Poncho and Lefty's shrimp tacos and beer flight.
Caleb K.

Had a great time at Fin City Brewing a couple weeks ago. Their beers on tap are high quality, diverse, and different. My favorite was the Reel Haze, followed by the poor man's IPA. The Black Lager was new and enjoyable for me. I was suprised to enjoy the banana porter. I doubt any is left because it was so good but their seasonal sours are always a treat! Huge bonus that I could order food from Ponchos and get to enjoy the best of both worlds - a relaxed brewery setting with awesome fresh food. Will be back for more soon!

Great beer and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the beer selection. Something for everyone. Zack was incredible with his knowledge of the beer selection and brewing process. No food but but you can order food next-door that they will deliver to you from Pancho and Lefty's. Really great Mexican! Zack thanks for the recommendation with that as well. Looking forward to heading back soon.

An awesome spot for a visit on your way in or out of Ocean City. The inside was clean, updated and relaxed. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable- their service was fast and efficient. We were able to order food from the Mexican spot next door, it was brought to us, we never even had to get up from our barstool. Overall, a great find. If you're a fan of trying new beers this spot should not be missed.

The wild berry peanut butter J.R.E.A.M was surprisingly good, didn't know what to expect from a peanut butter beer but it was delicious. We also tried a bit of their pickle sour and it was definitely different, but strangely drinkable! Our bartender (didn't catch her name) may have been the only one in our section of the brewery, she was doing an amazing job handling the rush of customers!

Luckily, the band was playing outside and none of this impacted our experience inside at the bar. The beertenders were friendly and efficient, especially with how busy Burley Oak was that night. I loved the atmosphere. It was a great venue to spend an evening. It felt like we were on a night out and there was a buzz in the air. Different from another local brewery we enjoy frequenting to relax and soak up some sunshine. We started at one of the hightop tables in the main taproom but moved to the end of the bar after a couple paid their tab and left. Burley Oak typically offers flights and single pours, but there were no flights that night due to the size of the crowd (completely understandable). We still were able to try multiple different beers and styles. I think my favorite was the Brown Butter Apple Pie, which indeed tasted like apple pie--delicious! I also had Sea Heathen, their Lime Lager (wasn't bad but I've had better), and a couple different IPAs. Their taplist featured something for everyone. If you or someone in your party doesn't enjoy beer, Burley Oak also offered mixed drinks, cocktails, and wine. My parents and I of course stuck with beer since we were at a brewery and enjoyed our selections. I also happened to get into conversation with the owner at the bar and he spoke to me like we were regulars. He was very personable, had a great sense of humor, and brought a bunch of energy. It was nice to see someone who was friendly and passionate about their business. We will be back to try more beer during our next stay in Berlin.

While making the reservation I secretly noted that it was husband's birthday weekend. The tour was $15 a person all well worth it! We arrived a few minutes before the tour started and we're greeted by Jeff. From our first meeting through the end of the tour he was AMAZING. He acknowledged my husband's birthday and even had a little birthday cake emoji printed next to his name on his "employee punch card". Through small talk we learned we had a ton in common. He was VERY knowledgeable while giving the tour and had answers to all of our questions and about most of the antiques on the property. The tasting at the end takes place in a speakeasy where you actually have to call on a phone booth phone and obtain the code to get in the secret doors. It was so funny and cool. The other guy working who answered the phone and talked to us before the tour was Richie. He was great too! There was only one other couple signed up for our tour time so it wasn't over crowded even though they max out tours at 16 persons. I was pleasantly surprised how detailed the tour was and how full of memorabilia and antiques the distillery was. A ton of thought and love went into building it. There is no way you won't love it! We were provided some unexpected souvenirs throughout the tour such as the employee punch card, a personalized "prescription" and a sticker. Jeff also offered to take a picture of each couple in the speakeasy. Overall I have told so many friends and other people we have encountered about it. I will continue to spread the word and highly recommend you go for a tour! Having gone on a ton of other brewery and distillery tours throughout the country and world, my husband and I agree this one is near the top! Thanks again, Jeff!

We weren't too sure what to expect from an hour long tour and tasting but it was well worth the small cost. The attention to detail in the decor and aestetic throughout the distillery paying homage to the prohibition is out of this world. We all left with "prescriptions" that were completed on a typewriter which was such a nice touch. We also loved how the tasting cards were formatted to be time cards as well, which we all picked up and punched on our way in and then punched again on our way out. Seacrets really went the extra mile to make a comprehensive experience out of their tour. To add to the experience, the tasting was delicious! My personal favorite was the lemon drop vodka - and that is coming from someone who does not enjoy drinking vodka. My second favorite was the Bourbon Whiskey which I enjoyed chilled. This was so smooth and absolutely delightful! Their seasonal pumpkin spiced rum and their seasonal coffee rum were both tied for third. With each of us getting 3 samples to try, hubby and I made sure to make different choices in order to try more options. 10/10 recommend signing up for one the tours, you will not be disappointed.

Have had multiple visits over the years seeing this establishment grow and have enjoyed them…read more However this was fourth and worse igloo visit. It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.

We enjoyed the diver scallops appetizer, which was amazing, and the vegetarian pasta entree which had peppers & green beans, and other veggies. The rolls they bring out are delicious. The bar side was packed, but the dining room was more relaxing for us.

I think we had arrived right at the start of it since the earlier of our group did not have to pay it. The interior of the place was very cool and filled with plants and plenty of bars. When we were walking around trying to find our group, there was live music being played with a large area for listening and dancing. We met up with our group and ordered a few drinks and were able to watch the sunset on the water. Our first round of drinks were so tasty and good. However, when we ordered our second round, the drinks were much stronger and not as tasty. I think it was a different bartender, especially since we had ordered the same drink of a long island iced tea. We didn't try any food, so I can't comment on that part. The bathrooms were a bit rough; I'm not sure if there was any working AC in the ones I went to 'cause I was so hot! The door stall in the one I was in also didn't close all the way with almost a full inch gap that you could peer into, so I had to pull it close the whole time I was using the stall. Overall, I would come early to avoid the cover fee and enjoy the atmosphere and drinks!
