Cutest little brewery. Sweetest staff. Came in this afternoon and we were greeted so kindly. Yummy beers! Would definitely come again!

Had a great time at Fin City Brewing a couple weeks ago. Their beers on tap are high quality, diverse, and different. My favorite was the Reel Haze, followed by the poor man's IPA. The Black Lager was new and enjoyable for me. I was suprised to enjoy the banana porter. I doubt any is left because it was so good but their seasonal sours are always a treat! Huge bonus that I could order food from Ponchos and get to enjoy the best of both worlds - a relaxed brewery setting with awesome fresh food. Will be back for more soon!

Great beer and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the beer selection. Something for everyone. Zack was incredible with his knowledge of the beer selection and brewing process. No food but but you can order food next-door that they will deliver to you from Pancho and Lefty's. Really great Mexican! Zack thanks for the recommendation with that as well. Looking forward to heading back soon.

An awesome spot for a visit on your way in or out of Ocean City. The inside was clean, updated and relaxed. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable- their service was fast and efficient. We were able to order food from the Mexican spot next door, it was brought to us, we never even had to get up from our barstool. Overall, a great find. If you're a fan of trying new beers this spot should not be missed.

While making the reservation I secretly noted that it was husband's birthday weekend. The tour was $15 a person all well worth it! We arrived a few minutes before the tour started and we're greeted by Jeff. From our first meeting through the end of the tour he was AMAZING. He acknowledged my husband's birthday and even had a little birthday cake emoji printed next to his name on his "employee punch card". Through small talk we learned we had a ton in common. He was VERY knowledgeable while giving the tour and had answers to all of our questions and about most of the antiques on the property. The tasting at the end takes place in a speakeasy where you actually have to call on a phone booth phone and obtain the code to get in the secret doors. It was so funny and cool. The other guy working who answered the phone and talked to us before the tour was Richie. He was great too! There was only one other couple signed up for our tour time so it wasn't over crowded even though they max out tours at 16 persons. I was pleasantly surprised how detailed the tour was and how full of memorabilia and antiques the distillery was. A ton of thought and love went into building it. There is no way you won't love it! We were provided some unexpected souvenirs throughout the tour such as the employee punch card, a personalized "prescription" and a sticker. Jeff also offered to take a picture of each couple in the speakeasy. Overall I have told so many friends and other people we have encountered about it. I will continue to spread the word and highly recommend you go for a tour! Having gone on a ton of other brewery and distillery tours throughout the country and world, my husband and I agree this one is near the top! Thanks again, Jeff!

Driving up the long tree‑lined driveway instantly set the tone: quiet, open, and serene. We grabbed a shady spot under the trees, and Crystal came out right away with warm service and great recommendations. Their wine list includes reds, whites, and rosé, and we loved doing a five‑wine tasting to learn about each variety. They also offer a full cocktail menu made with their own craft brandy, plus house‑brewed beer for anyone who prefers hops over grapes. And there is also food. Farm‑to‑table dishes that pair perfectly with whatever is in your glass. Even pups get treated with their own Wine & Wags menu featuring a pup cup (can add berries with a biscuit), a frozen peanut butter cup, and plain chicken. It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.

My favorite dish is the bowl with mahi but there are many other tasty options like the seafood bake which is a baked potato filled with shrimp, crab and a few other seafood items. Don't expect cheap prices. For example, a bowl is around $26 but it's worth it. Then someone directed us toward the back, where we discovered a huge outdoor restaurant. What a fun, totally hidden place! The floor is sand, the tables and decor are colorful, there are trinkets hanging everywhere and there's even a shipwreck themed play area in the back where kids can explore while waiting for their food. It has a laid-back beach vibe that's hard not to enjoy. Then there's the view. You're right on the bay, watching boats, birds, and people fishing. Oddly enough, seagulls really weren't a problem. The only one I saw patiently waited for a table to leave, then elegantly hopped into the sand, walked underneath the table, and grabbed a lone French fry. Smart bird. Service was attentive, the food was good, and the drinks were okay. I've had better cocktails elsewhere in Ocean City, but my mojito was refreshing. One thing that did annoy me was the cocktail menu. There were no prices listed anywhere. I asked our waitress up front, and she said most cocktails were around $10-$12, which is reasonable these days. So... why hide the prices? I know restaurants often leave prices off online menus because they want you to come in. But once I'm sitting at the table with a menu in my hand, just tell me what everything costs. One standout entree was the fried shrimp basket. Those shrimp had a delicious seasoning that really made the dish. The fish and chips was another winner...classic, tasty and well executed. The steamed clams were fresh, but on the small side. There wasn't any broth, butter, or sauce either...just a dozen small steamed clams. The crab cake sandwich was tasty, although we've had better ones elsewhere in Ocean City for about the same price. Overall, Fish Tales is a very fun place for lunch or dinner. It's about as casual as it gets. Plastic chairs, your feet in the sand, boats cruising along, kids playing on a shipwreck, and a great view of the bay.

The whole place has a good vibe and a great ambiance indoor and specially outdoor, not even the "stormy weather" stopped the good vibes or the crowd whatsoever, pretty full inside and outside when we arrived (still got sat down in minutes, pretty amazing). Big tables with space for us and all the amazing food and servers/bussers were almost always back and forth, even though we didn't always have our server closer, someone with help as well. We ordered sodas for the kids and 2 cocktails for the adults, their crush cocktail with orange and pineapple was perfect and very well balanced! For the food, MY OH MY, we've been craving the steamers for a while now and let me tell you, this place lived up to expectations! The mixed seafood steamer (with the crabs and shrimp, etc) was pretty much perfect and the crawfish steamer which the wife wanted to try (and I was a little skeptical about) made me swallow my own thoughts, everything was cooked and seasoned TO PERFECTION! As good food people that I am (we all are as a family honestly), I decided I wanted to try one last meal and went for the shrimp (skewer) scampi... never had a sauce as good as this one and the shrimp was not only cooked to perfection, it came with 10 total, which was AMAZING! Check was little under 200$ with tip already which I think it was pretty awesome as well since we all ate GREAT seafood. Would recommend this place and would/will definitely go or come back. Best seafood spot ever! Props to the chef, the employees and the owners for a great place!

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Fager's Island!!…read more I rarely leave a negative review, but our experience at Fager's Island in Ocean City, Maryland, was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. We had made a reservation specifically to dine in the fine-dining section upstairs. My wife arrived before me because I had to park the car, and she was already seated upstairs when I entered the restaurant. When I went upstairs to find my wife, I was immediately confronted by an older woman who I believe was associated with the ownership or management. Instead of politely asking if she could help me, she rudely said, "What are you doing here?" I explained that my wife was already upstairs and that we had a reservation. She repeatedly ordered me to go downstairs and speak with the front desk before coming upstairs. I did exactly that, only to be told by the front desk that we had been seated on the lower level, despite my reservation being for the fine-dining section upstairs. When I explained this, my concern was essentially dismissed. Unfortunately, the poor treatment continued at the table. Our waitress took approximately 15 minutes just to come over and ask if we wanted something to drink. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, and when it arrived, we proceeded to order our food. While waiting, I turned one of the chairs slightly so my wife could sit comfortably while I took a picture of her with the beautiful water view behind her. The waitress rudely told me, "You can't turn the chair and take my chair." The attitude was completely unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable as customers. Then came the food. I ordered my steak medium, It arrived well done. Given my experience as a restaurant owner, the steak appeared to me as though it may have been prepared ahead of time and reheated. My wife ordered the fish, which was described to us as fresh caught. Unfortunately, her fish was also overcooked. We did not make a scene. We politely explained the problem to our waitress and asked that both meals be corrected so we could enjoy our dinner together. Instead of simply correcting the problem, the waitress returned with my steak cut open in the middle and told me that the chef said it was cooked perfectly. It wasn't. I explained again that I had ordered it medium to medium-well and that it was well done. I politely asked them to remake it. I also asked that my wife's fish be remade so we could eat together. My steak came back first, but then my wife had to wait another approximately 10 minutes for her fish. At this point, what should have been a nice dinner had become an extremely frustrating experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. That's not the issue. A steak can be overcooked. Fish can be overcooked. Orders can occasionally take longer than expected. What matters is how a restaurant treats its customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, we experienced rudeness, dismissive behavior, poor communication, disappointing service, and food that was not prepared as ordered. I came to Fager's Island expecting an enjoyable fine-dining experience and instead left extremely disappointed. For the prices they charge and the reputation they have, I expected much better. I would not recommend Fager's Island based on our experience. There are plenty of restaurants in Ocean City where customers can spend their money and be treated with courtesy and respect. Fager's Island: beautiful location, but our experience with the service, attitude, and food was simply not acceptable.
