This is my favorite restaurant in OCMD! Located right on the water and with great food, 45th street Taphouse is a great spot for a date or a family outing. They even have a pier so you can get there by boat. The bay front panoramic view was gorgeous, especially as the sun is going down. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The views are gorgeous on their patio. We sat at the bar which had ample seating on a weekday evening. They have great happy hour deals like $5 bombs and discounted rail drinks. Their crabcake sandwich is great and their fettuccini Alfredo was very flavorful. Their tapped up fries were delicious, and the perfect serving amount for 2. The bartenders were all attentive, one of them remade my drink after I pointed out that somehow 6 dead gnats were floating at the top. I would definitely recommend this spot for happy hour snacks or a delicious meal! read more

Food was very good, service was TERRIBLE. We got sat and waited 15 minutes for our server. Weren't given any silverware or napkins. Didn't get asked if we wanted any sauce. Server didn't ask how everything came out but was very quick to ask us for when we need check. We asked server for 2 boxes and only received one box and then when we asked for another server didn't seem too happy. Server walked past us a few times and didn't care to see if we wanted any more drinks or anything such as napkins in which they don't provide us at all. Food is amazing. We had dinner here while vacationing in ocean city. The inside is really nice. The ambience of the water is breathtaking (too bad was rainy and cold during hurricane erin). Server was nice and was pleasant and friendly. My husband ordered the poke bowl and then he ordered one to go. Our daughter ordered a burger she very much enjoyed. She had asked for it on a potato roll and it came with a sesame roll. The server was so apologetic and we really appreciated it but the sesame seed bun was ok and perhaps this kid will be more open to trying new things lol. I had the blackened fish tacos which were good but not really filling and a side salad which was just ok. I wish the tacos came with rice and beans but they came with chips which were very good. The fries our daughters had with chicken fingers and the burger weee sidewinder fries and were amazing. We will definitely be back if ever in ocean city again. read more

Such an amazing spot right on the water. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset. They have indoor and outdoor seating, both which include a full bar so it is quite the vibe. I visited during the summer and it was amazing. Their food is delicious, and their seafood is super fresh. I had the seafood Alfredo, linguini served with scallops and shrimp, and it was incredible. Well well well, they did it again! We came back for the crusin car week and had to get the cheesesteaks. This time we did regular beef and my goodness, what a good idea! We added the fresh jalapeño peppers and substituted pepper Jack cheese. I wish I had asked for extra cheese but seriously, the flavor and those waffle fries were spot on. We went to the bar while we waited and had some orange bombs during happy hour. Once our food was ready, the lovely hostess came out with our food and wanted me to make sure my food was exactly how I like it (I really don't like pickled jalapeño's and she wanted us to double check they weren't as she remembered me telling her) Our Togo bag is a reusable bag which is perfect for shopping trips and not adding to the plastic waste. I'm very happy they brought most of their old menu back. The happy hour food menu is a great deal. Along with my usual tapped up fries, pretzel, dumplings, and wings I tried the hot honey chicken flatbread and it was amazing! The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 stars is because of the service. Excellent service! Our waiter, Abood, was a gem! He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and exemplifies what a great server should be. The atmosphere was great. We sat outside by the water, so beautiful. Although, I wish we'd gone a little later in the evening as we were roasting in the sun. They do have inside seating in the air too. We came on a Friday night during st. patty's weekend so it was busy, but we were seated right away. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap with fries. The chicken caesar wrap was decent, nothing to rave about. I did enjoy the fries so I'm glad I upgraded to the fries. For drinks, I got the prickly pear punch and vodka soda. The punch was too sweet for me, and tasted more like juice/couldn't taste much of the alcohol. The vodka soda though was strong. Service was good as our waitress checked on us often. The restaurant is right by the water. They have happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-6pm. I would rate it a 3.5/5, rounding up to a 4/5. read more

And the brussels sprout appetizer was way way, way overcooked. It was so crispy. You couldn't even get it on your fork and it tasted charred as well. 4 drinks and brussel sprouts was all we ordered. We arrived here on our boat and we parked outside. We walked in and put in our order. Everything was fine until they brought out our food. They forgot our Mac n cheese that we ordered, forgot silverware and sauces. We paid for a Mac n cheese and we wait longer. Anyway, we are still waiting when they tell us they "don't have anymore silverware." How are we gonna eat it, with our fingers??? Not to mention the workers in the back are ordering DoorDash and getting all excited when they should be working and serving their customers. My husband and I stopped here to grab a quick dinner when we arrived in town. The place was quite empty considering it was dinner time, which we thought was odd. My husband's cream of crab soup came out ice cold. The waitress just said she'd take it back after we told her. didn't know if this meant replace it, take it off the bill, or give us a new bowl. So finally my husband had to ask her to just reheat it. I ordered the Mexican street corn salad, which said on the menu it had corn, pico, shredded cheese, red onion, and jalapeños in it. It was literally just lettuce with corn mixed in it, nothing else. The restrooms were very dirty as well. The staff was mostly young college age kids who were more interested in their phones than working. We won't be going back there again! read more

I had to write a quick review on this bc the food was so good last night and the service was super helpful. We stopped in to meet up w friends and grab a bite. The DBF was running late, and the bartender overheard me say that he was going to order food. He let me know the kitchen would be closing in about 45 mins so I could get the order in for him. I thought that was so nice and really appreciated the heads up since I knew what he planned to order. We got a chicken cheesesteak and cream of crab soup. The chicken was shaved chicken breast, well seasoned w great texture and flavor. I may be ruined now for standard sub shop offerings. The fries were neat, they looked like little petals. Perfect for dipping into the cream of crab. And the soup was terrific, one of the best that I have had in a while. My friend thought it was a little thin and could use a little more seasoning, but I thought it was great just the way it was. 45th St Taphouse is one of our regular spots when we are in town. It has a nice atmosphere, great drinks and yummy food. We are def fans! read more

Sorta-kinda of a letdown. The pictures on social media and yelp got me! The food we ordered was mediocre and the drinks tasted of straight migraine-induced liquor--college style. Not pleasant. I did come here during the "off season," however, that does not provide an excuse for mediocre food and poorly made drinks. To make us feel better for spending money and not enjoying the food, my partner and I joked that the restaurant was depressed due to the offseason. We promised to come back during the summer to give them a secondchance but we will not be ordering anything with tuna or salmon. read more

We were a party of 5. It was nice to come here and get seated reasonably quickly on a Thur night during a busy time in late July. Even got a nice water view. Came for the brews which he was very satisfied with. Food included hot wings, burger, seafood pasta, and crab cobb salad. Service was on the quick side but very nice and all the food was good. The hot wings were said to have actually been on the spicy side, which isn't always the case when ordering hot wings, so bonus points. I thought the cobb salad was delicious and they did not skimp on the avocado or crab. Though it was a tiny iny bit salty. Made me wonder if something was borderline fresh but with everyone else's dish turning out great I decided they just added a tad more salt than intended and I still really liked it. Will look forward to returning on our next visit to OC. read more

Oh boy. So we ordered the calamari to start. It was served with very spicy sauce which was fine in small doses, however the calamari was rubberized and overcooked. That's unfortunate. For our mains we ordered crab cake sliders with fries and tuna poke bowl. The sliders were smaller than expected and commercially appearing. Chips came out instead. They were good. The tuna poke bowl was DRENCHED in the sauce that came with the calamari. It was essentially inedible. The rice was rock hard and the seaweed was not chewable. Amazing views! We sat on the patio with our small dog. Cocktail was amazing. Potstickers were amazing. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger. It came covered in giant pieces of portobello mushrooms. Most had to be removed in order to eat the actual burger. Their house made chips were good. Was too full- but they had creme brûlée on the menu I would have loved to try. It's on the main drag, but away from the crowds. Definitely reccomend. read more
