What a cute and delicious bakery! Staff is so friendly. I came in before the arts festival so it was chaos but the staff was wonderful! Everything was delicious. BEC sandwich, turkey sandwich they have in the display case was so good, and I loved the green smoothie! Definitely will be back!!!

Smoked Salmon on a Gluten Free Everything Bagel

I went to Baker Street Bread recently and everything from the prices to the friendliness of the staff, to the food, was great! I ordered the smoked salmon breakfast and although they were out of everything bagels, they had gluten free everything bagels so I decided to try one, and it was really good! And the sandwich was only $10, which if you order lox pretty often, you know this is a good price! I loved that they also had complimentary fruit infused water for customers as well! What a simple but nice touch! I'll definitely be back! Very cute spot!

Since 1992 this artisan bakery has been serving up coffee and specialty breads. Came for a hot fresh flavorful cappuccino. All we could say was yummmm and be back soon.

Breakfast Burrito

Jason and I love this local spot in Chestnut Hill. The coffee is great, the sandwiches are good, and the service is both quick and friendly. When in Washington, I frequent Starbucks and McDonald's for my coffee. Black coffee is black coffee after all, and convenience is usually paramount. In Chestnut Hill we keep to making coffee at home as our workdays start as early as 0500, but on the weekends, we take a leisurely stroll over to Baker Street Bread to grab a great cup of coffee, a small bite to eat, and to read the neighborhood paper (you can purchase the Chestnut Hill Local here). Ample indoor and outdoor seating make this possible. There is a rewards program handled through Toast, and AmEx is accepted here.

I was recently introduced to this amazing place by a very special friend and I am forever thankful. The first item I got was the sandwich you see in the first picture and OH MY GOD! the fluffiest most flavorful breakfast sandwich I ever had. The eggs are so good and the way it was plated also made it more appetizing to me, it was so clean and just well done. The second time I went, like a week after because I couldn't stop thinking about the food, I got the breakfast burrito and it did something to me. The flavors woke me up! I finished it so quick and had to hold myself back from getting another one immediately. I very quickly realized that I NEEDED another one but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed :( The staff is really sweet and the overall ambiance is very comfortable. I can't wait to come back!

So cute! Situated on a cobblestone street (street parking). Ordered @ counter from posted menu on wall. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee! Sandwich was totally worth it! Grab & Go sandwiches, salads, soups, spreads, etc.

We were determined to make the most of it and found this coffee place the next morning on yelp and we're so happy we did! Instantly brightened what was a terrible situation. Please open a K'Far in Austin, TX!! Pistachio sticky bun - Absolutely delicious! Egg and cheese Jerusalem bagel - Delicious! Crispy, flavorful, slightly spicy. Yemenite iced coffee - So good! Like a spiced Vietnamese coffee. Sachlav - Loved! Like a cappuccino but with less milk. It wasn't as sweet which was a nice contrast to the sticky bun. We got in as a walk in without a wait on a Sunday morning. The server was nice as well. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

I got a chai latte with oat milk and a Shakshuka (which, they told me is not a traditional Shakshuka but rather reimagined as a pasty). It was delicious! The chai latte had great depth and spice flavors, and the Shakshuka pastry was a great mix of flaky puff pastry and strong tomato and egg flavors. Just knocking off one star because for a $5.75 latte, they only filled the glass halfway up. I also got one of their famous pistachio sticky bun to take to go!

This was my first time actually trying it and it definitely lived up to the hype of the Yelp reviews. My wrap had chicken, hummus, lettuce, and feta, and it was so delicious. My chicken was very good, very tender and seasoned well. It also had a great creamy hummus to tie all the other ingredients together. The feta added just enough saltiness to balance out the rest of the flavors. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and my wrap was extremely soft, yet still maintained its form completely as I ate. I also ordered a Nutella hot chocolate. It was delicious! It was my fist time having a Nutella hot Chocolate. I usually just get a normal hot chocolate. The pita chips served as an additional side item with this sandwich and proved to be quite enjoyable. The pita chips had a good crunch and were able to pair with the wrap very well. I ended up eating all of the pita chips! It was a great lunch and I enjoyed my wrap! I would likely order from Café Square One again in the future, especially, if that wrap is still on their menu!

The space feels rustic yet warm. Service: We arrived right when they opened in the morning, and we got personalized 1:1 service. The strawberry French toast is topped with roasted strawberries, cream cheese icing, and sliced almonds. It was super filling with generous portions and just the right balance of sweetness. 2. The crab omelet with grilled onions, local mushrooms, and béarnaise sauce. A unique combination that oddly worked really well together. 3. The classic two-egg breakfast with crispy potatoes and a biscuit. Simple and a great traditional option. Overall, Urban Farmer is a great place to grab breakfast in Philly, whether you're visiting or local.

Some new items on the menu so I figured I would go through a new review:…read more Carrot Soup: This replaces their old root vegetable soup, and they thankfully kept it vegetarian. It was much better than their root vegetable soup, and I was quite fond of that soup. It's honestly nothing like anything else on the menu. It has an indian? maybe? taste to it. It's so good. there is these juicy white raisins inside, some sliced almonds (not treenut friendly), and some sort of white yogurt sauce with micro greens. really a fantastic flavor pallet and the actual soup texture is smooth minus the toppings. Cashew Hummus: okay so here's my thing. I find that this restaurant in particular does such a disservice with their menu item descriptions. Based off of the description of this dish, I would think it's probably decent at best, and might not even order it. luckily I had a sixth sense to know this would be amazing. it's truly so good. it's a hummus layer topped with a bunch of seasoned roasted vegetables and chickpeas. The flavors are great and the textures are also great. I wouldn't have known it was cashew hummus if you didn't tell me. it's honestly not that large, so if you really like vegtables and hummus i'd get your own or split with only one person. if everyone is demure, it could go four ways. also! I don't think it comes with bread. it didn't come with bread this recent visit, but I am not sure if that was a mistake or that's how it is. But, to be safe, i'd save your bread you get at the begining to use for this. this is a must get every time I go. Dandelion salad: I only order this for my welsh rarebit. I like to eat my welsh rarebit with some of the salad since the acid cuts the fatty cheese. but, I will say, it's a very good salad. my favorite part is the thinly sliced celery pieces. it has a bunch of varying greens, celery, avocado, cucumber. all dressed in a lemony dressing. it's very simplistic and that's why I think it's so good. it's quite large, and would be a great "for the table" order so that everyone has some fresh bites with their rich entrees. Welsh Rarebit: my favorite. if you don't know what welsh rarebit is, it's basically fancy cheese toast. think proper fondue cheese with Worcestershire, mustard, maybe guinness, melted on a thick piece of toast. so an open faced fancy grilled cheese. it's two big slices of toast. could easily be shared for the table but I prefer my own order. if you get this I recommend also getting the dandelion salad and eating them together. Chocolate Set: I haven't tried their other desserts, but I just know they are a waste of time compared to this. the chocolate set is a dense chocolate mousse with earl gray ice cream, chocolate nibs, and a few orange slices. it's so simple but so so good. texturally, amazing. the smoothness of the mousse with the crunchy nibs is the perfect contrast. the orange is bright, the ice cream is just great on its own and does so well paired with everything else. it can be shared 4 ways if you have demure people. my family of four just orders two and we get half each. that works for us, we would never be able to share one. all in all great service as always, great food, and obviously a gorgeous interior.

Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Valet / Nearby Parking Atmosphere - The view is absolutely the star of the show.
