    Chicken cheesesteak

Cheesesteaks are soooo good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was packed on a Saturday in the off season so we got the last seats at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was attentive and quick. Beer was cheap. Will be back!

Great local hangout for good drinks, food, and silliness!

Great local spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No frills.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Games will be on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Big wine pours. Delicious bar food! Service is fast and to the point lol

Always enjoy my time here. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was going once again. The sliders and onion rings are always tasty as well.

Bartender was not courteous. Food was not good. We were less than impressed. The wings were overcooked and the steamed shrimp had no taste.

We arrived between…read morelunch and dinner on a Saturday afternoon and both the restaurant and bar were almost empty. I thought that was a bad sign, but shortly after we arrived seats started filling quickly. I couldn't believe how big the bar was -- it seemed like it wrapped around the entire restaurant. I also loved how they used oyster shells in multiple places as decoration. Our bartender was great. She was so friendly and interacted with us often between helping customers. She also made a great Orange Crush per my parents and Aunts which is a huge plus in their eyes. I stuck with the $4 Big Oyster Brewery drafts as part of Happy Hour which I think is a great deal for craft beer. My dad and I split a half dozen oysters and Happy Hour Fish & Chips. The oysters were definitely fresh and worth the $11 price point on HH. The Fish & Chips, which I highly recommend, were lightly battered, flaky Cod fried perfectly and the boardwalk fries were a great complement. My wife ordered the crab dip, which it seems she always gravitates to whenever she sees it on a menu, and LOVED it! She described it as, "hot, bubbly, delicious, and crabby!" The reason this review was not 5 stars (it very well could have been -- and it easily could have been less had we arrived sooner or later) is because our bartender's shift was over prior to us leaving. We closed out with her and started a new tab with the shift change. We ordered another Orange Crush, made by one of the new bartenders, and it was completely different (way too much soda and nearly no orange juice). When pointed out to the bartender that his Crush was much different than the first bartender's, he remade it with way too much OJ and no garnish. Maybe it was just me but the way he took away the original Crush and put the remade Crush back on the bar just seemed like he was annoyed. I'm not one to complain about food/drink but visually and to the taste, both of the Crushes he made were nowhere near similar to the ones our original bartender made. We visit Selbyville annually for our family vacation and will definitely be back. The service and the $11 Orange Crushes were, for the most part, great, and we really enjoyed the food we ordered.

So ... it wasn't a great first visit…read more We went yesterday and they were out of a number of things. Tried to order fish and chips with cod or haddock . I guess I still could've gotten them if I was okay with Salmon, Sword Fish, or some other non whitefish. My buddy tried to justify it by saying it's St Pattys day ... like the business didn't know that. I next tried fried chicken. Oops ... outta that too. In coastal Delaware? The chicken capital of the mid Atlantic. The table ordered crab dip that apparently comes with tortilla chips with a little old bay sprinkled on them. When you try to dip the tortilla in the crab dip the chip breaks... To the owner or manager ... it's awkward and doesn't work. And for a $1.50 you can add a dinner roll sized loaf of bread. It just feels like intentional nickel pinching. For me I settled on the Jambalaya... honestly the shrimp were nice but the dish didn't really taste like what it was meant to represent. And there wasn't enough rice to make it worth the mid $20s price tag. Finally, one of our group was drinking her mixed drink and there was a fruit fly in the ice. He was nice about it and replaced it with another. It happens when you use fruit as garnish. The place was decorated nice, and the service was pretty good. The only other criticism.... When they were out or fried fish and chicken I was going to pivot to wings.... But man $18.00 for chicken wings. And you know it's actually half a wing (a drum or flap). I guess I could live with it when wings were scarce but not now. If they had chicken I could've gotten a breast and two whole wings with 2 sides for $21.50. So you are paying $18.00 for 3 whole wings a couple of tablespoons of sauce, a couple celery sticks, and a condiment cup of ranch or blue cheese. Honestly I probably won't go back.

The cocktails were great, and the crab and pimento dip was just okay. I ordered the shrimp and grits from the daily specials menu and didn't love it. The shrimp came with the shells still on the tail, which I had to pick off myself. Also the chorizo wasn't crumbled, but cooked in the casing and then cut up, which made it rock hard and taste very strongly of iron. It's what I would imagine a blood sausage to taste like (gross!). I didn't finish my plate, which was a bit disappointing. My family ordered a crab cake sandwich and fried fish sandwich, which they said were good though. Not a bad spot to stop if you're on the north side of Ocean City.

Before we left the bar, all high tops were full with customers including customers who were waiting for our bar stools. Some customers seized the high tops, while some went to the secondary bar. A second bartender was called in when the bar became very busy. I opted for my three strawberry margaritas with salted rims for $8 each. I also enjoyed my Tsunami Wontons with Atlantic lobster, jumbo lump crab, avocado, pico de gallo, and wasabi and red pepper coulis for $20. The happy hour menu is different from when we last visited. Bartender Mark served both of us very well. My friend and I split our bill in half. My share of our bill was $49 including a 3% credit card surcharge, but excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for happy hour.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

We took some time to peruse the 2 page menu looking for both old favorites and what's new. I decided to try one of my usual sandwiches, The Rachel for comparison sake & added Sweet potato fries (additional upgrade). I asked & was happy the special spicy sauce I loved to combine with the fries was still available under a different name, Texas sauce. I will say, my sandwich was much better than in "the old days" because this was made with actual carved turkey thick slices as opposed to thin cold cut turkey from prior ownership. I was a happy camper! My hubby tried something new to him at Whiskers, he had a chicken cheesesteak sub and was pleasantly surprised and impressed to find it was not finely chopped up chicken, but cut up grilled chicken chunks with nicely sautéed onions.
