Everything about this place is great. Happy Hour specials of sushi, steak tips, etc. Full steak dinners are all great.

My husband and I went here last night and we fully enjoyed our experience. The restaurant has a really nice vibe ,friendly staff and the best bar seats. We both started out with sushi and it was amazing. Then we had steam clams and shrimp cocktail, then salad after. we were already satisfied and wowed by the food. For dinner I had the filet, my wife had the clams and a wedge salad. And the bonus was having live music while we were there. Everything was amazing and so far it is one of our most favorite places we have eaten at while here in Myrtle beach. read more

Do not go here if you expect any type of social distancing. Most of the staff, including the managers, do not wear masks. Our waitress, also with no mask, had no regard for distancing. We were not comfortable there. The service was slow and appetizers ordered arrived with our meal. The food was good. I have no complaints about that but will definitely not return to this place because my safety is more important than a meal. read more

Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious but the only thing I have any complaints about is the fact that even though the state mandate for masks has been lifted. I really expected restaurants to enforce their employees to wear masks. read more

This was a poor experience for us on Tuesday evening. It took over 90 minutes for our food to come out. We were not asked to refill our drinks, the food came out cold and the burger and beef tips were burned. Asked for a replacement burger and after 30 more minutes it did not come out. Got it to go. Thanks to Brittany, the manager, and the excellent waitstaff and chefs, my son and daughter-in-law were able to have a wonderful and memorable reception even during the Covid pandemic. The small reception of 20 was a big success. The decor was set up by Brittany and her team exactly as requested. The meal portions were ample and delicious. The waterfront and marina made for a perfect backdrop and created a beautiful setting for photography. Couldn't have asked for a better venue or more accommodating staff. Under new ownership but still the same wonderful atmosphere, many of the same waitstaff & bartenders. Food choices and quality are wonderful. The tiki bar looks great with the updates too. Would give 4-5 stars but unfortunately, whoever is doing the sushi is bringing the place down. Between the guys behind the counter with long curly hair hanging all over the prep area, the sexy groupies hanging at the sushi bar for hours and the fact that your sushi order won't make it to the table until the others are already finished with their meal... ( probably because they are paying more attention to the groupies than making sushi) it's a must skip portion of the restaurant. Not a place for non-locals.. they definitely treated us like we were outsiders. We came in for happy hour and were told to order at the bar to order our to go.. the bar told us to order with the waitress.. then after ordering we're told that we can't do the happy hour to go.. we would have happily ate inside except for the fact that there was WAYYYYYYY to many people in here. At least 150 people in this restaurant and more people outside in the seating. They had every table filled and a lot of people waiting to eat. The bartender was very nice to us but our waitress was hateful! So the bartender ended up becoming our waitress. The ONLY redeeming was the food and the blonde bartender. read more

Only giving it two stars because the scenery was beautiful. Other than that it should get 1 star. The food wasn't great (didn't get there until 8:45 so that could be why). My MAIN concern is that lack of social distancing and mask wearing. I'm under the age of 25 and likely WONT be affected by COVID. However, that doesn't mean it's impossible. I had to stare at my waitress until she put on her mask. I'm not a local so I won't be back. Just wear your masks and keep people safe. We do it up north no problem. Also, I can guarantee at some point this place will be shut down because literally none of the employees (including the male manager) was wearing a mask. Nice exterior very welcoming place next to the bridge and right on the water. Parking is good too. When entering the restaurant I was not greeted but rather looked at by four host standing at the door that were leaning. I looked at one and said I was meeting someone and that I had never been here before she said "go look outside" instead of trying to help me find the person I was meeting she continued to talk to the other girls. I walked next to the bar, looked around, and saw the person I was meeting. I went over to the table and sat down next to a window. The view was nice and my view was looking at the water and the docked boats. I would have had a better view if the window were clean and not full of greasy fingerprints. The person I met there was finishing his appetizer. Server, Kelsey, came right over and took my drink order I had wine. She came back at the appropriate time to take my appetizer order then our food order. The service and the food delivery flowed, as I desired. About the food. The muscles were great so was the coconut honey shrimp. We had angel hair pasta with shrimp and scallops. The scallops had a buttery texture and cooked perfect (best I ever ate) the shrimp had a very great flavor and once again, the best I ever ate. The pasta seemed over cooked slightly mushy and the flavor was subpar. I would have added more garlic and maybe nutmeg to the sauce that was on it. The Prime Rib was so flavorful but there was a huge piece of fat on it. The mashed potatoes were good but serving was on the small side. The collards had many tough stems attached. Maybe take the time to remove those. The butter in the collards was good but the amount of vinegar made it not edible. The salad was great except for the imitation bacon bits. Real bacon or no bacon would have been better. The Blue Cheese dressing was so good I could have drank it and the other salad ingredients were good especially the type of lettuce used. Lastly, we finished the night outside next to the water watching the boats and the sunset having coffee. The outside bartender was very polite. I do not know his name but he had dark hair. It was about 8PM. The bathrooms were clean the inside and outside were clean and overall a nice experience. We will return despite some pitfalls have recommended to others. Great food, customer service, and menu selections. I ordered the prime Rib and my husband ordered the filet. Both were prepared according to specifications as ordered. The baked potato was fully loaded and so scrumptious as were our salads. The creamy horseradish sauce added the finishing touch that was perfection to the prime rib . My husband mentioned that his filet was the best he had ever been served. We will definitely return with eagerness when we travel to the area again. The drinks were great, margarita's for us both, one regular one pomegranate, the lobster bisque was the best I have ever had, actually bought some to bring home and eat the next day. My husband got the filet, a bit over done, but he said it tasted great. I got the prime rib, was also very good, but the baked potato was not the best, and not hot enough to melt the butter. Hubs picked this place based on reviews and it was pretty accurate. Trigger gosh was perfectly cooked as was my tuna Oscar. Baked potato was enormous and cooked perfectly. We opted for patio seating which was open seating and sat on the River side to watch the bridge and boats. All was good. Would not purchase Cajun creamed corn again or peach cobbler. I'm still torn how I felt about this establishment. Our waitress was able to keep everyone's orders straight, but sat us by the door on a super cold evening when there were other tables and I even mentioned not wanting to sit by the door when she exclaimed "no one even uses that door" (except for the two parties who came in that way and surprised us with a 30 degree blast in the middle of our meal). The stars are given ultimately for the freshness of the seafood and their wide variety of happy hour specials. I got steamed peel and eat shrimp and they were so sweet and tender. I also had the beef tips which were less than lovely because they had several chewy pieces which is a total turn off for me. We met some friends for dinner here. I ordered the Tilapia Caribbean and WOW it was fantastic. Our server was attentive but wasn't intrusive. She was great with recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The ONLY negative thing was the runner that delivered the food asked if we needed anything else. My wife asked for a little more butter (for her baked potato) we didn't get it until we were almost finished. Other than that, zero complaints. Amazing food, really good service. Love this place. When I lived at the beach I spent many an hour chilling on the water front deck, loving life and eating DILLAGAF rolls. But I also brought my Mom, Grandmother, and aunts to eat in the dining room. They're a picky bunch to please, but darned if they didn't all leave happy. That my friends is a true win! read more

Hubby and I shared the calamari, it was cooked perfectly (which is hard to do) I didn't like that they brought our salads out with our appetizer, but I just put it to the side - then we had the Lobster Bisque soup and it was amazing! Probably the best I have had - but it goes downhill from there - I ordered the trigger fish and asparagus and my hubby ordered the par four (filet, grilled shrimp, seared scallops, and a crab cake) after waiting for our entrees for about 20 min, the waitress apologizes and said sorry, a big group came in right after you, you food should be out soon (umm, ok, we were here first) but whatever, we are not in a rush another 10 min and she brings our food and says "be careful it's hot"...yeah, the plate was hot, and that was about it, I asked for some butter for my asparagus - in the meantime, hubby takes a bite of his steak - cold, tries his crab cake - cold - (didn't realize until after we left that there was no scallops and it was 1 shrimp) I put the butter on my fish and asparagus and they were both so cold, the butter didn't even melt - I appreciate the waitresses attempt to offer to heat it up - no thanks, tastes like it's already been heated up (reheated fish is NOT good) - for the prices they charge - they should get it right the 1st time - it would have been nice if they took something off the bill or offered a desert or a drink something other than to reheat cold food read more

Gouper bites were hot but barely cooked so fish was mushy, dinner salad good, seafood platter for $29 not worth it. 4-5 shrimp, a thin flounder filet and few (we think) clam strips. Easily a $12 plate elsewhere. Great variety of sushi rolls and the one we had was very good. So maybe a return to try their steaks but will stay clear of the main menu fried food. BEST BAR STOOLS ANYWHERE The bar stools at the inside main bar are simply luxurious - once you get settled into one of these soft comfy seats, you won't want to leave. And why would you - the food is good and the service is excellent. We always stick with the Happy Hour menu. The Cheeseburger is the best on the beach. The P.E.I. Mussels are tender and steamed to perfection. We can also highly recommend the Peel and Eat Shrimp, Beef Tips, Fish Bites (blackened) and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Filet's Sushi bar is a hit-or-miss affair. Sometimes it's very fresh and good, but sometimes it just doesn't measure up. The Ni Homa Roll and the Edamame are especially good. read more

We. Come here every year. Food has always been good. At our recent visit we had calamari, three of us got filets, one got sushi and one got the salmon. The salmon had a sweet chili sauce on it and was dee lish! We arrived early as they don't take reservations. Were able to get right in. Our server was also good. We made a reservation for 7 tonight to eat and watch the boat Regatta. First they put us out on the deck where anyone can sit - so not a reservation. It was very cold outside. We ordered drinks and omg the wine glass was plastic and dirty and very small. I sent the glass back as the wine was old. One of the other guest ordered a second glass and it actually was delivered in a plastic cup - no explanation. When we asked for silverware and napkins she actually said "I'll see if I can find some". I would NOT recommend this place at all. Drinks are bad and very small for the price- as well As the food.
