Upon getting my order the bagel was not toasted, there was no bacon, and so much jelly the bottom half of the bagel was inedible. Sure, it's not a New York bagel (though Fill A Bagel claims to be "traditional New York style"). But that's fine, the bagels here are still pretty okay and enough to satisfy a bagel craving. My issue with Fill A Bagel is that they are charging New York prices. $6 and change for a small bagel, and not enough cream cheese to balance out the size of the bagel--it doesn't feel worth it. Pretty pricey compared to it's competitors. This bagel stop enjoys a general lack of competition, as Dunkin is its only close option and their bagels are nothing to write home about. My everything bagel was a little undercooked and would have benefited from a good toasting. It also was a little too biased towards salt. The jalapeño crème cheese had no heat whatsoever- why even offer it. The coffee was expensive - I pay less for it at the LaColumbe outlet near Independence Hall. At $9.52., this by far the worst bagel and coffee value equation that I ever had. At least the bagel was fresh. read more

I've used Fill A Bagel for a few work functions. I cannot say enough good words about them. Everyone was raving about the pastries at our holiday party this year. And the service can't be beat. Everyone is lovely from start to finish - they had my order ready a little early for me so I could get to work on time, carried everything to my car so I wouldn't spill anything on myself (I was dressed up as an elf) and just were pleasant and helpful from taking the order to completing it. I hadn't been here in a while but today I was craving a bagel. One bagel with cream cheese and a not very large ice coffee came in at $9.03. That's insane. And then they have the nerve to upcharge you for using a credit card. Food always takes forever to come out even though they're microwaving everything. We need a better bagel place. The food was fine. We had a nova lox bagel and egg bagel and both tasted good. The staff was friendly. The coffee however was awful -- it tasted burned and sour. It's La Colombe so it should taste good. Also, they only have hazelnut or French vanilla creamers in the little plastic containers. How hard would it be to have real creamers? read more

Consistent and fairly quick service. What I don't like is how customers show up unmasked and get service. There is a required mask sign. Stop serving people who don't wear masks in your tiny store. God fobid adults be told "no mask no service" and you actually enforce it. Protect other customers and your staff. Enforce mask wearing. Anyway, great bagels. read more

Bagels were ok coffee was strong but New York prices. The most egregious thing was No wifi! When I asked none of the employees knew the password and the one person who knew said they were not allowed to share it. In today's market all coffee shops should have accessible WiFi. What I liked: The bagel sandwiches are good. They had a nice amount of egg, cheese and cream cheese. Make sure to get it toasted so it all melts nicely. What I didn't like: Pass on the Avocado toast. It was literally unripe avocados that just make you get the "ick" the moment you bite into it. If they used ripe avocado and maybe mashed it to the bread, it would be good. The seasoning was nice and all but couldn't get past the cold, thick wedges of unripe avocado. I was able to firmly hold the avo in my hand, and it did not lose its form. Walked in on a Sunday morning with less than six customers in there ordered a bacon and egg everything bagel and promptly waited 25 minutes for extremely average breakfast sandwich. If you want to waste your valuable time watching a bunch of kids stand around while two people prepare food at a snails pace go ahead and knock yourself. Seriously how on God's green earth does one breakfast sandwich take close to a half an hour? There are far too many better options within walking distance ever waste my time walking in this place again. This is my new bagel spot since I have moved into Montgomery county, and overall the bagels here are not bad. The outer layer is crunchy and chewy, just like it should be. While the bagels run on the small side, the inside is fluffy and moist. Extra points for actually putting salt on their everything bagels!! That is a huge pet peeve of mine that many bagel places do not do this. They also get points for having a very varied menu, including other foods as well. It's basically a nice little deli. It is a nice local bagel shop. The bagels are not directly behind where you order so it is sometimes a bit of a pain when they don't have the bagels you're looking for and you need to pick new ones. I stopped by "Fill a bagel" out of curiosity. I love bagels and thought this would be a good place to try. Located in Jenkintown on York Road, they do have a parking lot that is shared with other stores in that area. They have lots of bagels to choose from and lots of different ways to fill them. From peanutbutter and jelly to whitefish salad to hummus to kippered salmon salad. They carry daily breads, weekly bread specials, homemade cookies, croissants, paninis and deli sandwiches. I decided on a everything bagel with eggs, sausage and cheese and coffee. The coffee was delicious. the bagel sandwich was ok. I didn't care for the sausage. Honestly, nothing I couldn't make at home. My daughter got a garlic bagel w/tofutti. This is a vegan spread made with tofu. She said it was just ok. They don't have many vegan options :( There is a small sitting area, if you want to eat in. My final analysis.......It's a cute sandwich shop. Good service, plenty of choices. More of a place to get a quick bite on the go, but nothing outstanding that you can't make at home with a bagel. Not quite sure if I would go back. read more

I frequent this location before work in the mornings. They have some pretty good homemade cream cheeses. My favorites are the veggie, cinnamon apple and strawberry. Service is pretty quick and you can call in an order if you're really in a rush. There's a few tables inside to sit at and. A few outside but I think most people order to go here. Their prices are slightly high but not too bad. They recently started charging customers the credit service fee so just be aware and consider paying with cash. Also, I've had several instances on Monday mornings where they don't have any flavored cream cheese ready. I guess they start mixing them for the week later in the day on Mondays. read more

The place is run down and dirty, the food is over priced, prices of certain items are not posted even though it is required by law, the staff has has no proper customer service experience as they tend to demonstrate an entitlement mentality and bad attitude, the wait is long for no reason whatsoever, finally when their overpriced and long awaited order is ready they rattle though the entire order no one can hear well instead of loudly calling out the order number. At the end when you pick up the order the staff insults you by lecturing and scolding you. Keep up the "good" work! We are local and we used to come to your place but this was the last time! They have bagel breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, bagel lunch sandwiches, deli sandwiches, paninis, soups and salads. Breakfast meat choices: bacon, ham, sausage, pork roll, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, pepperoni Fresh squeezed Oj, coffee, tea, prepared smoothie drinks... And a bunch of desserts- donuts, donut holes, muffins, fresh baked cookies, sticky buns. Worst avocado toast I ever had. The defrosted avocado that they use tastes soggy and tasteless. Horrible!

Love this place!! The bagels are fresh the croissants are huge. I like the breakfast sandwiches, but will note that the eggs are microwaved and are too small for the croissants. They should put two egg servings on them. I will admit that they aren't dunkin donuts prices. But their quality is significantly better. The cashiers are busy but nice. While they have a little seating I would say it's too small to sit comfortably without some one who is waiting for their food standing within a foot next to you. read more
