We've been here twice and the people were great and most of the food and drinks were great....except for the two large iced mocha frappes we ordered today. They were real watery, no frappe to them, we got the same thing on our first visit and they were made to perfection. The desserts we shared were phenominal. The pistachio tres leches was my favorite with the mango cheesecake a close second. The Achari chicken tikka melt with an egg was full of flavor and plentiful. The Achari chicken tikka melt without an egg was just as tasty. The Punjabi Samosas, 4 to an order, were very good. The grilled chicken tikka burger was amazing according to our son. The Filli version of a happy meal came with 3 chicken tenders, fries, a juice box and a toy.....kids meal box. All the meals came with fries except for the samosas. But for the watery frappes, this would have been a total 5 star experience.

Found this cafe while waiting on my food in the area. Space felt welcoming as soon as I entered. I was greeted by a sweet cashier if gave us a recommendation. I'm so happy she did because I would have never discovered this deliciousness. I ordered the iced zafran chai. My only regret was not ordering a large. Chai was rich, creamy, and had a nice spice. Looking forward to returning to try some of there mocktail options and small bites.

I came here on the weekend and it was quite good! I got the loaded fries, fried weren't soggy at all and the toppings all paired well together. Service and ambience were good, definitely a chill hangout spot if you're in Hillcroft.

Adorable cafe off of Hilcroft and Westpark. They offer a full menu but we came for lunch. The butter chicken rice bowl was yummy but the mini samosas were a thumbs down - the flavor was off and they were cold. We otherwise enjoyed the place and will return.

I absolutely love this "hidden gem" I am sure many people know of it but whenever i come it's only a handful of people. The establishment is very clean and staff very helpful. Fatima helped me today and was a great server. She recommended the Zafrani tea and it was amazing. I will definitely get that the next time I am there. I was here doing some work and after awhile, I got the masala fries. It was saltier than I would have like but still tastey. I enjoyed it. I didn't get a pic of my tea but I will next time. Of you're looking for a nice spot to study, relax, or hang with friends, this is a great spot. Just be leery of the parking spaces in the area. Someone swiped the side of my car trying to park, smh.

My partner and I have decided we want to slowly try all of the vegetarian friendly spots in the Hillcroft area. We saw this new cafe opening their doors; we looked at the menu in advance and we knew where our first stop in our newly planned Hillcroft tour would be. This is definitely designed as a cafe, with plenty of spacious seating, set up in a casual manner, with numerous seats in a row near the window. I already know that I will be returning here to work and study in this unique cafe with true masala cha, and unique Indian inspired sweets and treats. That being said, we came here with the hope of enjoying the food and were slightly disappointed to find the food fairly average. I LOVE when there are vegetarian slider options, unfortunately the chutney spread on the Aloo Tiki Sliders was lacking, and when we asked the staff for more, they were puzzled by the request and were unable to offer more chutney to improve the sauce to aloo ratio. The fries were average, though crispy. The jalapeno popper chaat we ordered was really unique, but not as impressive as we hoped it would be. There is not much in the way of service, but that is not unexpected for a cafe. This is a cafe, so you expect to pay for drinks, but we were also surprised to learn you have to pay for tap water too unfortunately.

Kashmiri chai - 8/10 - Creamiest kashmiri chai ive tried but didnt have enough chai flavor as I would like. Caramel macchiato w/ mocha drizzle - 7/10 - Very caramely and sweet but didnt taste much like coffee, more like sweet milk. Shawarma jalapeño melt - 7.5/10 - Fresh, tasty, and cheesy but not sure how i felt about the chicken. The new location for Filli is definitely aesthetic and a vibe but the food and drinks were decent for the price

I have been waiting for FiLLi Cafe at Westcroft Center to open for a while. I just drove by few weeks ago and saw the lights were on. So, I came to check it out. I love the open view concept. It looks like a fish bowl from outside at night. The interior was very relaxing and inviting. So far, I have tried Foodles, Burger, Hot Chai, Fries, Pouched Chai and Paratha. According to the website, FiLLi Cafe is an Indian restaurant chain originally from Dubai and it's famous for its saffron tea. They have restaurants extended to UK, India, Canada, North Africa, and US in total of 48 other countries. This one on Hillcroft is the second one in Houston besides Sugarland being the first. In few months, the third one will open in Westheimer area. Food was freshly prepared and employees were friendly. The service was beyond my expectation, considering it just opened sometime this month. There are plenty of parking at Westcroft Center. I would bring some friends to FiLLi Cafe Hillcroft to enjoy the Chai with Zafron.

Have been wanting to visit this place for a while but this is the ideal cafe with street food and snacks accompanied by healthy options. Apparently it is a Dubai based chain . I loved the concept . They have a variety of snacks , burgers, rice bowls and food bowls to choose from. Very clean , contemporary setup and ambience. Service was quick and courteous , the nasal chai was too good , very fresh and on the point with taste . Masala bhurji waiting roast felt a little dry , some more butter and spice would have helped . But no complaints . I wish we had a cafe like this in Houston's inner loop .

I was immediately kinda put off by the male employee. The lady helping us was nice and she was telling us price difference between the medium we ordered and the large size so I decided to change 2 of our 4 drinks to large and he came to help her change the order and seemed irritated with us. The inside is quite large with comfy couches and chairs and many tables. The mint lemonade is mostly mint which I loved. Its mint flavor is strong. No skimping there! The fruit teas and mojitos were great. I'll come and try more drinks.

I loved the burger here! The interior of the restaurant is super modern and cute, staff was nice as she gave me recommendations. I ordered the beef burger and it was delicious. It's a minced meat patty that's well-marinated and tender. The bun was super soft and didn't taste like a regular hamburger bun. I had the Nutella milkshake which was light and came in a small glass bottle, a collector's item. The fries and the shake were decent. Everything is clean and pristine here and there are tons of food options. The place had a few tables with students studying and folks on their computer. Definitely retuning to try the other menu items.

Okay so - this is a pretty solid spot. The ambiance/setup is great, the service is exceptional and food isn't bad either. I would give the food solid 3/3.5 stars out of 5. We ordered their club sandwich and alfredo foodles. It didn't taste bad and was very fresh! I guess for me it was just missing that oof factor. Would I have it again though? If I'm in the area, absolutely! Why the 4 stars then? THE CHAI. Go to Filli for their Kadak Chai and everything else is just a bonus. I LOVED their chai and if not for anything else, I would definitely come back for their chai!!

For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers.
