Oh man. Where do I even begin? I found Sophia on Instagram. Her nail art looked AMAZING and I since I wanted a cool set for my elopement in Vegas, I booked an appointment with her two months in advance. I saw reviews on her IG saying that she was soo good that someone drove an hour and a half to get their nails done by her so I was stoked. I sit down and she's on the phone with her kid. Okay, I get it, she's a mom so she's gotta do mom duties. Kids come first. I didn't have an issue until she FaceTimes them. She's looking at her phone screen while gluing on my tips. Her attention was half and half and it started to make me nervous. She then proceeded to listen to music on her AirPods. No "sorry about that! How are you doing?", no interaction whatsoever. She only spoke to me when she needed to see my reference picture. Now I know that it isn't her job to be chatty, but it is her job to make me feel like I'm welcome and not an inconvenience, as if I was bothering her by sitting across from her. Constant yawning, zero customer service. I felt as if she would rather be doing anything else but my nails and it was such an awkward vibe. She half assed the line work on my nails. Normally I would say something so it could be fixed but I wanted so desperately to just LEAVE from being so uncomfortable that I just nodded when she asked if I liked them. So, word of advice: listen to these reviews, don't come here. Look elsewhere. read more

I am so dissatisfied that I had to make this Yelp account just to write this review. I was introduced that this was one of the best nail places in West Jordan. But unfortunately, it failed my expectations horribly. I came in today just for a gel manicure with an extremely simple design. But my nail technician managed to screw it up. Everything was ok up until I noticed how she didn't soak my hands in any water to soften the cuticles for a manicure. She just went straight into buffering and painting even after I mentioned that I wanted a manicure. She couldn't get the polish to stick onto my nails. She kept asking other technicians if they know what was wrong. But no one seemed to care. She filed, buffered, and thinned my nails many many times. I could feel my nails burning as she uses the machine on them. She even cut me with the machine at one point. In the end, she was so embarrassed and couldn't even charge me. Which makes sense. I would definitely sue if they charged me. I took the photos after I went home and cleaned up the shape of my nails. Before this, they were chipped and filled with debris. read more

Came here with my daughter for basic manicures. Neither of us really keep up on our nails, this is just a back to school ttradition. Amy was so kind and it was a very relaxing, pain free experience. I've been going to this salon for over 5 years, suzzie is my favorite. I know many of the other girls just through chatting. I would say coming here you can't judge the whole salon, this is a booth rent situation. I would also ask before booking about their experience, some of them may be right out of school. I love it here!! The people and the environment are the best! I get my nails done by Becky and she is the bomb! Everyone in the salon is friendly and welcoming! I love how file-u-fancy is so close to my house as well! All of the nail artists can do anything on your nails and they will make sure you walk out of there looking BOMB. Came here to get my daughter a hair cut and there's 3 people working all have a costumer so I understand there will be a wait. the 4th person comes in and finds everything else to do besides see if we have been helped. she's washed her hands twice, taken out the trash, and is now eating a snack, and reading a magazine. I have not been greeted by anybody that is working here it's like we're invisible. great way to treat your first time customers I will not be coming here again at least acknowledge people! goodness! read more

Becky did amazing with my friends nails that I'm thinking of switching nail places! Becky is super friendly and the whole Salon is very clean and tidy! I REALLY wanted to like this salon ..I'm giving it a two star instead of one because the lady that did my nails was really kind but I just don't like how my nails turned out , first off she didn't have nail tips that would fit my finger nails and didn't let me know this before hand , so she made the tips out of acrylic and paper guide things , this was okay except my thumb nail turned out slanted and others were crooked as well, if she would've informed me before hand she didn't have the right sized plastic tips for me I would've rescheduled for when she did , the whole time she was doing my nails she kept telling me how she REALLY doesnt like doing acrylic tips ( uh okay ? ) She didn't file down the sides of my nails at all leaving them so sharp I accidently cut open my husband's arm and got my nails caught on multiple different shirts and my bed causing my fingers pain. Usually my acrylic nails last for 2 weeks before I see lifting , growth or any other sign of wear but these ones only lasted a week before they looked horrible , she didn't put the acrylic on my whole entire nail leaving the sides of my nails bare ( this not only looks tacky it can cause infection ) the thickness of my nails are different on each finger ... When she was done she said , " I hope these look okay, I'm spotting you now and I'm not sure " why didn't she just pay attention to detail while she was doing them? Overall I most likely won't be coming back, I'm letting these acrylics fall off and I'm going back to my usual nail salon, they don't speak English but my nails always look amazing and they last . read more

I bought a promotional deal from them and am overall not impressed. The deal had a hair cut a mani, pedi and wax. The hair cut was ok but not amazing. The mani was pretty horrible and I just had her buff my nails. I could have done more just on my own. I tried to set up appointments for the wax and pedi but the ladies never answered their phones. I was unable to get appointments. I have friends who also got this promotion and were also not impressed. It wasn't worth the money. Promotional deals are there to try to get new clients. You have to personally schedule an appointment with the individual workers it's not a walk in type place. I love Ana I've been getting my hair done by her since age 8, and still do to this day. All my family members get their hair cuts through her. In previous reviews a woman said that no one greater her or asked if they needed help. They all probably assumed she had an appointment with one of the stylists. read more
