While it was great to see only two empty storefronts, most businesses sell overpriced to super overpriced products to stay afloat. The mall is dated-looking, with a defunct water fountain, but the open second floor bathed in natural sunlight gives off soothing, chill vibes. The food court has about 9 places, mostly Korean but also a Vietnamese and Japanese katsu options. We ate fresh bi bim naeng myun (very chewy buckwheat noodles), ja jang myun (chewy noodles with black bean sauce and a nice amount of minced beef or pork), and fish cake on a skewer. Some places charge for a to go container and the cranky employee at the naeng myun place (the name's only in Korean, Kang San Myun Ok, refused to sell me to go in separate containers. Excuse me for wanting to separate the chewy noodles from the broth, as the noodles will lose elasticity from a long drive. The food court had many televisions broadcasting a World Cup match. There eating area is spacious with tables are cleared and wiped quickly. The outdoor dining are was closed the day we went. The supermarket is huge, organized and has the viral fruit-shaped ice cream that I adore, for $4.99 each. There's a Cake House bakery with mildly sweet Asian pastries and hot beverages. Their cakes are very expensive and beautiful. Cake slices are also sold. The mall has women's clothes, skin care, a bank, bookstore, children's toys, handbags and jewelry, and knick-knacks or collectibles. There's even a flower shop on a parking level right by the supermarket entrance. We were surprised to spend about 4 hours there. It's easy to spend a lot of time here as the parking is free! I will be back for the food and accessories in support of Korean-owned businesses.

And it's a nice garage, well kept and clean, free for 2 hours with validation. You never need to worry about parking when you come here! There are some excellent food options like Pikunico and Hayato, as well as Go Get Em Tiger for coffee needs. Very cool stores including concept spots and trendy clothing shops. With multi floored buildings creating rows of foot traffic on the ground this space is perfect for events, pop ups, and get togethers. It's one of the reasons why Smorgasburg is held here on Sundays. It's why on any given weekend there may be an event being held, whether it be to celebrate AAPI month or the different creatives in the area. This space is filled with homegrown businesses and unique shops to visit. One of my favorite places is Hightide which is a Japanese stationary and supplies shop. The vibes are immaculate and walking in really feels like being in a store in Japan. Another popular space is Scent Bar for those who love perfume and are aromaphiles. With plenty of small curated artists being featured in this apothecary of aromas, Scent Bar is a nice stop whilst visiting the Row. If you're looking for interesting and discussion worthy furniture A+R is a must, located at one of the ends of the Row. For good coffee with artistic vibes you got to check out GGET (Go Get Em Tiger). Next to that if you're looking for stronger waters is Flask & Field with smaller batch and independent distilleries and crafters. All of this and the parking is free for the first 2 hours. In LA, that's unheard of! And it's a large parking structure with modern infrastructure. Blessed. With all this, hopefully ROW DTLA will continue to grow with more businesses and still retain its charm as time marches forward. Good for a short stay or half a day, if you're looking for things to do in LA proper, ROW DTLA is worth your drive.

Inside H-Mart was so dark. I ran outta there. Sunlight still shown through the windows, thankfully. Everyone was confused. I rushed back to my car in the parking garage and booked it outta there. Thankfully the gatekeeper's barricade arm was staying up (so my validated parking ticket didn't matter) so I could drive off quickly before the exit became a bottleneck. Turns out West LA had a blackout... the one time I ever visit LA! Shame, cuz I wanted to walk around Koreatown Plaza a little more before heading to the next checkpoint in my itinerary.

Outside of the pit in the plaza area, sometimes I like to go to Monkey Pants, but it is a small shop, but they have cute trinkets and sometimes character mascots have meet and greet events, Catch on the 3rd floor, Neko Stop, Maneki Neko, Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, the Sanrio store, Nijiya for quick drinks or snacks, Yamazaki bakery for the meat buns, Mitsuru Cafe for super cheap dango and takoyaki, and sometimes they have cool collab decoration and events throughout this location. It definitely gets crowded and busy here, the parking garage can get quite fisted, so it's not somewhere I park normally, but I will definitely visit.

I guess I'm not a Santee Alley regular, but I've enjoyed my time there. It's kind of the opposite of shopping online. I like the people and the unique environment.

FIGat7th is an open shopping center conveniently located near the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Do not bother going to the shopping center I went for the first time and I almost got assaulted by a homeless guys they're all running around that outside the shopping center and for no apparent reason they will go up to you and harass you and throw homophobic obscene threats which they did to me I tried to defend myself verbally hoping that security will come and help me out and those 20 minutes,no security at all while there was five cameras in my area so I defended myself, what stopped him from attacking me is that I went inside the target it was a traumatic event for me, these rabies infested homeless are all over the place and no security insight to help you out and protect customers ,stay awake please and when customer service heard my complaints the guy just said to me (so what do you want us to do about it), that's the last time I will give that shopping center in my business so stay away I'm not the first person to be attacked there I'm at the last just don't let it be you read more

People complain so much about parking attendant but they have only smart ass costumers that doesn't know how to used a ticket and pay for it. There's no such over pricing THEY HAVE SIGNS EVERYWHERE the problem it's that people doesn't want to read them. Golds Gym member are sucks costumers They think that paying $20 dollars for their membership They can get all day parking for free. All costumers at that place are just a dick coming with their personal problems sliding them on attendants and management preferrers just to open gates and having a cheap ass client that cries for a dollar than forced them to pay. read more

It's a nice little oasis in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Kind of an odd collection of shops, but it is anchored by one of the best food courts I have ever seen. Lots of great food options (though the gold's gym right there reminds you not to overdo it. Mostly business people during the day while I walk around. But most of the people look happy. Just can't believe how weird of a selection it is. Higher end restaurants up stairs. Then a target and make up and some other things on the 2nd floor. And then on the bottom floor the food court. What an amazing shopping experience! I had been searching for a new laptop, and after visiting several places, I finally found the perfect one here. The store assistants were super helpful, explaining all the specs and helping me make an informed choice. The quality of the laptop was exactly what I needed, and the price was more than reasonable considering the value I got. I also enjoyed walking around the shopping center, as it's clean, spacious, and has a variety of stores offering great service. This is definitely my new shopping destination! read more

My family & I were entering Nordstrom and a fake impersonator Allied white man was following me and my little girl (4) and when i confronted him he started insulting me... which did not matter then the kind manager of Nordstrom kicked him out and went to speak with another allied security and they ALL SAID THEY DO NOT KNOW WHO HE IS, THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS OF HIM. Like most of downtown Los Angeles it is a dangerous place full of homeless and mentally disturbed people with a high rate of theft and violent crime. The police gave up a long time ago and it often borders on anarchy. If you like to feel threatened while listening to profanity, smelling urine and eating overpriced food then this food court (like the rest of DTLA) is for you! read more

Cool little shopping center in the heart of LA. They got a pretty decent food court here. If you're stopping by Staple center, it's walking distance, so a good place to stop by and grab a meal instead of paying $50 for beer and hot dog in the stadium. My only gripe is parking is only free for like 30 minutes. After that you gotta pay. read more

There's also Saffron Indian Restaurant, George's Greek Grill, Salata, and Gourmet Wines & Spirits (a bar that also acts as a liquor store). The Cal Marketplace is usually frequented by businesspeople nearby (like me!) or guests of The Omni Hotel. There are also a lot of tourists who wander in but they skedaddle quickly as they're mostly lost/exploring downtown. It's bustling mornings and afternoons, but most of the eateries close early so it's a ghost town starting around 4PM-ish. Overall the marketplace is a good place to grab breakfast/lunch if you're nearby. There are endless covered/shaded tables all around, so you'll have no problem finding a seat rain or shine. Prices vary but it's DTLA so expect to pay a little more. The marketplace is very well-maintained and cleaned regularly so it's actually a really nice area. It's located at the top of the Angels Flight Stairs so extremely easy access to/from GCM.

Yes, part of it is because it's smack dab in the center, but the main part of it is because a lot of the businesses I like to shop at and peruse are located here, as well as lots of the places I like to get food and snacks from. I like visiting what I deem the "Anime Jungle pit" since eventually the entire underground section was taken over by businesses related to or owned by Anime Jungle, but in that pit, when there's no crazy lines, I like to visit Anime Jungle, Q Pop Shop, Little Akihabara LA (depending on the collab pop up), Kiddleton Kiosk, and maybe I got into the model kit or the TCG/vidya game shop, but not as often. Outside of the pit in the plaza area, sometimes I like to go to Monkey Pants, but it is a small shop, but they have cute trinkets and sometimes character mascots have meet and greet events, Catch on the 3rd floor, Neko Stop, Maneki Neko, Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, the Sanrio store, Nijiya for quick drinks or snacks, Yamazaki bakery for the meat buns, Mitsuru Cafe for super cheap dango and takoyaki, and sometimes they have cool collab decoration and events throughout this location. It definitely gets crowded and busy here, the parking garage can get quite fisted, so it's not somewhere I park normally, but I will definitely visit.

We were interested in stopping because it was our first time there and wanted to see it, however, we only had approximately one hour to explore. The shopping center wasn't too busy yet since it was so early, but also most all of the stores were closed as well. We did not get the complete experience of everything that this mall offers. A couple of bakeries were open when we visited and I am glad that we stopped! They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!

Those days are long gone and it's looking dismal inside. There were several tattoo, gold jewelry and t shirt options and a beauty supply store with few places selling clothing items. It's LA nostalgia for me so I couldn't lend a low rating because I still like that it's still standing and helping the local community and entrepreneurs.

Told me that my 10 minutes were up. I argued that it's been less than 10 minutes. Got mad at me for not telling him where I was going. "You have to tell me where you are going before you enter.." blah blah. I explained that it was my first time here and apologized. He finally came up and gave me my $10 back. Everything about his interaction was unpleasant. I thought it was just because he had a bad day due to the heat, but based on the other comments, he is just a rude person. Aside from this guy's interaction, the parking lot place is nice, but save your money and go find parking else where.

You will find Bob's Discount Furniture upstairs, Starbucks, Jersey Mike's, AT&T, T-Mobile, Wells Fargo and Panda Express here street side. I went in to Jersey Mike's for a small sandwich since I was hungry before dinner but didn't want to skip dinner. Went next door to both phone stores to see what's new in technology but I'll stick with my own phone for now. The parking can get cramped with lots of things going on. That's what I don't like especially how people drive since the pandemic. You know what I mean.
