But every single order one or two ingredients are wrong or after I state I have onion allergies, I get extra added onto my food! I ordered an omelette and requested FRESH green peppers. This is not my first time adding it in. I was given disgusting canned ones. My husband however had fresh on his order! I called to again let them know and instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, I am argued with and told thats not true. It's ok. Seems like someone converted a pizza shop into a break joint because they could make more money on eggs. Coffee is equivalent to gas station coffee. It sits around in its heated cylinders. They were right next to a soda machine. I just think to be a breakfast place these days you have to have pride in your coffee. Kids running all over inside making noise. Now I know a place can't help that but again it was a pizza shop feel. I got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. I took a bite and said to my wife "this is why I can't leave the city." I struggled between 2 and 3 stars. I decided on 2 because nothing bad happened and the service was fine. The food wasn't gross or anything. I just hate to pay for something I could do at home. Went in at lunchtime to get a few bagels and containers of cream cheese. When I got to the counter and placed my order, I was told they were out of every flavor of bagel I wanted. It was lunchtime, people order sandwiches on bagels all day- bagels are not just for breakfast, Bucks "Bagels"! The name of this place is "Bucks Bagels", yet they have no bagels? Anytime I've walked into Manhattan Bagel, they have all flavors available. If the case is empty, they have more in the back. Moral of this story, if you want a bagel, avoid this place! *Edited to say-, they serve breakfast "all day". Terrible experience. read more

My first time visiting HG Bucks Bagels in Warminster, PA. It was recently remodeled, and it looks quite nice and clean, with room for both a bagel and pizza operations. When it comes to dual production, you have to hope that they maintain adequate separation of ingredients and recipes, so the pizza doesn't start tasting like bagel, nor the bagel too much like tomato pie, particularly in the crust and toppings departments. Luckily, that doesn't seem to be an issue, as, while I only tried an onion bagel (w Veggie Spread), it did not remind me of a slice O' pie. Yet, perhaps there was some leakage in style. I found my bagel to be large, freshly baked and loaded with hard toasted onion bits, but the shell lacking in crispness to differentiate it from the inner bread. I much prefer a harder skin from boiling with lye for about 40 seconds. When that doesn't happen, the outer coat is more like ordinary loaf bread, and not the tougher exterior that epitomizes the true rounder. So, while I liked the chomp, it would have been so much better if it had required a stronger, sharper bite from my incisors. It wasn't a bad bagel, but done right, it could have been a real contender. 3.5 STARS. read more

Stopped here to get a bagel or two while waiting for folks at the rink next door. The bagels are good. Not quite a NY bagel, but passable. They are really large and the sesame bagels are covered with seeds. The ones I got were warm and tender and so I ate one plain as there was no way that I was going to wait on the crazy line. At 9 AM on. Saturday the place was VERY busy and it appears they are still figuring out how to serve everyone. The parking lot is a nightmare and the patrons here do NOT social distance. read more

Coming from New Jersey, I will say that the bagels are definitely not as good as the bagels that I've become used to. However, they are still good and certainly better than what you would get at one of the chain restaurants. Their breakfast sandwiches are particularly good. I've been trying to find good pizza options that are nearby since I moved into this area. Unfortunately, I am a snob but when it comes to pizza so I was a little skeptical. I will say that the small size pizza is indeed small-- A little too small for a price of $15.50, however; the margherita pizza did not disappoint. From a presentation standpoint, it looked very good. The crust was very good, the sauce was very good, the mozzarella was melted just gray. I definitely will be going back there. I just will be ordering a larger size lol. read more

Bucks bagels used to be the best around. They closed for some time to remodel. Something happened during the remodel. The bagels purchased yesterday were small and hard. We purchased 4 bagels, ate 1 and trashed the rest. I feel awful putting down a small business but I used my hard earned money to buy awful bagels (Giant food stores are better). I would recommend going to Village bagels on 611. Their bagels are larger and softer. read more

The original Bucks Bagels was wonderful. Since HG bought them, they're not as good. Introducing the over-priced coal-fired pizza to the brand didn't help things. Personally, I think the pizza is not good at all. I haven't tried their steak and deli sandwiches. The bagels are okay now, and service is slow. read more

Bucks used to provide one of the most packed bagels, cream cheese-wise (honestly too much but I loved it) and now unfortunately is one of the least packed bagels to the point that I had to add cream cheese to the bagel when I got home. This changed happened after Bucks was rebuilt. With that being said, I certainly understand given the economy one might cut back but this has been cut back so much I just don't enjoy their bagels as much anymore and I don't want to pay an extra $.75 for extra cream cheese. Find a happy medium instead of going from one extreme to another. If that changes, I will go out of my way to go back to Bucks. read more

I have had someone order at this company before and have gotten breakfast sandwiches, they were great! I finally ordered for myself and got the Lox bagel on a poppy bagel with tomato, lettuce, onion, cream cheese and toasted. It was presented wonderfully (see picture). The Lox tasted fresh, there was enough cream cheese, the right amount of lettuce, tomato and onion. It was toasted to perfection, still soft enough to bite, but with a crispness to it. The inside of the store was okay. The bagels were categorized, but they were not really neat, kind of thrown around. They had other items there like macaroons and pastries. The containers were a bit too big for the small amount of items on the plate. I will definitely order from here again and I advise anyone else to do the same! read more

I was disappointed having to wait about year while the whole place was remodeled. But they are back and so are the greatest bagel around. I'm sort of a bagel maven, and these bagels meet my every desire. The variety is great, and I've savored them all including chocolate chip (really!) and pumpkin. Came here on a day off to try it out! It was clean, spacious and has outdoor seating! We ate outside since jt was a great morning. My husband got the bacon egg and cheese on a jalapeño bagel! The bagel definitely gave the sandwich the amount of heat needed! I got a sausage egg and cheese on an English muffin. Very fresh. They have these spicy chipotle mayonnaise that I had never seen before that MADE my sandwich! The coffee was great too they had a toasted caramel flavor that was very good! The bagels and the service were good but all of the tables were dirty and the floor needed to be swept. Not appealing for eating there.

Went there for lunch today and ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was chopped and formed chicken meat. Bagels were stale tasting even though they were toasted. My sister ordered the bbq chicken pizza. Again the chicken ok the pizza was the same chicken that was on the salad. Fake! The pizza crust was good. read more

However even though we are all facing financial difficulties I would rather pay more For the quality that I am used to then have a respected institution change their quality in order to meet costs. I was so disappointed to find that your usual quality has changed. The toppings were sprinkled on top rather being totally embracing and covering all sides of the bagels. They looked no different than what I would get at a grocery store. I drive quite a distance for your delicious fresh totally covered with topping's bagels. BUT my last visit, I fear ,I might even have been sold day old bagels sold as fresh. Skimpy covered and stale! I have NO issues with this place. Never have. I've rolled through many a time throughout the past several years. I've never had any lunch sandwiches from them, but their breakfast sandwiches are always on point and served with a smile. I worked in a bagel factory for a long while in my early twenties (where I thought I'd swear off bagels for life) and this is one place that I will still enjoy a bagel from time to time. Bucks Bagels is a good local place. We usually grab bagels here early in the morning before going skiing or biking. The Bagels are fresh baked every day & very tasty (not heavy/doughy). The help is always friendly though service can be slow. Keep in mind - if you get a Bagel with cream cheese they give you HEAPS of cream cheese - way too much for my liking. I ALWAYS get the cream cheese on the side so I can control what goes on it. They also have salt bagels which are not always easy to find. Their motto is "you get what you pay for" & you really do. Bucks Bagels is a small little bagel shop next to the 7-11. In fact, you might miss it if you're travelling on York Rd toward Bristol Rd but it's well worth finding. These guys make the best breakfast bagel sandwiches EVER. If you're used to the ones from Wawa these are 3x the size and are so much tastier. They make their own bagels in-shop and they have their own deli section for lunch so they use those products in their breakfast sandwiches. This means that the cheese is fresh and nothing beats a good egg & cheese on a bagel! If you're not in the mood for a huge breakfast you could always get a bagel that's a million times better than Dunkin' Donuts down the road. They run specials every weekday on a different egg, meat, & cheese sandwich which lowers the price of that sandwich for the morning. A great deal on a huge sandwich. My favorite is the ham, egg, & cheese on a wheat bagel. My friend from Chester county always stops here when he's in the area after I got him hooked on them. The breakfast sandwich is a very generous size and the coffee excellent. Was excited to see what they had done with this place since rebuilding, but was not impressed. The inside looks like the finishes were whatever was left on clearance and the finish work is terrible. The parking lot is not conducive to getting in and out easily. Lastly the food...wouldn't recommend. I read the other reviews and I'm not seeing it. I've eaten a bunch of bagels in my life and this place does not serve good bagels! I went on a Sunday morning and it was surprisingly crowded. We waited in line and ordered 3 bagels: A spinach with veggie cream cheese, an everything with veggie and a plain with Cheddar horseradish. The bagels are $3.50 EACH which i think is high for a bagel and cream cheese. We had to wait as 4 dim-witted girls were running around without a clue on how to do much. This as a side not i didn't understand. You're a bagel shop, how hard is it to cut, toast and put a topping on a bagel?! We waited 5 minutes after ordering. When I received the bagel it was just not that good. I'm telling you dunkin donuts has a MUCH better bagel and that's not saying much! Another funny happening this place has tables on the side, and a sign that goes with saying tables are for employees only! So i guess i can't stand here and eat a bagel. Do yourself a favor and keep driving up the road and go to McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts and avoid this place. Over priced, not good bagels are not a good start to a morning! read more
