. All of my tattoos have healed beautifully and even though I have gotten my tattoos years apart, my first tattoo 5 years ago looks just as fresh and neat as my one tattoo that I got about a month ago. When I didn't go to Fifth Finger Studio for over a year I didn't know if Courtney would remember me. Though as soon as I walked in she remembered my name and how to spell it(: She is so amazing and so helpful and so much fun to talk too. Courtney is always willing to help and answers all the questions that I and other people that Ive seen walk in. I just love this studio so much and I'm so excited to see it really expanded. All the artist there are amazing and seeing their work come alive is incredible. I recently had the absolute privilege of working with Kayla, better known as Barbie, at Fifth Finger Studio, and let me tell you, she didn't just give me a tattoo; she created a legacy on my arm. I was really excited to get my first professional tattoo done, and when I emailed Fifth Finger Tattoo via Yelp they got back to me very fast, and told me to come in that day to talk about the kind of tat I wanted. I went in and talked to Dave and told him what I was thinking about getting (A Skull and Crown) and he came back with a sketch. We both gave input on it until we were both happy with it, and he had SO many great ideas that wouldn't have even crossed my mind. I wanted a really dark looking Gothic skull and he added really cool symbols, and bleeding eyes, and he turned my original idea into something 100,000X better with all of his input on it. The BEST part of the whole experience is that Dave was such a nice guy and he was really excited to work on the tattoo. While he was tattooing me he had the coolest things to talk about and had a great personality. And because of him now I have a bad-ass tattoo and will definitely return to Fifth Finger Studio the next time I get a tattoo. Besides Dave being so awesome, the other staff was also very friendly and nice. They were so helpful and made us feel comfortable (I was there with my fiance). The inside of Fifth Finger Studio looks super cool and extremely clean. The staff also answered all of the tattoo aftercare instructions I had very thoroughly, and my tattoo is healing perfectly. For my first tattoo, I went in for a consultation and met Danny. He was very helpful and explained everything. I showed him some ideas of script to create a special tattoo to celebrate my cat Jake, who passed recently after living a long 19-years! I could not have asked for a better experience, for a first tattoo, but also for the kindness and attention I received from Danny! Danny sketched out my tattoo and although just a name, I needed it to be clean and done correctly. We collaborated a bit and made some adjustments, all the while Danny was very accommodating. I decided to go for it and though it didn't take very long, I understood why people love getting tattoos! It's a very personal experience! Danny and I shared stories about our animals and I knew he understood what this meant for me. I got emotional as I looked as his beautiful tattoo and I'm more than happy! If you are looking for an amazing tattoo artist, who really takes their time and gives you quality work make sure you go to Ivan. We spent a few days looking at portraits of my mom ( grandma ) who recently passed away and we found the perfect photo, and he delivered. I was so nervous being such a important tattoo, but he really was so kind and listen to what I wanted and created a beautiful piece of work. I sat there for over 4 hours and laughed the whole entire time! The atmosphere was so nice and relax, and everyone that came over to say hi and look at the art that was being done was so nice and genuine. Another thing that I noticed was how clean the place was, yes I know they clean their stuff , but the bathroom was spotless. It's the little things that make such an amazing experience. I am so happy that I found such a great place to finish my sleeve. Another thing that I loved was while sitting there they kept offering me water. I have about six tattoos total, and Ive gone to Ivan for five of them. He replies fast, gets you scheduled quick, and really works around your price range. His original works are awesome, and all of my tattoos healed really well due to his advice and comments. Ive tried to go to other places before but none are as good and helpful as Fifth Finger Studio. The shop is beautiful, and comfy, everyone that works here is very nice and makes sure youre getting situated. Its well kept, and has a great vibe about it. Making an appointment is as easy as DMing an artist on instagram - to emailing them. Or giving the shop a call. Pricing Ive never had a problem with. Not once did I think I was paying too much or too little for the quality tattoo I ended up with. Which - the tattoos Ive gotten from Ivan, are absolutely killer. Not too much small talk - which I like. I share a similar humor with the artist which I like to see through the tattoos I go in and get from him. I have had all my recent work done at Fifth Finger Studio. Daniel Sanchez is a talented artist who does all of my work. Extremely professional and pleasant to work with. He takes my ideas and brings them to life in a way I never thought possible. I literally tell him a basic idea and let him run with it. The environment is clean and comfortable. The shop manager Courtney is well informed, takes her time to discuss the process and will make sure that all your needs are met. She will actually sit and answer all of your questions and Will give you detailed aftercare instructions. Everyone is extremely talented at the shop. The owner Boomer is professional and courteous. He's actually available on site and takes pride in his shop and the people who work there. As a result you walk into a shop that is clean, well run and can't possibly leave with anything but happy with your new piece of art and your overall experience. This was a very meaningful piece I wanted to be sure was done as close to perfect as possible. It took extensive research to find the right artist & I finally found Janet & Fifth Finger. I was super nervous since it was a portrait & we all have heard or seen when it can go wrong. Not here! Janet achieved perfection for me. She matched me on the meticulousness. You can even see the care she took to bring out the vibrancy & fearlessness that is Freddie Mercury. Just take a look at his eyes The studio itself is full of kind & friendly pros! I felt comfortable & welcomed for sure. I chose to do a full day which was about 12 hours & saw how the artists & Courtney take special care to clean & scrub down after every tattoo appointment. Fifth finger is hands down the best tattoo shop in town. Everybody that works there is so friendly and accommodating and just make you feel at home from the time you walk in the door to the time you sit in the chair all the way until your piece is done. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Antonio the last 2 Saturday's starting my back piece of horror movie characters. I knew walking in I was gonna get good work done but after getting Freddy Kruger and Jason voorhees done, I couldn't even imagine they'd come out this awesome. The details and texture of them are just beyond amazing. Also being able to see all the other artists work while I spent 2 full days there I can see every single one of them is definitely a top rate artist and I'd fully trust each and every one of them to tattoo me. I always said I would never get a tattoo because I worried about getting a subpar piece permanently placed on my body. Then I found Ivan and my worries disappeared. He has done all 3 of my tattoos (right and left biceps, full chest piece) and they are absolute works of art!! My wife has also gotten 4 large tattoos from Ivan and we couldn't be happier! People are always commenting on how incredible our tattoos are! Ivan always listens to what you want and then creates an absolute Masterpiece!! Wife and I wanted to get a silhouette tattoo of one of our wedding shots and we bookmarked this shop as one of our options. We started following them on Instagram and Hunter had an appointment cancel on him so we reached out. He did a small script tattoo on my wife that day that came out awesome and we did the silhouettes the next day. Don't be fooled by the fact that Hunter is just starting his career in tattooing (he's got a very bright future). The dude is talented. I've had tattoos from established artist and he is right up there with them and the environment that he creates is very friendly and non-intimidating whether it's your first tattoo or one of many. I did my research before choosing this studio. A lot of research. I chose 2 and after meeting Courtney, I was sold. She is a beautiful spirit that is a tremendous attribute to Fifth. She helped me thru the process with care. Danny Sanchez was chosen to help me design a full sleeve. Although he has been the only one to work on me, the shop only has top notch artists. Some of the most amazing color tattoos I've seen are done by Janet. But Courtney will pair you with who would be your best match. Danny Sanchez has amazed me with his talent and ability for detail. Being a trans-person, I'm very careful about selecting trans-friendly businesses to patronize; too many bad experiences. So, when I called Fifth Finger to talk about my first tattoo, I was impressed by how cordial they were. When I went into the studio I was even more impressed. Everyone was cordial and professional and the studio was clean and well maintained. They listened, paired me with the right artist for my needs and took the time to design a custom tattoo that's exactly what I wanted. Pricing was fair, aftercare instructions were through and the overall experience was amazing. I would rate this experience as 6 stars on a scale of 1-5. I was stationed down here in AZ for a few months and I wanted a cover up done. I contacted fifth finger and , then later consulted with Jose . It definitely was a difficult cover up. But Jose was optimistic about getting it done and done correctly because he knew how much it meant to me. It took multiple sessions ( due to my skin rejecting the light color ) nothing of Jose's fault. Over the course of 4 sessions later it turned out just the way I wanted. I appreciate his patience with me and being flexible with scheduling for touch ups since my schedule is always changing. I would absolutely recommend this location and him as an artist . Absolutely amazing, Super clean and nice studio. Very professional. They were so helpful, I went to get my ribs tattooed. I was very nervous and uncomfortable of my body but they made me feel very comfortable and worked with me very good. They are absolute PERFECTIONIST! They work hard on making sure the tattoo is absolutely perfect to what you want! They also work really great with prices and keeping things with in your given budget. I was welcomed by Courtney who manages the shop, which is very clean and inviting. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. With the tattoo I wanted, (a colorful hummingbird 2"x2"), she recommended Brogan for the task. He has been doing this for 4 years, but is just new to Fifth Finger. I was his first client. When I initially called I spoke with Courtney. She was super friendly and helpful and even gave me a website to look at fonts so I could get a better idea before coming in. Shop was clean and has an overall great vibe!! My artist was Antonio and he was nothing short of perfection. He took his time with everything and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Not only is Fifth Finger a clean and professional shop, but all the artists and the shop manager, Courtney, are so kind and treat you like you are a part of the family! Amazing tattoo studio! Just spent 3 days back to back to back with Chris Good (@Mcgtattoos on ig) with an arm sleeve project. The entire Fith Finger Studio team is very welcoming, great hospitality, excellent hygiene and cleanliness and all the artists are very talented. I can't recommend this shop and especially Chris Good enough. Last piece I had done by Chris Good was 6 or 7 years ago and it still looks just as phenomenal as it did on day 1. Give him your vision and let him do his thing and you'll see first hand why I traveled 10hrs just to have him tattoo me again. read more
