Alex kindly agreed, put my name on it, and assured me it would be there when I arrived. However, when I went to pick it up, the manager informed me that it had been sold anyway. I'm extremely disappointed by how this was handled. The manager seemed indifferent, which only added to my frustration. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable representing this gym, and I won't be giving them my business moving forward. It's unfortunate, as I have a lot of nostalgia tied to training there. I just wish the management had handled the situation more professionally.

My first stop after unpacking was heading back to Froggy's to sign up. While in the Keys, I went to Froggy's almost every day - wish I had a gym like Froggy's back home. Equipment is clean and well-maintained, staff is super friendly, and everyone working out appears to be serious about getting in & getting out (no one is sitting on machines & checking phones). I especially like that the class room is available for use when there are no classes in progress - it's a great space for stretching, Pilates, etc. I'm already looking forward to retuning next year.

I visited Froggy's Fitness on a Sunday with my family of four. I've been to the Keys many times…read moreover the years and even worked out at this gym in the past. Unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience. When I asked about daily fees, I was told it was $25 per person per day. I was shocked at the price and politely asked if there were any discounts for locals. The front desk person rudely asked if it was my first time in the Keys. I told him no, I've been coming here for years and had never paid such exorbitant rates. He dismissively said, "That's the price." I then showed him the gym's own website, which listed $10 per day and even offered a 20% discount for teachers, police, firefighters, and students. I explained that I am a firefighter, my wife is a teacher, and my two kids are students. He refused to honor either the online price or the discounts and rudely told me, "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." This level of unprofessionalism and false advertising is unacceptable. Not only was the staff rude, but they also refused to honor their own published prices and discounts. I will never return here and cannot recommend this facility to anyone. I sincerely hope the ownership re-trains their staff on customer service and integrity, because right now, this gym is doing a disservice to both locals and visitors.

FYT offered hot yoga classes so I came and knew it would be my go to place. I get the studio unlimited membership each month and it is a great deal. I get to do all classes they offer, which includes hot Pilates, barre, HIIT classes, etc. They have classes day and night and the place is always super clean. I drive from big pine to go here almost every day. It's worth it. About once a month they throw events where it's free and welcome to the community. They usually host it at a hotel and they are very well put together and fun. If you're looking for a gym or a hot yoga studio this is the place. The Pilates classes are mat classes and they're really good (hard to get into though you have to sign up way in advance). All of the workout instructors are great and bring the energy.

Just had my 2nd cup of dark roast coffee of the morning and was ready to burn off some unwanted calories. There is no escaping the charismatic employee at the check-in desk only a few feet from the entry doors. While the employee was explaining the membership payment options, I noticed only a handful of members working out in the modestly sized gym with an excellent selection of Cybex machines, which is a dominate brand with fitness gurus. Based on the few pieces of equipment, I would be able to make due for a one hour workout, but was shocked by the high priced $25.00 day pass. An option would be $99.00 per month if a yearly membership is secured. I guess no gym workout for me today and will have to accept 15k steps today while window shopping instead.

Day pass is $16, just call the number listed and the owner should help you out. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have a workout here. Also 24 hours which is a huge plus!! Customer service here is top notch!…read more A few of us were in the area for a brief period and signed up for Islamorada Fitness' Sunset Paddleboard Yoga class. Unfortunately, the day the original class was scheduled for was too windy to hold the class. Andrea contacted us early in the day to allow us to make other plans, and worked with the instructor to reschedule the class another day. That day came and we again got weathered out due to high winds. What are you going to do? You can't control the weather. She checked the forecast and made plans with us again for the following evening. Thoughout the entire process, Andrea and Liz (our instructor) were so kind and accommodating. Liz wanted to make sure we got to enjoy the class while we were in town and (happily) sacrificed her personal time to accommodate our schedules and the weather. When we finally made it out on the water, it was absolutly perfect and well worth the wait. We enjoyed a nice paddle and a peaceful practice watching the sunset. I can't speak highly enough of Liz, who even insisted my friend take her towel after she fell in the water (oops). The practic was so fun and was challenging in new ways - I'd highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to spice up their practice with a little something different. Even doing very simple poses takes on a new challenge and offers new visual perspectives from atop a swaying paddle board.
