I had a blowout on a double axle trailer that was overloaded with 3 totes of driveway coating (850…read moregallons) on HWY 126 after 5 PM. When I called Jim's towing, Javier recommended I take the spare tire (that was flat) to Castaic because "Benny's Tire" is open until midnight. When I returned with the fixed spare tire, Javier met me at the sight 5 miles east of Fillmore. My trailer was on a slight grade just off the shoulder that made the situation even worse and dangerous for repair... I really thought During the repair the 'tongue jack' collapsed due to the weight, the slope of trailer and a terrible weld job on the trailer jack. And to add to this forgettable evening that I put myself in, Javier showed me that the brakes on the trailer wheel were in pieces when he rotated the wheel before installing the tire. Javier was able to get the trailer back on my truck and I'm now home alive 100 miles north of Fillmore. When I originally asked what the cost would be to do the work, he said it depended on how things went. Javier was on a mission to help me get back on the road and make it as safe as possible for me to get home. He took a bad and dangerous situation and made it the best he could. Jim's towing was extremely fair, courteous, and professional.

I was told if I pay with debit card or check there is no credit card fee. I used my debit to avoid the extra fee. After the battery was installed the service person says they don't give a written receipts they went paper less and would email me an invoice later. Well they charged me an installation fee of $30 and the invoice has a credit card fee and says payment was by VISA. After much aggravation they reversed the installation fee but wouldn't budge on the visa fee even though I used a debit. The MGR Jim didn't like that I called the auto club and told him they are required to give a receipt at the service call and would be contacting Roy's for this violation. I am not going to be using this company again and hope they start to comply with the Auto Club policies.

My family and I had to leave our vehicle behind an alley and run to find a safe place to find a tow company. I called a few places and they told them our situation and they were quoting $600+ plus to tow and drive us back to the Valley. I ended up finding Hawks via Yelp and decided to give them a call. I ended up speaking with a nice individual and he quoted us half the price. They came to our rescue and had to bring a flatbed due to the type of vehicle we had. He drove us all the way from Lynwood to the Valley.
