Stopped in for a pedicure walk in appointments for myself and my boyfriend. The salon itself is not the most clean or aesthetically pleasing , but thought we'd give it a shot. For starts my chair was not working. The massage options were unavailable which was disappointing. My partners pedicure without paint lasted 11 minutes with approximately 1.5 minutes of massage and scolding hot towels. My pedicure lasted approximately 25 mins. The filing was borderline painful , as my nails were cut extremely short and then filed to the point my skin was tender. The individual doing my nails did nothing to make the experience at all pleasant and frankly seemed untrained. I'm disappointed spending money for such a low quality service. read more

When I started coming to Trang in 2020, my nails were very short and stubby so I started with acrylic tips, then gel, and then switched to dip once they offered it. I love dip because I have ridges on my natural nails so gel didn't stay on as long because of it. I am addicted to dip nails. My nails have regained a nice nail shape and they now look great. I called the day before and scheduled an appointment for my friend and I to get pedicures around 6:30ish pm. It was easy to find. We arrived and were seated quite quickly. The water for my feet to soak in was super hot at first, but the technician cooled it down for me pretty quickly. I believe I just had the regular pedicure with gel polish and it ended up a $40 service +tip which was very reasonable to me. The massage and lotion was good too! My gel was applied well, although it isn't lasting as long as some other spa trips I've had in the past. Plenty of parking spots in the little strip mall area. But I appreciate they have enough workers to be super efficient (I usually just want to do walk ins when I find some free time) & I didn't have to wait at all. She did a good job on my pedicure, too. I wouldn't recommend this place. I went to get my nails done and my manicure was fine. The lady did a great job. However, I hate my pedicure. The lady that was doing my pedicure, pulled out the cheese grater which I thought they banned those from most nail salons. She hurt me and every time she did, I would flinch and pull my foot away and every time I did that she would look at me annoyed. I was so uncomfortable. I sat there for almost an hour while she was doing my toes and they still turned out ugly. After I'd flinch and pull away she'd turn and laugh with her friends and talk to Them in their language. When it was all done, she didn't even put a cuticle oil or lotion! I had to ask her to put lotion on my feet! While she was using the grater, she would dip it back in the water my feet were soaking in. I was so disgusted. She took forever and I hated the end result. Terrible experience. The only thing good here was the ease of getting me an appointment, gel and nail dip color variety, the paint job, and nail dip results. Overall, the place felt grimy, I didn't see much of any sanitizing tools between customers or when they fell on the ground. I paid extra for the luxury pedicure. I have been a client of Trang Le Nails for over 10 years. My sister and I had booked 2 pedicures 1 month in advance. When writing arrived, the owner looked at us and told us our scheduled nail technician had went on vacation and they could not fulfill our services. One of the scheduled technicians had been assigned to another client and they found a replacement for my sister's services. However, I was unable to have my pedicure performed as scheduled. After much waiting and my sister was nearing the end of her appt. I told them I could edit no longer and removed my feet from the bath. I am disappointed that the owner did not apologize or attempt to notify us of this prior to stepping in the door at scheduled time. I really love my regular technician but am seriously looking for a place where the staff cares about the customer read more

I probably won't come back here. The 2nd pic is what I showed her. I was given duck french tips. I went home and had to fix them up. She left my hands messy and dry. You can also tell they are all talking about you the whole time and it really makes it genuinely unpleasant and uncomfortable knowing they're judging everyone who walks in. It was also pretty dirty all around, nothing was sterilized between uses. With bright pink walls, Trang Le Nails was bustling on a recent Friday evening. They have five pedicure stations and several manicure stations. I called ahead, and surprisingly there was no wait for a pedicure. The leg massage and multiple treatments throughout the pedicure were well done. The technician paid careful attention to detail and was very thorough. I found it a little strange that the nail technician didn't wear gloves, but maybe that's more of a personal preference then standard practice. I wanted to like this place because of the reviews. But this place is absolutely dirty and not sanitized. They use the same un-sanitized tools from one client to the next. I know this because the same nail drill buffer that was being used on the client next to me was used on me right after..... Nails came out really nice! I decided to go in and I was pleasantly surprised. The lady (forgot her name.. sorry!) that did my nails had such a sweet, bubbly personality. she took her time and made my nails look BOMB. she apologized for how long she was taking but I love that she was paying such close attention and she was wanting to make my nails look as great as she could. I haven't gone back here since 2019, for a few reasons, including their periodic rude and dishonest customer service, and since I'm no longer near West Jordan. In 2018 and 2019, I received several manicures, pedicures, and brow waxes here, and *usually* I had no complaints about quality. The only one, which took me by surprise, is that the topcoat the tech used on my manicure full set has been peeling on 2-3 nails the past week. The good about this salon: competent, professional techs, like TINA, an ostensibly clean environment, affordable prices, and nice massage chairs for pedicures. The potentially bad: they are often busy, and some employees, especially Trang herself, seem unfriendly and abrasive, there's a strong possibility of feeling rushed as a customer, and that some staff ultimately don't care if you're dissatisfied with the work. They often want you in and out, and to charge as much as possible no matter how they go about it. Also, be warned most likely nearly every customer, including me & you, is being spitefully gossiped about in Vietnamese. I have been coming to Trang Le Nails since Trang worked for Song's Nails, this is my first time that I have ran into a situation. I have spent so much $$ here easy over $1000, my daughter got me a $50 gift certificate for Mother's Day, it has been misplaced. I go to this nail salon every couple weeks either always with Tina or Kim and they know me well. The owner Wendy whom I spoke told me that she can't help me at all, since the certificate was lost, not even a courtesy anything as good "customer service" for being a long time customer that's never lied to them. It's too bad that this has left a bad taste for me and will never go back now. I understand it was my fault for misplacing my gift certificate, but if I want to keep my customers I would have done something in return to help me feel better about the situation. It's too bad, because I really enjoyed going to Tina and Kim, but my business is now gone. I know Trang (prev owner) would have done something to help me out, I know that for a fact. The lady who did my nails rushed through my gel manicure. They use the same drill bits and files for all their clients without properly cleaning them. The gel was all over my cuticles and skin. When she was cutting my cuticles she cut wayy too much off and the area around my nails were super raw and red after. My sister recommended this place to me and I've gone twice now and had Trang (the owner) do my nails both times. She's always so fast, so attentive, and takes a lot of care. I had a previous full set that I had started to peel because I was out of the country and she removed them promptly and very gently. The prices here are very affordable and they're always busy because so many people want their nails done here. I have been a customer of Trang and Tina for many many years. They are very good at what they do! Tina is an excellent nail artist and my toes always look and feel great after a visit. When I do get nails from either Trang or Tina, I have never had an issue with them popping off. They always look great and last until the next visit. The only reason I give three stars instead of 5. When this shop first opened it was beautiful and relaxing. There was always music playing, it was so relaxing.
