Bad quality haircuts, barbers don't seem to care . I wouldn't suggest walking in, your better off anywhere else.

First and foremost I've been in this location a couple times, and the barbers are nothing but nice. But my son's favorite barber Louie well I think his name is Louis lol I am not sure. They're very friendly very outgoing. My son feels comfortable to sit in his chair and he takes his time which is very appreciated and the prices are the best in LA. I needed a haircut badly and was able to find Figaro Barbers when I was in the area. As I drive up I noticed there was a sitting area outside to allow for social distancing. I wrote my name on the waitlist inside. All of the barbers were busy with clients in the chairs .... all wearing masks albeit the chairs are close to each other. Abraham called me in and cut my hair. I went today November the 1st to "get a hair cut" I get there a the time that maps and google says there open (8.30am). I get down my car to see if they had there business hours on the door and they don't have that . A employee or owner idk who he is but gets there at 9.30am so I get down my car and ask him how much time he needs to set up and get me a hair cut , he responds to me that they might not even be open today. Why would you go to work and open when "you won't be open today. I've been coming to this barbershop for almost 7 to 8 years and every time that I come to this barbershop that on disappoint. Over the years have gone with Abraham. What incredible guy very professional when you walk in you with a happy smile that atmosphere at this location just incredible are not completely full. It's very rare, but there are certain dates there are and find those dates. It's very difficult in the way, I've gone to where I had to wait an hour or an hour and a half just to get a haircut but it's worth it. Just wait for Barber to cut my hair, not my hair it's worth it and the only bad part is that they don't notify you when they increase their prices as soon as you walk in the prices are posted on the mirror and I just wish they'll just notify you a few days before or week to let the customers know that there's gonna be an increase prizefor overall atmosphere and all the people here have this professionalism from beginning to end so come to this barbershop. read more

Came here because I've been told amazing things about this place, I walked in today and waited only a few mins. I didn't get the Barbers name but his chair was in the middle, Older Guy. I let him know I wanted a mid fade close to the skin. This dude messed up my hair. So disappointed. I've been coming here for the past 2 years or so and I have to admit, they NEVER let down! I walked in yesterday for my usual cut with the boss Alan, and I walked out feeling crispier than a potato chip. The customer service here is insanely beautiful. each and every barber in there will make sure you walk out there ready to pick up females left and right. Got my cut from Allan and I'm never going back. He gave me the WORST haircut I've ever gotten. Asked him for a skin mid fade and both sides ended up uneven with hair sticking out, he pushed back my hairline and it was crooked... SERIOUSLY, he should be in jail for what he did. He saw there were a lot of people waiting so he rushed each haircut and finished in less than 30mins so he can get more money. The cut he gave me was so bad, I had to go home and cut the hairs left sticking out on the side + FORCED TO WEAR A HAT FOR 3 WEEKS OFF OF SHEAR EMBARRASSMENT. I have been coming to Figaro's Barber Shop for quite a while now, TOP NOTCH customer service and haircuts! Allan is very patient and accommodating to every single customer. He takes his time to make sure you leave with a big smile and looking fresh. From the moment that you arrive you are cordially greeted by Allan and he tells you how many people are ahead of you and which barber is available, all of them are great. As you wait for your turn you can enjoy their free wifi or enjoy one the many TVs in the shop. I tried liking this shop I had Jesse first and he's a great barber but isn't available anymore. Then I got a cut from another guy he was good too. But after the last cut I just can't go back. The only available barber was Alan and He mess up my hair pushed my line way up. I asked for a medium high fade and he didn't deliver any of what I requested. I got passed up 3 times after waiting several hours, and had to fight to get a chair. They gave preferential treatment to the Spanish speaking customers, and the older gentlemen. Only one out of five barbers can speak English, and I got the English speaking one. They let street vendors come in and sell random stuff. First time here and the barber sucks! He took so long to cut my hair. He didn't have his full attention on me. He had his loud metal music the whole time. I asked him to fade my hair and he didn't do it. He said he already took an hour and he would charge me another hair cut if he fades my hair in the back. I came here because I just moved to koreatown and saw the reviews. Someone obviously got their kids to review for them. I asked for a low fade, the lady asked if I want a medium, I said no a low fade. She immediately began a medium buzz, and made mistakes and kept working higher and higher. I have not had a haircut this high since the military, and I have a baptism to attend tomorrow. I am very disappointed, and she had the audacity to charge me 12 when their sign says 11. An "OK" Barbershop, but definitely NOT "Top 10 of KTown" material...I was a customer of theirs for about 2 years, mainly because of convenience and they are 2 blocks away from me...I stopped going because the quality of the haircuts started going down over a period of 3-4 months... Jose the Owner is a nice man, but his best days are behind him. It's almost as if he doesn't care anymore and will do a half-ass job (not just on me, but on a few other people that I spoke to that have since stopped going there). I really think that he just wants his $13 and wants you off the chair ASAP so he can go have a cigarette outside. A good haircut is judged not just by how "fresh" you feel right afterwards, but how long it lasts. His haircuts would always last me a good 7-8 days, but his sloppy work now only left me fresh for 3 days max. before I needed another haircut. Chema, the older gentlemen, is also a nice person, but EXTREMELY SLOW. I have walked in, sat down, waited for Jose to do 2 haircuts, then mine, and Chema is STILL working on the same person that I saw when I first walked in. If you like fades or anything modern, definitely do NOT go with him. On top of that, he is very grumpy and gets upset if you criticize his work and will argue with you. The woman in the back is like-able and takes good direction. Tell her what you want early on, guide her as she's working, and you'll be OK. 2 years ago I would have recommended this place, but not anymore. I don't know how they are in the "Top 10 of KTown"..."Top 50" yes, but not "Top 10". Go down the street to the shops by Beverly & Normandie instead or anywhere else in the area. read more

One of the best barber shops I have been to, very welcoming and friendly. It's hard to find barber shops where they genuinely care about their clients, this is one of the few barber shops that do. I've gotten a haircut with everyone & my personal favorite is Allan. He remembers the cut that I always get and always is very caring about not only me but the other clients. I know that if I wouldn't be satisfied with my haircut he would try his very best to fix it or find an alternative solution. Hands down the best haircut with Allan that I've experienced overall from all barbershops. HIGHLY recommend Allan. His haircuts never disappoint, always exceeds all expectations. read more
