Anytime you have to pick out your own ingredients, you're experimenting, but the fresh ingredients at Figo make it hard to go wrong! Delicious and fast.

Figo Pasta offers tasty and flavorful custom pasta bowls with a twist. I had the cheese ravioli pasta with Italian sausage, grilled chicken, broccoli and parmesan. It was served hot and delicious--perfect option for a satisfying lunch. Presentation is not the best but I promise it tastes better than it looks!

We got take-out. I wasn't sure what to expect because of the mixed Yelp reviews. We thought the food was pretty good. The people were very friendly and quick. Our food was piping hot when we picked it up. The portion sizes were great and so were the prices. I ended up getting a make your own pasta and my dad got the lasagna. Both were very flavorful but I wish mine had a little more sauce. We also tried a caprese salad which was refreshing. I would order take out again! I really can't complain about our experience.

FIGO Pasta keeps moving or closing on me (at least, the locations close to me). First, it was the popular, old Howell Mill location in Westside (https://www.yelp.com/biz/figo-atlanta) which moved to Marietta Street in late 2014/early 2015 (https://www.yelp.com/biz/figo-pasta-west-midtown-atlanta). Then, that location closed in late 2018/early 2019, leaving the next-closest FIGO to be this one, the Buckhead or "Upper Westside" location, which moved across the street from its old location on Collier Road to its current location here on Defoors Ferry in October 2018. At the time of writing this review, three other locations exist: Downtown, Edgewood, and Vinings. I've always been a fan of FIGO, but I'm a bigger fan of them now than ever because of the mushroom pasta I had on my last visit. It was phenomenal. The best and most memorable mushroom pasta I've had to date. The other food was at the FIGO standard: good. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for delicious yet affordable Italian. We got the fettuccine pasta ($4.55) with funghi sauce ($4.85). It's made with wild mushrooms, cream, and garlic. We also got the Kale & More salad ($7.25) that comes with kale, roasted corn, hearts of palm, pickled Fresno peppers, chia seeds, and jalapeno dressing, Mamma Edia's Eggplant ($9.85) made with sliced baked eggplant, tomato sauce, and Parmigiano Reggiano, and a blood orange margarita ($7.50) prepared with Lunazul Tequila, blood orange sour, and triple sec. The fettuccine pasta with funghi sauce was perfect in every way, from the texture of the noodles to the taste, consistency, and amount of sauce. These were some of the most appetizing fettuccine noodles I've tried. Soft, thin, ribbony, and delicate, but nice and chewy too. As for the sauce, it was really flavorful, but not overpowering. This may sound stupid, but it tasted like Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, one of my favorite soups growing up. Light and creamy with excellent mushroom flavor. There was parsley on top with some freshly grated Parmesan (optional, done tableside). I really liked the Kale & More salad. The kale was served in big leaves, not massaged, so it was relatively rough and coarse. I didn't mind this, but I think my fiancee prefers softer kale. All of the ingredients were fresh and yummy. There was a nice balance of ingredients and dressing. The crisp, juicy hearts of palm were a nice touch. I was expecting a bigger portion for Mamma Edia's Eggplant, but what I received was fine. It was a satisfying Eggplant Parmesan. No complaints and I'd order it again. As for the blood orange margarita, I don't think I can recommend it. The portion size seemed small and the beverage was a bit watered down and not as tasty as I had hoped. FIGO makes all sorts of pasta fresh daily. Along with selling the pasta in its entrees, they also sell the pasta "raw" by itself. It's available in fridges near the register. They offer different varieties of penne, rigatoni, gemelli, fusilli, and long pasta (e.g. linguine, tagliatelle) starting at $4.55. They have many kinds of ravioli starting at $5.60. Sauces run the gamut from olive oil and tomato-based sauces to sauces featuring meat and seafood ($4.85-4.95 for most). Then they've got other items like apps such as bruschetta ($5.60) and arancini ($6.50), soups, salads, and sides plus panini, entrees such as lasagna ($9.85), and desserts such as tiramisu ($5.85). Beverage-wise, they serve beer, wine, champagne, and cocktails. The restaurant has sort of a weird, hybrid, fast-casual/sit-down setup. We ordered upfront at the register as if we were at a fast-casual place, but then received sit-down service after we sat down. They brought the check to and we paid at our table. Service was great from everyone. The staff was polite and attentive. There's not much to the interior/exterior. It was renovated/built when FIGO moved in. The dining room is a simple, open space with booths, a banquette, and tables and the patio is covered and spacious. Fairly minimal in decor. It's a laid back, comfortable, and casual spot. The restaurant is situated in an unassuming strip with Papa John's and Ssam Burger. There should be plenty of parking. If you can't find spots out front, there are more spaces behind the building.

Absolutely horrible. I'm shocked at how horrendous this food is. One dish was over $20 on its own and not worth a fraction of that. Everything was completely inedible.

I don't typically review to-go orders, but I was surprised to see so many reviews on bad service. I put my order in online and my food was ready almost immediately when I stopped by to pick it up 10 minutes later. I had the curry chicken and it was very tasty. I'm not huge on curry, but this was recommended and has a great subtle curry flavor. I'd get it again.

For an appetizer, we got the mussels which were probably some of the best mussels I have ever had using the bread to soak up the sauce was divine. Truly delicious. For the pasta, I got the the tortelli de vitello which was so good. Some of us at the table also tried the shrimp linguine which was delicious and so fresh as well as the chicken parm which was MASSIVE and came with a great side of pasta. We also tried the little pasta shells/ears with sausage and broccolini and it was delish. Truly these dishes were stunning and cannot wait to have it again! To wrap up the dinner, we got some coffees and the tiramisu... Which was delicious and as stunning as everyone says. Overall, this meal was divine. The vibes of the restaurant really bring it up because it is so calm and classic and just such a great place for a lovely meal. 10/10

Needless to say, we enjoyed our experience here for dinner. Husband and I came to celebrate my birthday - he was a bit upset they didn't offer anything for my birthday even though he notated it on the reservation, but I didn't really care for it as I don't like having the attention on me. This place is hard to miss as it's right on Roswell Rd. There is complimentary valet parking available, but there's also free parking at a deck just a few steps away from the restaurant entrance. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in and the restaurant was already very busy for a Saturday 6 pm dinner. Our server was fine, and the food was decent. I opted for the blackberry fiz mocktail, which was super sweet at first, but with a good mix, it was super refreshing. For starters, we shared the eggplant balls (a must get here!) and the bread service. The eggplant balls were definitely shareable and were probably our favorite thing we ate. The bread service you could probably skip - we wish it was served with vinegar instead of just oil and an olive tapenade. For entrees, I ordered one of the dinner specials, grilled branzino served with broccolini and potatoes. My husband ordered the ravioli. I really enjoyed the branzino, it was tender and the skin was cooked crispy. I loved that the broccolini was charred enough, but wish the potatoes were cooked a bit more. The capers added the needed saltiness to the dish, though I wish this was served with lemon or something to balance out the flavors. My husband enjoyed his ravioli but found it too heavy with the cream sauce. We thought this was a decent place for dinner, but nothing really stood out besides the eggplant balls.

It's cozy, (plenty warm) and romantic! It was 32 degrees outside, but completely comfortably warm, inside. You truly wouldn't know you weren't inside. Any way, I've eaten my way through Inman Park but somehow hadn't yet indulged in the delectable Sotto Sotto. This might just be my new favorite Italian in Atlanta. It was absolutely delicious. Across the table (thanks to the half portion option), we tried at least 8 items on the menu! Each one was more special then the next. Our incredible server Kagen (sp?) walked us through each section of the menu absolutely perfectly. As a result we ended up ordering some of his favs from across the menu. In my photos you can see what we ordered, but my recommendation is to simply ask your server what they like and you'll undoubtably get something stellar. However the server we had tonight was one of the worst experiences I've had especially for a place that is trying to sell an upscale dining environment he greeted the table by saying (after we asked how he was doing) "I'm doing f-ing horrible I'm tired and feel like sh*t we had such a busy night last night" he was not very knowledgeable about menu or drinks and his overall appearance gave very much unhygienic he also forgot to put in our food order so we waited double the time and said that since we already had appetizers and the other table did not have any food that we could wait to order food, also just assumed how someone in my group wanted there steak cooked so had to wait for that to be redone, he was all over the place and did not check in on us very often we needed things like refills or salt pepper etc. and went without because bad service I don't think he should have been working he obviously did not want to be there he also failed to mention that the kitchen was closing so we did not get to try the desserts. There were a couple of other things but don't want a 5 page review I cannot remember his name but a taller white guy with a messy bun and tired eyes. We still left a tip because that's what you do when you go out but if he treated his other tables like he did us I wouldn't be surprised if we were the only ones that tipped. I suggest not going on a busy night to get good service I guess. My group was 4 ppl 2 couples trying to enjoy a nice double date without the craziness of v-day next time we will celebrate days before. After expressing that I was open to any variety of dishes, in hopes of venturing out from my "usual" of chicken parmigiana, Linda made several very thoughtful recommendations. I enjoyed the light flavors of the Agnolotti pasta, and the richness of the Marsala chicken. I am personally not a huge fan of mushroom taste, but the dish was not mushroom forward at all and the Marsala sauce was perfect. I also tried the cannellini beans after both Linda and her counterparts insisted that it's the most underrated dish on the menu and there were absolutely correct! I could have eaten the beans as my main dish and been perfectly happy. I finished it all off with the tiramisu, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and a very authentic taste about it! Anyone who knows me personally knows that I don't eat leftovers, but I reheated my leftovers on the stove and it was just as great as the night before - making the dishes well worth their value! The restaurant has a very quiet and respectable ambiance. The bar is inviting, while the seating area offers both group or family style dinner tables or more intimate tables tucked away.
